I forget what it was called but I liked that spaceship game where you travel through various levels, not sure if you had a laser (weapon) or not, and it was hosted on miniclip.

I didn't discover A Triangle Morning's games until the early 2010's, but they're all so wonderful. Although the tone is extremely different, they sort of remind me of Yume Nikki, in the sense where there's so much joy to be found in just poking around, rather than progressing towards some concrete goal.

Battle system has gotten many changes and improvements but is still familiar coming from 4. The graphics/animations/sounds have been redone with no more re-used shit. story is a reboot with the characters meeting each other for the first time. Finally, almost all monsters can be captured and used as summons now.

How did flash manage to be so kino?

one thing I would always miss about classic flash games is the dark setting that was like a cross between cyberpunk and urban noir like pic related, sift heads, tactical assassin, etc. Is it just cause the matrix just came out at that time, or more of just the overall internet culture at the time? The Matrix was an extremely heavy influence of the culture of the mid 2000s alongside emo and goth styles being very trendy. People were also a lot more genuine and optimistic back then, so it blended well and took itself seriously rather than just being a self refferencial "lol so edgy" piece of shit.

Wich is why Arc Eternal added a couple of twists to the main campaign maps, sometimes a super weapon that launches creepers appear and you have less than 10 minutes or the ore is being mined by drones you can't attack and you have a small time frame to quickly control the creeper on your space island to attack or the final level.

On hardest difficulty, it's not the best option tho. Every level requires another tactics on this difficulty.

Never finished Sonny 2 like the first one, i got stuck on some radroach witih HIGH evasion and high defenses and a skill that fully heals it, any tips for that one "boss"? also.
One thing that bothered me about the first game is how much time it took to get another companion and how it gives you the idea of getting a third one but surprise the new guy you get is the final boss and now you have to kill him also i loved fighting against those named special forces because their armor looked cool but the drop chance was either so small or fixed so you get 2 pieces.
