Is your wallet ready for tomorrow?
A week or two of discounts that doesn't change at all, modern steam summer sale shouldn't need more than two days at most.

If I'm being perfectly honest, the last time I bought more than 2 games in a steam sale (or any at all) was like 3 years ago, I think.
Most games I buy, I get from some 3rd party steamkey site like cdkeys.
They're almost always cheaper than steam, even during steam sales.
I'd buy gog but I always get steam keys cheaper, and having steam when 90% of my games are there isn't really a big "drm minus"
Well, atleast I don't have to use Epic, Origin or uPlay
This, pretty much. If there's a game I'm interested in, I buy it on release from some discount store
Everything else I don't give a shit about even if it's on sale
I'm ready for a miracle.
I'm broke so no games this year, I usually buy during the winter sale anyway.
But thankfully that means less games in my backlog
imagine still falling for the steam "sale" meme with all those "-90%" from 60$ of 10 year olds games lmao. Even console sales are far better than steam sales these days.
This is a big reason I don't care for Summer Sales, along with a few others
>took all the fun out of the event with no community or flash sales
>No genuinely shocking deals, mostly stuff gets down to about 25-40% off now
>only shit that ever gets a bit sale is stuff that's done so for the past 3 or 4 sales (Borderlands, The Witcher, etc)
>tfw will never relive the summer sales of 2010 and 2011 again when I was getting back into PC gaming
I feel like there's nothing worth getting these days.
My hype and goodwill for Steam Summer and Winter sales died when they removed the flash and community vote sales.
I used to log in and check each day for sales, now I just log in on the very first day, look at the sales and log off.
This, they took all the fun out of these events especially when they added in that trading card horseshit.
I hate how anti-community all these companies have become.
>I feel like there's nothing worth getting these days.
there are alot of good games but the sales are just so fucking stingy these days
No new game goes below -50%
hell, not even over 2 year old games go below -50%
The only ones that do are usually just indie games and overpriced shit that already got distributed via humblebundle / humble monthly
The reason why I don't buy anymore is because steam can't compete with 3rd party sites.
I'd be crazy if I chose to pay $10 extra just to have a direct steam key that nets me up to three stupid trading cards.
I don't miss flash deals, though, because those always made me nervous and triggered my "fear of missing out" and I ended up buying things I barely cared about
I wish they did more sales and brought everyone together to participate like they did for pic related. The most fun I've had with a sale and every thread was fun.
Welp, this sale got me with no cash on my wallet, here we go again.
i'm ready to get the badge and nothing else
they don't even have trading cards this year.
Is that even real chinese or is it just some racist who's high and thnks he's funny?
>they're almost always cheaper than steam, even during steam sales
that's because you play AAA garbage. Indies and AA are always cheaper on Steam Sales, some are not even available on 3rd party sellers.
i miss that aliens mini game
There aren't any games I'm really interested in that I don't already own, so not really. Only thing I'm curious about is if Steam is going to name it the Epic Steam Summer Sale or something along those lines.
Best sites to use?
isthereanydeal.com
or
allkeyshop.com
Will mortal kombat keep the discount?
Thanks man
i don't know, I usually find that even indies are like $5 cheaper on average, but that depends entirely on how shady the seller is, I guess.
I've used shady and non shady 3rd party stores for like 7 years now and I haven't had any issues, not even once.
I actually expect this sale to be pretty good.
Considering how hard Epic Store has been promoting itself, no way steam is not gonna counter it with some good deals of its own.
They literally sell for $1-$5 after a year or 2 since launch. Only the super mainstream Indies stay at launch prices like Undertale was for a while.
>that's because you play AAA garbage
Name one good recent AAA game on PC.
I already have all the games I want. Unless some VR shit goes on sale
Resident Evil 2, Sekiro and MK11
>allkeyshop.com
yeah not clicking this virus lol
you mean the NR sale? I don't think so
Ill probably get Lobo Corp if it goes on sale
>Deep Rock Galactic
>Foxhole
>Hell let Loose
>Battalion 1944
>Lobotomy Corp
recommend good games to get in the sale lads
skyrim
yes, already filtered out the fagshit
> Yakuza 0
> Yakuza Kiwami 1
> Yakuza Kiwami 2
prove me wrong
What are some high tier games that are worth buying triple A games are welcome
Dark souls is my fav game
>inb4 sekiro
They're doing those shitty tokens again, like they did with the Lunar sale which had those pig emojis.
So basically there won't be an event, and you just pay money to get tokens and buy emojis.
>tfw owning 4/5
Personal recommendations
>Hunt: Showdown
>Darkwood
>Slay the Spire
>Mordhau
>Battle Brothers
>Stories Untold
>WH40k Mechanicus
At least you could use tokens to get a coupon last time.

Any of these that hit record lows.
I gave away some games to a lucky user last year. Maybe some lucky user will get lucky this year.
GOOD LUCK BEAMU!
What of these are trustworthy?
I'm legit spooked at just inputting my card number into one of those things.
the problem with steam sales is that nowadays most publishers inflate their "normal" price to compensate for most of he games beng sold during sales. So you end up with shitty indie games sold for $20 when the're worth like $5 in reality
Use allkeyshop and pay using Paypal, ez
>Why yes, I do not care about Steam sales, how could you tell?
This.
If your indie game is more than $5 on sale fuck off I'll pirate.
Fanatical already started their sale and they give an extra 10% off with a coupon. And they don't charge tax.
islander's sucks don't bother w/ it
Explain.
>taxes
>Shit discounts
>Grey market is cheaper
Yeah fuck that. I'm just here for a few vr games since I just got a headset.
I think I have enough games to play for now, Gabe.
If not, that would be unfortunate.
For me, it's
>Kingdom Cum
>Monster Hunter
>Pathfinder Kingmaker
half off and perhaps I'll buy one
Kingdom Cum was easily my goty
There is nothing I want. How do I get hyped lads?
I just want to buy Starjew Valley.
My wallet is ready. No problem.
Games are not, though...
BG: A is just -33% until July 9th and I dont expect to get better discounts for Martyr and Mechanicus.
Maybe get a bunch of cheap games to keep me busy...
Time to check friends wishlist for games to buy for myself
>Is your wallet ready for tomorrow?
yeah, I'm excited
No one will acknowledge that you just won your argument
Based and red pillled my negro
Gonna buy FFVII, FFVIII, DSIII, Nier Automata and Sekiro if it got a discount.
Rimworld
MHW
Maybe divinity 2 if it actually goes on a real fucking sale.
I might buy Oblivion and that's it.
>Steam sale
>Square-Enix games will never, ever, go above 50% off
What's even the point.
Don't complain to me. Factorio has never actually gone on fucking sale it's only gotten more expensive.
Fuck those devs
Recommend me good space games please, any genre
My ASS
>The Game
>-75%
>The Game GOTY (The Game + DLC)
>-75%
>DLC
>-50%
This is when steam sales died.
>Rimworld
>sale
Prey
If by Space you mean Space themed, play Homeworld if you haven't already.
>DLC that came out two months ago isn't discounted as much as game which came out 2 years ago
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
secondly early adopters deserve to get fucked in the ass and it's a good thing that they do every single time. fuck you
KC is fantastic, be aware that the first 4/5h are just one big ass slow tutorial, game only starts when you get the horse tro the main quest line. Also alot of side quests have a timer on in, so take that in mind when accepting one.
>buying PC games
kek
Thanks bros
Would you say any of the DLC is worth it?
Been thinking I'll just get the base game
I haven't cared in a long time.
anyone ever use freegogpcgames.com?
Well memed, my friend.
Check this AAA game currently on sale and make sure to check up every other old and new game tomorrow.
Freespace I and 2and cool space fighter sims
Overload is a modern Descent. Very fun.
The x-wing/tie fighter games are still fun and challenging (especially tie fighter. Bonus points for finally letting you play as the good guys) but you should really get them off of GoG instead
I've heard good things about the X series but can't comment as I haven't played them myself.
You completely overestimate modern Steam. The deals will be shit like always.
Do you use a VPN? Debating if I should pay for one or not.
INCLUDES season pass retard
How is this a bad thing at all, wow I get the whole thing cheap if I'm not a braindead fucking retard who buys games for 60 dollars on day one, how horrible
>RE2
>Sekiro
>AAA
AAA stands for All American Art
Steam doesn't set the discounts you fucking brainlets
Piracy
>free
>you actually own the game (as much as you can "own" a digital good)
>the game updates when you want it to, instead of when the devs demand it
>can play game without any DRM whatsoever
Steam
>overpriced
>you own nothing
>DRM, often times multiple forms of DRM layered on top of one another
>unable to to even launch any game without updating it, often breaking mods or edits the user has done just so devs can add support for chink language, or support some worthless shit like VR that 5 people use
>every publisher left and made their own launcher so Steam basically gets paid to be some faggy GAYMUR Facebook for furries and weebs while doing nothing
GoG
>removes most of these disadvantages but doesn't have faggy social bullshit and a cult of personality around it so retards continue to pay Gabe to do nothing
Origin, Epic, Uplay, whatever
>every disadvantage of Steam, but has exclusive games, and/or gives more/all of the money to the actual makers of the game which is the only reason to actually purchase video games
Remind me again why Steam exists?
Piracy is scary though cause I don't have a VPN. I won't pirate AAA games though so who knows how unsafe it is.
>western square enix game
>regularly drops to less than $5
>discounted franchise bundle to drop it even more
>japanese square enix game
>usually never go below $20, older ones rarely go as low as $7.50-ish because $5 would be as low as dirty western games
>no franchise bundles
also a reminder to anyone who hasn't played sleeping dogs that $2 is a steal
Steam is not DRM.
I'm broke till Thursday but I'm sure it'll be nothing like always
>no new game goes below 50%
Are you that fucking entitled that you expect every game to be half the price or less??
>MK11
>good
>HURR DURR I LOVE DEVS PLEASE STICK YOUR BIG DEV DICK IN ME DADDY
This is literally you. Get standards.
just poor people shit
they think new games should be $20, not 60 and seethe when they can't participate
Might be time to get GTA V
Have sex
your picrelated is out of date (needs more 33% in place of 50)
This is imp bounce #2
[Boing]
>Dark souls is my fav game
It doesn't matter which game we recommend to you, you're going to find it inferior to Dark Souls.
Don't bother asking for recs again.
grim dawn pls
I want to see
>stalker
>rim world
>wasteland 2
>mordhau
>any civ game
>oldfags that have been using Steam since 2008 and now have a library of over 1000 titles complain the sales are unimpressive
Every thread, and it's been like this for years. Just shitpost, dude.
you missed the boat on stalker being dirt cheap by a few years.
>Remind me again why Steam exists?
Regional pricing
Wide selection of games
Steam workshop
Porn
>I want to see rimworld
user...
really need a good fighting game.
Go dil8 console babby, and then continue to buy over priced gaymes
what
Cdkeys is good bought these on release.
never going on sale
I have too many games backlogged to even consider it. Plus, I would say over 3/4ths of my library is from Humble Bundle and few other sites over the past 5 years.
Also this. Plus the sales on Steam are no longer insanely cheap like they use to be. I noticed a decrease in discounts compared to years ago.
Steam sales have gone to shit, zero hype
>Are you that fucking entitled that you expect every game to be half the price or less??
I take it your Steam account was recently created in the past 1-4 years.
Instant gaming is good and really cheap
Do the devs do the same shit like the factorio devs?
rec me some AAA/big title games to buy
-90% street fighter v pls
I just want Dragon Quest man
DMC5
There aren't non-shitposting people on here who actually think steam sales (and even off-site sales) have not been shit for the past few years right?
It's my last chance to get SBCG4AP on sale before it's pulled from the store like all the other Telltale games.
I would fuck her tight asshole raw
Anyone know any good JRPGs to look out for?
I've already got DQXI, every FF, Trails in the Sky 1, Cold Steel I & II, Ni No Kuni II, Tales of Symphonia/Vesperia
I'll probably get DQ11 and GTA V.
Jewish girls are Top tier
Do Telltale games even go on sale any more since the company turned skeltal?
Is that a Lego watch, an autism watch, or both?
No idea. Who would the money even go to?
>Mordhau
My nigga
Why do you feel the need to announce that going to be "perfectly honest?" Do you lie so much you have to point out when you're not lying?
more for steam
Too busy playing system shock enhanced edition
>her
i want to have super smart babies with her
dirty hairy jew
I won't prove you wrong but I recommend anyone that picks up all these games paces themselves.
Right, not on my list but i'm not big into bayonetta dmc type games
Old Summer Sale was the shit. But the crybaby fraction that couldn't comprehend two simple rules destroyed it.
You literally only had two discounts. The permanent one and the flash sale one, if the game got one. Just wait
for the flash sale and if there is none, buy on the last day. It was that easy.
>glady eating spook cereals
I don't care about your pronouns, my penis doesn't see ""gender"".
Tomb Raider usually goes for 60% off most of the time.
Getting ready to buy some AAA games from 2017-2018 for about 1.5$ a piece.
Feels good to be Russian, especially a Muscovite that has a decent salary (1700$/month)
And it will never be on sale.
Won't be buying anything unless they bring back flash sales, which were the only reason I'd ever consider buying old games that I couldn't be bothered to play in the first place. Steam sales have been a fucking snoozefest for at least 7 years.
>bragging about your salary in anonymous internet message board
No one cares my friend. Seriously.
Investors and banks they owe.
I get more in Siberia.
Not even the peak for me, I just love my small cozy company.
bit low on money atm, probably won't buy anything except maybe FF7 if it goes for like 2 or 3 bucks
Last game I bought on Steam was probably 4 or 5 years ago. I get everything from gog now. I also have all the games I want (around 450 titles between Steam and GOG). All modern triple A titles I play on PS4 pro because I don't have many friends who own a gaming PC and consoles are just so comfy
I'm still waiting for more than 50% off on old games like Superhot and Rocket League. Will tomorrow be the day bros?
>a decent salary
>bragging
Sure buddy.
Just giving people information to allow them to put things into perspective by comparing the regional prices to salaries here.
Good for you, I hope you are not from Chukotka though, prices there are horrible even in comparison to Moscow
Yes. 55%, enjoy. Fuck Steam desu. I only pirate now. All game companies are shit.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider it's for $27 (70% off)
Should I, guise?
stop being poor
>dont want to buy games
>this must mean youre poor!
great logic there champ
Just so you know superhot is a $1 on xbox game pass for PC
I played it not too long ago and it was only like 2 hours long, was fun though
Just remember the golden rule, never buy something that can be easily pirated
So the only games people should buy are some Denuvo-infested, online-only pieces of trash from EA\Ubisoft?
I plan playing all the short games and Gears 5 through xbox game pass.
please
Can I get pirated Nier that works with FAR?
It's ok, if you really liked Rise
All jews deserve the rope, faggot.
ksp
hopefully zodiac age gets a good deal somewhere.
should've bought it at $18 when I had the chance.
Not too excited desu. I only want a few things and I'm sure some of them will either not go on sale or go on a real shitty sale so there won't be much point in it.
should i get far cry 4 or metal gear solid v?
i really like stealthy games but I'm more of a come-from-behind kind of guy, like the knife assassinations in fc3, i don't know if mgs does this thing too or if it's shooting from afar and avoiding enemies.
Imagine being afraid ofna well.known irl. I cant imagine being this big of a gucking retard holy hell. Im honestly amazed you can get to this website.
yo that's weebshit bro
Still too much, waiting for a 75% off tbqh
Considering it probably sold like shit I hope that is soon.
if i get a jewish girlfriend, how do i convince her not to circumcised our son?
You should get far cry 5
unpopular opinion but it's actually fun
going to buy new dawn on sale
Huge yikes
Sekiro
Cyberpunk
Hat in Time
My Friend Pedro
Maybe the serious sam collection
If Nier goes on sale i'll get it
Doom eternal maybe.
Maybe Bayonetta
and Planet Zoo
though I know i'll just buy whatever steam recommends me, last summer sale I got Cuphead, Bomber Crew, MGR, MGS5, and Stalker
I would consider it instead of 4 no questions asked but my pc won't be able to run that one most likely
Far Cry 5's setting is great, but the downgrades from 3 and 4 like with crafting suck, the planes have no weight and feel awful same with helicopters, and the story asks you to turn your brain off to enjoy it
it's still worth it if its more then half off
WHY WOULD CYBERPUNK BE ON SALE YOU STUPID FUCK
Why wouldn't it?
Wait a bit longer, you'll get it for 15$ within a year.
>thinking Activision will discount Sekiro more than what you can get on third party sites
laughing_whores.jpg
New Dawn just looks so shit though.
>FF7 for 2-3 bucks
Good luck with that summer child
lol
I dont think it's on sale, but I have my paycheck on Friday so why the fuck not?
I haven't bought a new triple A title in like 8 years.
Children of a dead earth for autistic space combat
GOD YOU ARE SO FUCKING STUPID!
WHY WOULD YOU WASTE $60 FOR A GAME THAT WON'T EVEN BE OUT UNTIL NEXT YEAR, YOU STUPID FUCK
I can't wait to buy more games to add to my backlog while I feel helplessly bored and like there's nothing to play!
I thought i wouldn't enjoy it but it kept appearing on sale so was like why not ?
I bought it on sale and i was pleasantly suprised, i only played 3 before
Cause fuck you thats why
What do you mean ? visually speaking or gameplay because that's just more of the same
i kind of like how it looks post-apocalypse and all
I HOPE YOUR CAR BREAKS DOWN
Not that user but I'm geniuenly curious why. You have to wait for a paycheck to buy games, why would you drop it on something that you would not be able to play for a year?
I guess the real issue is that they made the same game three plus times.
Because I get 1,500 a paycheck, and my house is paid off and i'm doing payments on my car. I genuinely have nothing that I want to play this year besides the games I listed, so why not buy Cyberpunk so I can experience it the moment it comes out?
please respond
>yfw flash sales return
>Is your wallet ready for tomorrow?
no
Jesus Christ what is that thing.
Also, The Last Remnant had a rerelease some time ago, no?
No__________________
I bought DS3 from CDkeys two years ago and haven't suffered for it.
It's a cheeseburger with grilled cheeses for buns
holy shit that looks so good, give me three
Hoping flight simulator x is on sale tomorrow so my little sister cna try it out.
I don't know what their names are but I hope they return, their cute as fuck and I love them
anyone wants these 2 in exchenge for some 5-7 bucks game i might want during the sale?
Live in a 3rd world shithole and the prices are insanely low for a country were imports are so expensive that you have to give away your child for organ traffic
all they have to do is copy gog's flash sale system
>games that can be chosen for flash sales aren't on sale initially
>flash sales last for 24 hours
>after the flash sale ends, they remain on sale for the rest of the event at a lower discount
So Game X for 30 dollars stays at 30 dollars during the sale, drops down to 5 dollars during flash sale, then stays at 10 dollars until the rest of the sale?
>And they don't charge tax
I've been wondering which stores still don't charge tax. I found out that Steam does a few months ago, but I haven't had a chance to try GoG, GMG, Gamesplanet, or Fanatical yet.
something like that yes
gog only had 6 games for flash sales on at a time during their summer sale just a few weeks ago so steam could do more at once if they wanted to since their library is larger
There are over 100 games on my wishlist but only 3~ of those I'd be excited to play.
Steam just doesn't do it for me anymore, bros.
Does G2A and friends charge tax? Seems like a good reason to use them.
>tomorrow
Bring back flash sales and daily deals.
Make fun events that aren't crafting cards or spending money to get tokens.
>Bring back flash sales and daily deals.
"no"
enjoy your 30% off faggot
Cuck.
how long is this going to last?
I always hated these because it's a practice designed only to trick people into spending money because "The deal is good and I might not get it again!" And it was annoying having to wait days for the ones I missed to be up again.
The REAL good deals were already going out of fashion before the flash sales. The last killer Steam sale I remember is the winter sale of 2009.
Please let RE2 drop below $20. Please steam. I'm not paying more for a 9 hour game
2 weeks
It only came out this year, $40 at best.
>missed an 8 hour long deal
i don't get that, you had 8 hours to get a flash deal. you can have email alerts set up even. "oh but i'm sleeping, oh but i'm working", wake up and get on your phone then and make the transaction.
>$60 game that came out like 4 months ago
not gonna happen dude
I’m buying Mario Maker friday and there is not much that I want from Steam that I don’t already own. I will probably just grab some neat indies for cheap.
I bought a key for $32 on G2A
Really enjoying it.
>A week or two of discounts that doesn't change at all
and thats a good thing
I don't like companies spamming me with bullshit and sometimes I'm too distracted or busy to really check Steam.
>People crying because discounts are static
I don't understand consumer whores.
there is literally a dude in this thread who wants his phone to vibrate at 3AM so he can jump up and buy a video game
lmao
how many hours Yea Forumsro's?
they wouldn't even buy them at $20. I got a friend that is always "waiting until it's $5", hasn't bought a game in like 6 years.
over 9000
Friendly reminder to never pay more than $20 for a video game.
19 hours once the new hour starts
I don't know user, it can be much cheaper even for weeb shit. It's a way to get sale prices long after a sale has finished.
fuck I thought directly after 00:00
Do you really not remember flash sales? It was pretty normal to get 70% off and even 80% off wasn't unheard of. It was a short amount of time so they could afford to swing that sort of discount
bro the steam dude updates on the same time every single day
My entire friend group except for me is like this.
They are all engineers, they all make great salaries, but they refuse to spend more than $5 on computer games.
So I never end up buying any games over $5 either, it's a vicious cycle because there is no reason for ME to buy a game unless everyone else does, and nobody will buy a game that isn't in a bundle or almost free.
allkeyshop/G2A are your traditional grey market 1% chance for keys to be from stolen credit cards. Fanatical is a legit key reseller and sometimes has okay deals. I have bought probably 10+games from allkeyshop/G2A and like 3 from fantical. I've never had a key taken from me or my details given away. If you were ever really spooked about that you could just use paypal.
which steam dude
>They are all engineers, they all make great salaries, but they refuse to spend more than $5 on computer games.
That's why. Yea Forums fallacy of thinking having more money makes you want to spend it. Wrong fuckers, keeping your money makes you into an even bigger jew than you thought possible
the steam store
fuck
it's like 10AM where Gabe lives same time every day
Because Yea Forums is all NEETs who spend their monthly tugboat as soon as it comes in.
I spend like 10k/year and have hundreds of thousands in investments. I basically just pay property tax, insurance, and food at this point.
Last time I bought more than one game during the summer sale was in 2014.
>Taking stupid shit an old adventure game said seriously
Nailed it.
thank god I get paid on the 5th
I buy gog when I can over steam
bro it's a silly easter egg in a 30 year old video game
that's almost 40 dollars in today money
>MK
I just really can't justify buying half a game when a fucking goty version comes out later, plus I'm not a fan with how the art direction went, not even talking about boobs, it just looks like injustice skins inserted into MK
I mean if you're planning to get mk11 it's only 17%, nothing amusing
