I want to build a base like a house in Sims.
Also strategoic layer that is more involved than spamming satelites or choosing branches to which region contact first.
Tactical layer can stay the same as is Jake, focus development on something else

I hate the big War of the Chosen update or whatever.
The other factions ruin it for me. I'd rather see XCOM expanded and have more administrative strategy rather than the other weird edgy factions.
I hope XCOM 3 gives more flavour and content to the Administration side of XCOM alongside the combat.

What the deal with XPiratez ? To be fair, I kind of hate, it in terms of UFO spam and enemy spam. I like that the amount of tools that mod is give you but you need SO MUCH time to at least have something decent in this mod

if you have a reaper with banish and weapon upgrades its pretty much guaranteed to kill them or at least make them fuck off

Not at all, you can raid reticulans and take all their plasma weapons, or do one of those organ trafficking and be full of magnums and blunderbusses (which are great guns that stand up for a long time)
