Sorry to burst your bubble, but fasting is one of the least effective ways of losing weight.
When you stop feeding yourself a sufficient amount of food, your body goes into "hunger" mode, where it burns less fat off naturally to prevent yourself from dying from starvation as long as possible. It will basically stay in this mode until you eat enough that your body gains it's weight back.

In other words, if you just lose weight by starving yourself, eating anything will just gain that weight right back afterwards. If you absolutely must lose weight as quickly as possible, try going on a Keto diet, where you at least won't have to starve yourself. You'll need to lay off on any carbs though (bread, pasta, sweets, etc).

Sugar is in everything. A calorie isn't some magical number that dictates whether or not you'll be healthy. There are so many things wrong with diets these days because the information is incredibly difficult to locate by normal means. We pour so much money into misinforming people on diets to the point where people become fat as a standard in the US without really trying.

What you eat dictates a number of things, such as clarity of thought. Sugar is in everything and I wouldn't recommend actively drinking it. This user is correct in his assertion that you should probably drink soda at that point however. He doesn't adequately explain what he means, but there are numerous tea drinks in stores that rival soda in the sugar content. These go unnoticed usually because they usually have something like 3-4 servings per container. You would be amazed at the lengths people will go to justify bad health habits. "Tea is healthy, and this drink has just 15g of sugar per serving!" They'll drink the whole four servings and feel better that atleast they didn't drink a cola.
