One of the greatest, most badass, coolest games ever made. Easily kills 99,99% of modern games.
>b-b-b-but it's not 3d and it requires me reading and selecting stuff and having more than 5 seconds of patience, it doesn't give me instant gratification and it's not open world like gta and i can't blow things up!
If that's your reasons for not playing it, then you don't deserve to play it - you deserve to miss out on experiencing one of the best games ever made.
Anyway, not only is it one of the best games and coolest and most fun games ever made, it's also one of the /most well-made/ games. Can't really find anything wrong with it, or anything which could be improved. Maybe that the Sega CD version (which is the best version) is unfortunately very slightly censored. Really the only legit critique against the game would be that the replay value isn't fantastically high, but that's unavoidable since the characters, the story and solving the "mysteries" etc is an integral part of what makes it fun - once you know everything it's never the same as the first time you go through it. Still very fun to come back to it after a long break from it though.
I played it for a couple of hours but got stuck on something I think. I might go back to it if I remember how to set up the sega cd emulator on vita.
Juan Gonzalez
Yay. Lets click on a menu and select each option until we pick the right one. Lets stare at a static background for 10 minutes with a shit ost that plays on loop. Uh oh! Here comes some bad guys! Lets shoot at the screen were there are only 9 different portions of the screen too shoot! So difficult!
Only boomers and nostalgia fags would be interested in this visual novel that barely qualifies as a game.
Julian Anderson
>adult zoomer: the post """people""" like you are the reason why vidya is dead today

Why play a crappy Blade Runner ripoff when the real Blade Runner game is compatible with ScummVM?
Charles Smith
The original MSX version is great and uncensored and with uncut content. But it doesn't have the third act. The sega version is censored and cut elements that worked on computers but not console. But it has the final act with good mechanics of its own. Your call.
Luke Scott
don't know anything about the game besides it's made by kojima but it looks like a blade runner ripoff from the cover

I just asked since when reading a book requires taste. Do you really think someone reading 50 shades of grey have god tier taste just because he read? And answering your question, don’t
Mason Campbell
>2d 2D games are objectively inferior to 3D, and cannot deliver as compelling or satisfying an experience, ever. The only reason they ever existed in the first place was because of technological limitations. Fuck all 2D games.

Did you at least get a good deal from Satan?
Caleb Adams
The Blade Runner game is unironically one of the best point and clicks ever made, and when it released it was the best selling adventure game on the market on the market by a huge margin. That's why it used voxels. They needed the game to run on shitty old PCs because it needed to be the best selling adventure game in history to make its money back, which it kinda did.
Absolutely kino game. Redefined the point and click and detective genres by getting rid of traditional puzzles and the like. Also the story keeps going and changes depending on your actions. Stuff like LA Noire owes a huge debt to it.
Liam Thomas
What are the games made by kojima that have a good story? I heard that 4, 5 and revengeance have shitty ones
Ryan Clark
download a Sega CD emulator, download the game, play
Elijah Hall
Snatcher SD was better!
Samuel Sullivan
maybe you should start reading instead of acting like a bitch
Ryan Moore
>Redefined the point and click and detective genres by getting rid of traditional puzzles and the like. Interesting because I hate puzzles, but that doesn’t mean it’s more like a VN?
Levi Fisher
MGS, MGS2, MGS3, Snatcher, Policenauts

Noah Flores
Imagine being an adult and having this shit taste. Go play WoW or something.
Noah Robinson
Nigga.
Brody Thompson
No, it's more like LA Noire. But with far more nuance. The replicant status of the characters is randomized. Your own replicant status is shaped through player behavior. Simple actions like holstering your gun instead of opening fire on a replicant can change the outcome of the story. Moat modern story-driven adventure games take after Blade Runner. Telltale's modern stuff is a super dumbed down descendant.
Logan King
>like everything that Kojima touches Opinion entirely discarded.
