80 (small purple enemies), 145(Hammers), 212 (bombs). 282(hammers) and 348 (bullets)
Doing sleepy Rin runs to try and figure out the 220k rotation and I already know this will take me the whole day. Wish me luck.

You should play Rhythm Thief, Space Channel 5, Harmoknight and Elite Beat Agents. All solid rhythm game picks. If you don't mind Japanese, give Cool Cool Toon a try as well. Make sure to play the rest of the Rhythm Heaven games (Silver, Megamix, Fever)

Not sure what you're looking for in a Rhythm game since Project Diva and Gitaroo Man are two different types of games but if you enjoy the feeling of pressing buttons correctly in rhythm, then I'd say those are good starting points.

duplicate rankings extend the amount of people getting a reward in a bracket. Since like a billion people all have the same scores, you only need to be in like the top 80 to be part of the top 20

It's not that bad, right now only the top 80-100 could potentially count as the top 20. That number is going to be much smaller for the harder competitions since the current song is pretty easy to get 100% accuracy in (and likely they might pick DLC songs too)

Does anyone know how the scoring mechanics work in depth? I really want to crack the 219984 barrier.

So I bought it on Switch and played like two hours of it. How do you hit notes which are super close to each other? Those which show up on difficulties 6+. I play on a pad and it seems like to hit that I would need two fingers on same lane, but my brain is melting when I try to focus on anything more than trigger for each lane. How do you setup your controls to hit those? Is it easier to play on a touchscreen?

I love playing rythm games, but god damn it I feel like such a casual and scrub at them.

The fever calculations go as follow: 675 for a small enemy, 900 for a big one. 810 for a boss attack (not the multi hits), hammers and barriers are the same as big enemies.
Dodging a saw is a net 200, same as picking up notes, fever doesn't affect them.
Your fever will recharge in around, 75 perfect hits I think? haven't made the exact count, big enemies count as 2 hits.
Fever lasts 5 seconds.

starts off incredibly easy, but already level 17 or so and can see the difficulty getting to some autism levels, mostly play Miku games,some Taiko, and Groove Coaster. The Persona "rhythm" games are dogshit and should be avoided at all cost.
