3d games that play better with a dpad instead of a stick?

Hard mode: no fighting games.

Need for Speed II

Outside of side scrollers and movie games, pretty much nothing.

Wipeout

Crash

I always used it in racing games, like Gran Turismo 2. I even did it all through the PS2.

I would just tap it lightly when making slight corners then hold it when making hairpins. Felt way more responsive than a stick.

Tony Hawk

Crash Team Racing

MGS1

crash bandicoot

Crash 1

Tomb Raider.

Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo DS Lite

Mega Man Legends/Legends II.
They gave us proper analog control in the second one and dpad is still much more comfortable.

kula world
crash bandicoot
no one can stop mr domino
irritating stick

Any game with tank controls

Resident Evil

croc: legend of the gobbos

MegaMan Legends doesn't even let you use the analog stick. And when you do, you still have to use the bumpers to turn/strafe. Its not optimal but after awhile playing the game, it doesn't seem restricting. You aren't fast but you never feel restricted.

"You can do everything you need to do".
- some faggot

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Sony niggers in complete denial. Your controller is shit and you know it. The analog sticks were slapped on there at the last minute after the N64 came out.

Resident Evil games before 4.

Any Mario kart except for 64 and DD

Spyro
