LoZ artstyle

I'm not mad about the style that they chose with Link's awakening. I was disappointed after that amazing animation in the trailer but I managed. But looking at Cadence of Hyrule's art style and sprite work makes me sad. This is exactly what I wanted for Link's awakening. Its like a tease. I hope we get something like this later down the line. Thoughts?

Nintendo will forever make bad mistakes with LoZ because the Zelda fanbase is severely autistic and will buy anything that has a triforce stamped on it.

No one asked for LA to look like a toy. It's a forced marketing push. If GB sprites = toys, then why didn't Pokemon make that apparent when the 64/Gamecube happened? Gen 6+ be damned, that wasn't the original vision. NuTendo I think is really hammering in on hiding their shit tier hardware with "style" as an excuse. Like they did with the Wii.

Cadence is nice but it definitely looks lower budget than LA does.
LA also looked a bit nicer at E3 than it did in the initial trailer.

A GB game could have looked like anything, while WW before it was revealed was meant to, to fans, look like OoT 3.

Read the rest of my post. There's a DIFFERENCE why the outcry for that happened. If OoT/MM didn't happen and from LttP to WW happened, that argument never would have happened. Same shit statement applies to OoT, because LttP totally looked as dark as that game sure did.

I wasn't even a Zeldafag until WW faggot. I saw that trailer years later after all the bitching the Zeldafags kept doing and after seeing it, I realize where their complains come from, and yes, it's valid. It's just like the 2011 teaser of Zelda looking like (ironically) Twilight Pricess 2, but then we got BotW. Lo and behold, no one complained about the artstyle of BotW. Why? Because people didn;t care about the looks when the gameplay actually made up for it. That's likely where LA:Re is heading. Which is fine, but WW was at a time of different persective, and claiming it's the same shit with LA:Re is retarded. It's not the same. No one before its reveal had a basis of what a LA:Re could look like, but what it ended up just wasn't what people expected out of Zelda, espeically right next to BotW. It's called a kneejerk reaction.

To say WW is hated on was only it's artstyle is retarded. To say TP is bad because it pandered to OoTfags is ALSO retarded. I liked TP. It's not about the artstyle , subjectively speaking, people will say whatever they think, which is fine, it's about first impressions, and LA:Re just didn't tickle everyones fancy, tough shit.

I really like seeing the Stone Talus and BOTW Lynel is a topdown Zelda

So I did a normal playthrough with Link.
Then I did a permadeath playthrough with Zelda.

Both times it turns out, I got a 100% of everything, except one heart piece. It's not on the map screen though and I am pretty certain I've got everything from the shops in all the dungeons. Especially since I've played it twice now.
I've gotten the heart pieces and bomb/arrow size upgrades from the mini games. What else could there be?
Also what's up with Cojiro? Just a regular a easter egg that's functionally identical to a regular cucco?
