Alleycat
Probably Boxhead if we’re counting those kinds of games.
If not then Lego Stunt Rally
Monkey Island. Although I think Claw actually was the second one. Don't think I ever finished it.
DEBILUCHO
Blues Brothers
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Lego Loco
a 3d egyptian styled shooter from the 80s. i really forgot its name but i think it had scarab in it. you either played gods from the egyptian pantheon or some sort of weird mechs that represent them. its been so fucking long that i actually forgot it

Do you remember that pure amazmenent when first time seeing a video game? That feel when steering seems hard as fuck but it's all so captivating you push buttons and things happen on a screen
The first videogame I ever got was a Gameboy color with Pokémon blue. I had only ever seen games played on television so as soon as I turned it on I just started wildly pressing all the buttons because that's how I thought you were supposed to play them
classicreload.com
This shit right here
F15 strike eagles 3.
Some game where you had to destroy submarines with depth charges.
I miss the wonder wandering, just walking around completely amazed at what the fuck is going. Just going through a door was an adventure.
exactly the game you posted OP Claw was amazing
pajama sam i think
It really confused 6 year old me, like what the fuck this isn't a movie, this isn't a cartoon, do these people really live there? Is this another dimension? How can you control a screen like that?
Some educational game on an acorn computer, everyone from the class got to take a few turns over the school year
yeah boi
MechWarriors
Does anyone remember this shit? I was only like 9 when I played it but retrospectively the strategic and tactical layers of it were pretty cool for a 1996 game, and the whole "choose which weapon(s) to use and they change the effect of your attacks" thing was neat.
My dad used to play a fuckton of games back then and sometimes let me play for a couple minutes so I'm not sure which was the very first game I ever played. Pic related is probably the first game I actually spent a considerable amount of time playing.
RTCW
My first REAL game was starcraft though
either claw, jazz jackrabbit or baldurs gate.
Looks great for 96 game, hell I'd play it right now
it was Daytona or some demo from some magazine's disk
digger, I also played captain claw, sadly looks like its pretty unknown here
Starsiege
>back when hooking up a console to a TV was a HUGE fuckin deal
some platformer about dwarves, no idea what it was called
Reader rabbit
Holy shit OP, Claw was one of the first games I remember playing.
I also remember needing cheats to beat the last level but in my defense I was fairly young back then.
Either Donkey Kong or pitfall
diablo 2 at a netcafe
unfortunately it's one of those oldies that literally will not work on a non-32-bit system.
Allegedly a fix exists:
classicgamefixes.wixsite.com
But I never get it to work.

Lol your first sentient moment
Oregon trail
FUCK THIS GAME AAAAA
101 dalmatians point and click game probably or putput/freddy fish
Pretty sure it was Hocus Pocus. That or some side scrolling platformer thing where you play as a caveman. No idea what it was called because the executable was just labeled "Start.exe" and I don't remember seeing a title screen or floppy for it. But Captain Claw was definitely in the first 5 games I remember playing, along with Jazz Jackrabbit and some flight game where you could circle the planet if you flew towards the horizon long enough. (not sure why but I thought that was impressive at the time)
I loved this game.
Quake
my uncle had put shareware version on grandma's 486 computer
playing with arrow keys was impossible for me. also the game was scary for a five year old kid. exciting, though.
This is now an obscure game thread.
I thought it said titties the fox
Can download Claw in Abandonware
>what's up everybody it's Cr1TiKaL
Pizza to Go for the Apple II

Centapeed
I don't know probably something like Chips Challenge.
>that one time Disney furrified Master and Commander and put them in space
Got the demo of a happy meal and begged my dad for the full game when I finished. He saw "disney" and thought it was just a kid's game. He watched me play it and was surprised to see his son experience his first war drama. Still let me finish, and it got me to watch the actual movie.
Thinking back on it, they could've made a fullblown sequel out of this.
Also the first game I ever played
Ronja Rövardotter?
was it any good?
Doom and I wish it was the last. Most every PC game I've played in my tenure as a PC gamer has been utter shit. The platform has never been good.
Or maybe Rodents Revenge. These are the only "games" they had on the computers at school until I had a cool teacher that had Warcraft 2 on the class PC.
Duke Nukem 3D when I was 4 or so, my mind was horrified by the flying aliens so bad, my mind removed the game existence until I replayed it my mistake again.
My earliest gaming memory is running around this fucker stepping on buttons. I was 5-6 back then.
Later I played some Duke Nukem 3D and C&C Tiberian Sun. It was super comfy.
Ever played? Oof that’d be hard to recall. My fondest childhood PC memories were of Sam & Max Hit the Road, Day of the Tentacle, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Half Life 1 and Opposing Force, The Sims 1, and Nox
This series is still my favorite time travel themed games made
I was a pleb who had to play local compilations of demos, shareware and freeware from "Ediciones Top Multimedia". The earliest proper game I've played (which I can remember) was Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive", a budget release in a retail store.
youtube.com
I use to go to a youth center that had Age of Empires 2, Sonic 2, and Mech Warrior though
I NEVER MET A PIZZA I DIDN’T LIKE
The Witcher 1. I got it on sale for 5 bucks. Prob the most fun I ever had.
Wacky Racers (shitty Mario Kart clone)
Some racing game from '03-'04 back when I was 5 or so
I had all of these when i was a kid. the atlantis one was probably my favorite but it always had issues running on my computer at the time.
Pic related
This was the shit
I remember thinking the deluxe edition which I got a couple of years later was bootleg because all the vehicles went from having irl names to made up brands
Some Reader Rabbit game on DOS
sir i do love that pepe image
On PC in general or on my first PC?
The first one was Duke Nukem 3D, the latter was the Settlers III Demo.
Years latter I played the game irl. Fun times
It was either some Busytown point and click game or Roller coaster Tycoon
F29 Retaliator
Some Carmen Sandiego game on this pos.
MAKE ME A PIZZA
Never mind, I played on cyber cafes Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
A drawing game on MSDOS when i was 3 years old.
age of empires, good times good times
this motherfucker
very nice
I don't remember, it was some shitty DOS game involving a marble and power ups. I think it might've been a puzzle game.
Fate
delta force. it was kino.
Wait now that I think about it here was one of the earlier games I played in school. Not including the mouse maze game.
Heroes of Might and Magic 1 and Tyrian
This old indiana jones point and click, it might've been atlantis I think?
jesus.. probably something like.. a2 racer? redcat? jazzjack rabbit? duke nukem? tomb raider 1?
Lemmings, some kind of helicopter simulator and Prehistoric 2 on my cousin's Windows 3.1 computer.
Probably
Jump Start First grade youtube.com
Along with reader rabbit interactive reading journey 1 & 2 and The busy town Richard Scarry youtube.com
Goddamn Richard scarry is probably why I have such a nostalgia for old midi/soundblaster soundtracks.
Any boomer who remembers this?
Pretty fun when I played it 15 years ago.
Daggerfall
Under a killing moon or Terminal Velocity
Sid Meier's Colonization
probably some 80's DOS arcade port or something
I just remember getting a Win95 computer and seeing a game with CGA graphics where the objective was to shoot down bombers that were trying to destroy a city
Could also have been Doom. Some DOS game.
probably some blues clues or mr potato head game
Probably one of those Carmen Sandiego PC games in the 90s
Catacombs 3D is the earliest whose name I can remember.
>those death scenes in World War
is that the fucking nesquick bunny?
Wasn't my first game but this was good.
For PC, Red Alert.
I was always an Amiga kid.
earliest I can remember
Moorhuhn
Close Combat 2: Bridge Too Far
Played it again recently. Aged like fine fucking wine.
These were the fucking shit. They don't make edutainment games like they used to, no sir. I always was fucking hyped to play this.
Need for Speed III
I can barely remember anything except sweating bullets while being chased by police. That tire popping is honestly the scariest vidya experience I've ever had. Is the game actually decent? Might give it a go for nostalgia
Pinball Dreams
Incoming or Uprising: Join or die
Unreal
the 1st thing i played was a demo of carmaggedon that came with some comic book
But the first full game i played was carnivores 2 and wasnt a pirated copy but an original one , it was quite a good game but my PC could not handle it and runned in like 15fps with some fps drops.
Also the 1st game i messed with , got into the folder and started messing around until i got unlimited ammo and infinite hp + flying all in such a young age.
i replayed a year ago and have seen how shitty it actually was.
Some primitive pre-installed games on my dad's old Macintosh. I only have vague memories, one of them was a top down game with cartoony monsters that ate you and stuff. Anyone have an idea what I'm talking about?
