it's technically possible to get through everything the game has to offer with just rentals but once you get to round 2, even the best possible teams still need a little luck to get through.

I remember the Starmie having a decent moveset for beating Golem, Starmie, and possibly Machamp so I pray for those two, deal a small amount of damage before it gets finished off by Dragonair/Alakzam and pray I'm lucky with thunder wave and whittling moves on the lvl 20.

tfw the reason the stadium game were made is because the gameboy wasnt powerful enough for 3d. Modern systems are and the pokemon barely animate. We need to get HAL back on it! I get that GF is probs bored to death of their cash cow. But why not just let someone else take a crack at it? Just pop in and keep them in line for the most part.

Stadium 3 or Battle Revolution 2 are the only things that can save Gen 8, bros.

Every Pokemon has a whole bunch of unique animations, but they're exclusive to Amie/Refresh for whatever reason.
A bunch of these would work as idles, a few would work as attack animations, and there's even a "waking up from sleep" animation for each one.
