So much that I'm considering upgrading to a new 3ds. But I'm scared all my save files and streetpass and stuff wont transfer over from my current one because I have read some horror stories. Anyone here had actual success with transferring all your saves and stuff over to a new system?

Transferred my stuff from 3DS > 3DS XL > New 3DS. No problems at all and the transfer video is cute

All my StreetPass stuff carried over just fine to my current one. And my dumb ass let the battery on the new one die like three times during the system transfer process

Mario Maker 3DS has been my go-to toilet game for the past month. It's great because I can beat a level and get both medals in the ten minutes it takes me to shit. I just made it to World 15 today.

Yeah, if you didn’t use it, it doesn’t mean other people did not. Otherwise there wouldn’t be any reason to have new 3ds to begin with. I play with it on here and then, but it’s not something i use all the time. Main problem is that a lot of games utilize it pretty badly, like they were not meant for 3d. Best 3d games are top down ones like animal crossing or zelda link between worlds, mario 3d land, 2.5 platformers, where background kinda becomes a 3d background book (or whatever those books were called) and some other games like ace combat, racing games, monster hunter, smash bros. N64 zeldas, xenoblade, for instance, utlize it pretty badly, like it just makes the game kinda muddy, nothing really pops out.

Pretty sure there are 3 more labyrinths after Petal Bridge, you get the subclassing item near the end of that third labyrinth. The item's in an underwater dungeon so when you get there you'll know you're close

I just read the 3DS XL doesn't come with a charger, what the fuck? How do they expect you to use your new handheld? Does the regular DS charger work with 3DSes?

The charger is a surprise feature, and it's quite ethical. The NDS charger does NOT work with a 3DS, but the 3DS works with the XL, gotta fork over that sweet $12.

I had my 3DS stolen last year, along with my competitive pokemon team, a perfect file of Fire Emblem Awakening, and a 100% save file of Fire Emblem Warriors, and like 300+ hours in Ever Oasis, a complete save file of Monster Hunter 3U, 4U, and Gen plus some others. I've never gone back to play them because it's too much work and I can't play them the vanilla way again. My heart goes out to you.

I see. Never played that game before. The procedure is kind of annoying but you can extract the memory card file from PSP's PS1 emulator, use it on PC PS1 emulator and reinject it to PSP again. I used it to avoid the crash at the beginning of Valkyrie Profile but didn't go further than the first dungeon. Using this way you can avoid the crashing point and continue on PSP before.

Forgot to mention, do this if trying different POPS versions from POPSloader doesn't work.

Yeah no he fucked up big. My phone was LITERALLY charging on top of my laptop, I had some gold rings on my desk, and a bunch of other shit. The police found the guy, and he was some pajeet crackhead, didn't get my stuff back, but the courts made him pay me a grand, which was more than the stuff was worth so whatever.

I suggest getting a 128 instead. You run out of space faster than you anticipate, unless you only want to use it for a couple of 3DS games and mostly older stuff.

I'd consider making a new save after Sword and Shield come out for a second Surfchu so I could do both Pikachu and Raichu, but honestly doubt I will even then. I literally JUST replayed Moon in full to get a Cosmog to complete my Living National Dex in Bank (except Volcanion since I missed that event, which sucks), so won't replay the story of these games again any time soon.

128gb cards cause issues though (or at least they did last I used one) like custom themes not displaying when you first turn your 3DS on, much slower loading of game saves in the save manager, GBA games not displaying correctly in native mode, etc.

The cheapest Netac 32GB micro SD card in the cheapest AGFAPHOTO micro SD to SD adapter you can imagine.

Takes about 15 second with and withou the SD card inside.

Just go slow with the hacking process, and read everything. The process now compared to 3 or 4 years ago is WAY easier.
If you're going to do this, you're better off getting a "new" model 3ds or 3dsxl. The new models are that much more powerful and have way more options.

Couldn't possibly care less about Zelda, I've never really gotten into the games because I grew up with Sega stuff.
