Had a terrible almost non-existent villain so they make up for it in the sequel

i hope so. and i think so, too. redead ganon gives me a boner

That's every fucking Ganon

>first playthru
>time to fight Ganon
>spend an hour or two hunting Lynels to get their weapons
>guess I better save these for Ganon, don't wanna waste all this powerful shit on Moblins
>so I decide to hack my way thru Hyrule Castle with the Master Sword
>Master Sword "breaks" right before Ganon's room
>just as planned, gonna break out my best gear on this guy
>but after Ganon's cutscene, the Master Sword regains power
>end up just using the Master Sword on Ganon the entire fight, forgot to change to any of the powerful Lynel gear I acquired
Being an item hoarder is suffering.

the game was way too afraid to upset or trigger a player that may not be as experienced. so it posed these awesome challenges, but then watered them down to basically not being challenges. still a great game tho

Master Mode Trial of the Sword

Buying the ancient weapons is a fucking scam and nothing more. You're better off dicking around aimlessly in Hyrule Castle to find good shit.

yea and every ganon gives me a boner

Get outta town.

>that one area in Hebra near the maze that has like 5 lynels all within a few hundred yards of each other
God damn this area needs to chill and fuck out

>chill and fuck out

why is that so funny

How do the Rijufriends cope with knowing that she is culturally bound to submit to Ganondorf's cock for impregnation?

I hated this so much. I accidentally fell down into the trigger room for the final fight of the game, and I decided 'fuck it' may as well see if I can beat him. I pushed his shit in so hard that he needed to let fucking loose. I was like 'shit's getting real'. Then the game did one of the things that I despise in any game Zelda or otherwise. You get a new weapon only for use in this battle against this form. And the game also gave me a fucking horse that I didn't have. I had one horse for about twenty minutes, and he was theskeleton horse, and the game doesn't allow you to keep it. After beating him I didn't pick the game up again.

>calamity ganon bad because calamity ganon easy
The ocarina of time fight was also shit, then.

Gerudo actually turned from making men their king to completely banning men from their city. Notice how they now leave to find mates and those men aren't allowed into Gerudo Town, where as in OoT they kidnap men and bring them back to their fort.

So likely if Ganondorf comes back they'll be very much against him.

Attached: 1560877396818.png (1280x1280, 2.42M)

I don't actually mind the boar part even though it's lame that it poses no real threat. It's still a huge spectacle and essentially your victory lap after you've already won.
It's just ruined because the actual boss fight prior to this part was underwhelming as fuck too.

BotW was incredibly rushed.
I'm desperately hoping that the sequel fulfills its potential.

Gossip Stone at Temple of Time in OOT says they come to town to find boyfriends, i.e. to get a bun in the oven and scoot.

After reading this I wonder if they kill the male that's born every 100 years.

I think the game hyped him to be some eldritch like monster and he turned out no different from any other ganon fight. Overall I wish I never finished the game since it put me off a game I've been playing for like 2 years.

I think it's more implied that since Ganondorf was born, there haven't been any male Gerudo born. In a world with actual real gods and magic, it seems more likely than mass infanticide.

BTW, Riju has a booster seat on the throne.

Attached: Gerudo Booster Seat.jpg (1024x581, 43K)

nowhere in his post did he make that correlation. where exactly are you getting that from?

I have like 10 of those lynel bows that shoot five arrows at once and I never use them.

>Ganondorf keeps getting revived over and over again
How? In both WW and TP he is permanently killed. Dead. Not sealed. That's the end of Ganondorf. Some other individual bearing Demises' hatred would need to be born to bring Ganon back into the world.

That's what "revived" means. Y'know, brought back from the dead.

Ganon dies in the NES Zelda game and in Zelda II his minions are trying to kill Link to get his blood to resurrect him.

So in theory any time he's killed but comes back in a game later on, it's because Ganon's minions managed to use Link's blood to bring him back.

>get granted a wellspring of divine power by the golden goddesses
>are repeatedly btfo by some random farm boy with no divine backing at all
Is the Triforce of Power a scam?

Triforce of Hubris

kek, the Lynels are harder than any of the boss fights

I would love to see Ganondorf walk into Gerudo town and the Gerudo bitches don't dare to deny his entrance. Except for one, but Ganondorf pauses and looks at her for a moment before backhanding her and sending her several feet across the plaza, and warns her that if she ever disobeys him again he will send to her to the gap between dimensions. He walks directly into the throne room, sits on the chair, and claims himself as chief. Riju throws a fit, but Ganondorf silences her by yelling doriyah so loudly that thunder strikes the desert behind them. He announces that he is now her mentor. His first plan of action is ordering his Gerudo soldiers to seek out all the Gerudo whores who have left town to find Hylian boyfriends and bring them back to receive 7 lashes as punishment, because they are not permitted to mate with anyone other than their own kind.

>the thought process behind your average Ganondorf main
Cringe

Take it easy, will ya

Keep your fetishes to porn.

Attached: Riju Link Small.jpg (850x832, 152K)

The game was essentially you beating up phantom Ganons so I feel like the big pig going up in smoke like it was never a threat to begin with is fitting.

Because that's exactly the case... It was a bait and switch. Looking forward to botw2

>he still doesn't know it was just a decoy to make link and zelda think they'd won
BOTW2 is gonna be insane.

At the end of BOTW they say that Ganon has abandoned the idea of reincarnation, and then he still is killed. Isn't this the end? How is a sequel even possible?

>thinks the translations are canon
bad translation. the japanese version doesn't say this.

Then what does the JP version say?

who do you main faggot, probably some gay shit

In BotW Zelda is holding him captive in a way, and he's trying to force himself to revive. At the end of the game, he abandons that plan and just unleashes to fight them, and ends up being defeated.

So it seems likely that the Ganondorf mummy we see is the withered remains of Ganondorf's body that he was trying to leave behind to become Calamity Ganon.

Attached: 1561050974543.jpg (500x778, 101K)

Well, if you wanna get technical, Ganondorf was only reincarnated once, in Four Swords Adventures. Every Ganondorf barring that one is the same Ganondorf from OOT, just revived or busted out of a seal. Like fuck, in the BOTW 2 teaser we see his body is still there, that shit ain't over until his bones are dust.

almost, but not quite, the complete opposite of the english version

legendsoflocalization.com/breath-of-the-wilds-ganon-in-english-japanese/

Even mistranslated, why would you assume that only means he's done reincarnating for good. He was trying to regain his physical form, Link interrupted, so he gave up and turned into a giant malice boar to kill him/destroy Hyrule. Then at the end Zelda says "although Ganon is gone for now."

Wow that's a garbage localization, how was this allowed? Can't they patch that out or something?

The english translation you're referring to says
>He has given up on reincarnation and assumed his pure, enraged form.

But the original japanese says
>This form was born from his obsessive refusal to give up on revival...

Given what we've seen in the BOTW2 trailer, it looks like ganon gave them *something* - *anything* to fight, so they would defeat it and leave him alone to gain strength.

They also happen to be great fights by themselves

It's quite possible, given the US is a *much* bigger market for Zelda than Japan, that the english version and japanese versions were both developed as the game was being written so at one time it was an accurate translation, then the japanese version got changed to its current text and the translators missed this in the change logs.

No human Ganondorf.

They fucked up.

you now realize "breath of the wild" meant the malice/怨念 (breath) that exuded from "the wild" (ganoncorpse)

Attached: 1498592730806.jpg (1920x1080, 595K)

Given that the sequel originated as DLC ideas, its likely that he was going to be in BotW DLC.

sounds episodic

Reminder: Ganon is gone "for now".

Attached: for-now-e.jpg (1280x720, 76K)

Nintendo legitimately needs to burn down Treehouse and start over.

The bow is very good because it’s 100% accurate

not canon

>not canon
Why?

why what
treehouse is not canon

So what you're saying is you didn't get the true ending. Gotcha.

what the fuck are you even trying to say you schizophrenic slut

You didn't get the true ending. There's more to it if you collect all the memories. That's what that scene is from. It's in the game.

Attached: 1561011682869.jpg (850x523, 336K)

it's not in the actual game THOUGH, it's in the treehouse version

>muh epic 1v1 sword duel

better than muh epic glorified shooting range

Except it is. Beat all four Divine Beasts, finish all main story missions, and get all the memories and you unlock the true ending.

mouth-breather

The Ancient Bow is the best in the game, and well worth it. Bladesaw is pretty good for damage/durability ratio, but other than that, just stick to guardian and lynel weapons.

Oooh, you're just stupid.

Attached: kaiwaganaritatanai.jpg (300x393, 35K)

>because they are not permitted to mate with anyone other than their own kind
oh you cheeky fuck

Attached: milesobrien.png (375x325, 125K)

Nah you're dumb and don't get it. Not him btw.

I used those all the time to bombard the fuck out of everything. I killed those FUCKHUEG sand things before they hit the ground.
> Stand on high platform
> Lure Beast with bomb
> It gulps down on it and jumps up
> Detonate bomb and jump off
> Bombard the thing to death in slowmo
Fucking love those bows with bomb arrows

They swung and they missed, sure. Calamity Ganon gets infantilized if you bother doing the game's content, and Beast Ganon is a an easier version of OoT's Horseback Archery Game. There's no "I'll have to pull out all of the stops" moment, which is a shame and kind of wet fart at the end of a long adventure.

But at the end of the day, they had a concept for this iteration of Ganon and stuck to it: an abomination that's poisoning the very earth simply by existing, a true god to the monsters of the world. I think I respect that a lot more than I would Ganondorf showing up at the end and going, "mwahaha, it was me" for the fourth time. (fifth if you want to be mean and include proto-Ganon) That's happening next game anyway.

The beast Ganon is resurrected in Four Swords Adventures which takes place after Twilight Princess.

Attached: 1560778354161.gif (500x500, 539K)

That shit wasn't even Ganon. Malice is just Ganondorf's pure hatred and evil seeping out of his mummified and "sealed" body.

Well la-dee-da Mr. MatthewMatosis.

Execution matters a lot more than concept. Having "respect" for botched content is pretty retarded.

Is this copypasta

yoooooo

brain hurt

when there was a item duping exploit with the dlcs i just exploited the hylian shield and a bunch of op weapons and seeds just to fill them and i still havent break any of them

It still bugs me that if you get a Hylian shield with a special ability, you'll never be able to get another with an ability, since store bought items can't have them.

Attached: 1540129368885.jpg (700x913, 131K)

i can actually kinda see this.

the trailer seems to imply that redead ganon shot malice into the cave ceiling to knock link off the platform he was standing on, so as to compel the green hand to go and save link, thus moving away from ganon’s chest, and thus allowing ganon to be free once again.

i love ganon’s cunning for deception and manipulation throughout the series.

OP here.

i absolutely love the game.

i even loved Calamity’s spidey form.

but the pig just... didnt click with me.

i definitely didnt make this thread with the intent of roasting the game as a whole.

>Four Swords Adventures which takes place after Twilight Princess.
Lol what? Did they just run out of logical places to put the games so they started shoving them into random places?

so youre saying we shouldnt ever trust any text in an american translation as canon.

well...... sure. guess we gotta check out the japanese one then.

That’s basically the entirety of the “official” Zelda Timeline put out by Nintendo.

he's an obsessed shitposter, he spends his entire day on Yea Forums waiting to post that pic

The timeline is basically a fan-made theory that Nintendo signed the "looks good" on and put in the book.

>obsessed
>spends his entire day on Yea Forums waiting to post that pic
nah I really don't care one way or the other desu
>shitposter
yes, absolutely. Who here isn't?

yes? russian version could be saying princess zelda is a dickgirl for all I know, it's inconsequential
if it's not in the original in some form, it's not canon

shes not?

is it possible to kill ganon right when you leave the plateau?

yes

Agreed, loved the whole game including the first fight but this was such a disappointment, mightve been redeemed if there was a third from tho

>75
I thought it had a base stat of 90 defense

this.

also if the four divine beasts hopped into hyrule field and duked it out with the pig ganon alongside you
