How did he become the new face of Nintendo staff? He's not even a prolific director. He's only worked as producer and some other small jobs.
How did he become the new face of Nintendo staff? He's not even a prolific director...
producers are the ones with power at Nintendo. Do you know who the director of BotW and Metroid Prime are? Probably not, but you know their producers Eiji Aonuma and Kensuke Tanabe
He is the new Miyamoto
Doug is the new Reggie
and Furukawa is the new Iwata
The new Nintendo Trio.
Who's Nogami replacing?
He's been working on Mario and Zelda games since the '90s, including some of the best ones
Miyamoto and Aonuma are mainly producers too.
>Co-Directed and wrote Majora's Mask's story
>Directed Super Mario Galaxy
Looks he has iguana eyes
Japanese Willem Dafoe
>Furukawa is the new Iwata
Maybe if we ever saw the fucker. Does he not speak English?
When will this hack make a sequel to DK Jungle Beat?
He's fluent in it apparently
>Involved in creating the lock-on targetting we all know of today
>Directed Majora's Mask alongside Aonuma and came up with the basis of its dark story and all of Termina's inhabitants
>Directed Super Mario Galaxy, one of the highest-rated games of all time
>Always pushes for more story in Mario and Zelda games
He earned it. He is Miyamoto's successor.
He's the only one who knows how to make 10/10 zeldas
>Super Mario 64 (1996) - Assistant Director, 3D Animator
>The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998) - 3D System Director / Character Design
>The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (2000) - Game System Director
>Super Mario Sunshine (2002) - Director
>The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (2002) - Assistant Director
>Super Mario Galaxy (2007) - Director & Game Design
He had an important role in a lot of Nintendo's best Mario and Zelda games, and that's not including the games where he was the producer. What the fuck are you talking about?
The dude speaks perfect english, I don't know why he hasn't made any sort of public apperance.
>"... in time, you'll know what is like to play kino..."
based
He used to be a good developer. Mediocrity like 3D World and Odyssey show that's he's washed up now.
he was producer on those, not director
3d world was great though.
Is he a Yakuza ? I mean...Seriously ?
He's not his successor, he's his adversary. Miyamoto pushes for babyshit games and Koizumi fights him for more story and in-depth games.
He was literally his protege.
>user still mad that Miyamoto made the right call curbing the shitty storybook from Mario Galaxy 2
Koizumi learned that extaneous story elements that don't enhance the experience have no place in some games. He in no way pushes story where it doesn't belong anymore.
>in-depth games
lel and yet it was Miyamoto who complained that Galaxy was too fucking easy during development
are you seriously trying to push a rivalry between miyamoto and koizuki?
