I actually prefer synopsis and analysis of games rather than reviews. I want to see someone else's opinion on things and what they believed the game's true meaning was.

Most of the stuff I make isn't really about me, but about the things I like or care about. Sometimes I'll make some stupid live action thing for fun but that's just too celebrate how much I loved the thing. I guess it's all about passion. Everyone gets roasted from time to time but as long as I cared about the video I made, I will remain confident in its strengths and honest about its failures. Nothing they say could really influence that.

There's a certain disconnect between myself as a person and the more creative stuff I make because I don't want to ruin the creative vision of the project. It doesn't always translate to being friendly to growing my brand because the videos can feel distinct from me. It's a hard balance to strike.

If I ever met you at a con or something I would be honored to do so. Maybe someday.

Actors sell people on their acting--their display and delivery of emotion--so it's easy for people to become so enamored with them, and for those relationships, though through a screen, to feel personal. Put actors in a video game (even if a much more nuanced medium), and it's easier to sell to people if not at least sell more copies.

Actually, I can't really relate to this. I tend to be impatient and watch videos at double speed unless their content is worth savoring. I do spend more time actually playing and only will rely on videos for things I'll never get to play or to learn something.
