/floaters/

>permanent shit flying all over your vision 24/7
Who knew wasting thousands of hours staring at a screen and playing video games actually had consequences? Visual snow bros also welcome.

floaters are not caused by staring at a screen.

The proteins in your vitrous fluid are clumping together due to dehydration.

Drink some damn water.

These have nothing to do with screens, I have had them for my entire life.

video games

drink like 2 litres a day and still see them. Dehydration ain’t it my dude.

man fuck visual snow, i've had this shit for 80% of my life

>drink like 2 litres a day and still see them.
drink 2 liters of water, not coke or sweet tea, fatass

and get a good night sleep

not strictly due to dehydration, this shit just happens
It's called getting old

Had them since I was 17. Except mine are dark cobwebs that move across my entire FoV.

>No cure
>Except sucking the fluid out of your eyeball with a hose, potentially making them worse
>Zapping your eyes, potentially damaging them with a 20% success rate laser made by pajeets

I would give my life savings for better treatment options.

I got vitreomacular traction once. the vitreous sack detached from my eye and was pulling at my macula, which made me functionally blind in one eye.
I could not see detail, only the periphery of things. So faces were a grey blob, for example, and reading with that eye was impossible.

It finally detached completely after about a week. Boy was I happy that happened.

Love these 2006 Yea Forums tier threads popping up every now and then.

I dunno, had them when i was younger but not anymore

>complaining about visual snow.

having a permanent film-grain filter seems comfy as fuck.

I dont have this kind of visual snow, they're more like small electric sparkles everywhere from time to time

you brain filters them out anyway

i hope someday i can get better eyes

Get glasses fag

diabetic neuropathy
stop drinking mountain dew and lose some weight before you go blind

I only drink water

Fucking retard. I drink shit tons of nothing but water daily and I still have had them forever. Has nothing to do with it, do you also tell people with tinnitus to regularly clean their ears? Cause that's basically what you're saying.

fuck off healthyfag

This is what it actually looks like.

i always thought those were worms in my eyes as a kid

I have a permanent small black dot floating around, it annoys me greatly.

We were fucked by genetics user, it has nothing to do with screens. I also have tinnitus. Both are incurable. Can't wait to die.

It's a brain problem

>I have a permanent small black dot floating around, it annoys me greatly.
could just be your blind spot, everybody's got them
most people's brains automatically tune them out

When was the last time you went to the opticians? This happens to me when I don't wear my glasses.

Your brain should filter them out.

No
See

I have tinnitus too but I can deal with it most of the time, depends on the day

>visually hallucinate a huge insect on the wall
>look and it's gone

Dumb fucking frogposter

>"2 litres a day"
of what? coca cola? drink water chubbs

Fuck off back to resetera tranny loving frog.

No it's a kind of a floater, I've heard. It's just a small black dot that acts just like a typical floater, but it's stuck in a kind of specific area.

>tinnitus thread earlier
>floaters thread now
Where my carpal tunnel bros at?

who /tinnitus/ here?

Used to go every year because I got my eye fucked up when I was a kid but I quit going. My pupil is still kinda weird but whatever.

The one thing I'm thankful for every day is my eyes. I don't think I'd last a week without them, I'd throw myself in front of a train or something ASAP.

>Work in a physical labor job with dogshit safety thanks to our supplier giving no fucks and our logistics division not holding anyone accountable lest they be called out for being shit too.
>After one too many blows to the head with heavy objects this happens

I sure can’t wait to be blind in that eye in a few years.

>visually hallucinate a huge spider forcing it's way inside your mouth
>panic and it's gone
>tear the room apart searching for that bastard.

>The one thing I'm thankful for every day is my eyes. I don't think I'd last a week without them, I'd throw myself in front of a train or something ASAP.

you couldn't find a train

>have these for about 10 years
>get worse each year
>some days they obstruct my vision so much i just lie in bed all day with my eyes closed listening to let's plays i've seen hundreds of times over
I almost want to kill myself

Attached: WwFtyWv.jpg (200x195, 8K)

I'm lucky that the only bodily faggotry I've got going on is a concave rib cage, easily stuffed nose and psoriasis. Otherwise I can see, hear, and taste perfectly.

>not easily ignoring floaters
lmao

You obviously need glasses, or get contacts.

>tfw your myopia is blatantly getting worse with every year that passes
Literally couldn't read the timer on the oven two metres away from me.

You get these if you don't have enough sex.

What's with all the fucking pepe/wojak posters? Why do they keep posting that shit?

>Think my vision is good
>One day decide to try on my mom's glasses for a laugh
>Can see things in startling crisp definition, it's like a new world completely

Fuck.

God Hates me.

Just exercise, eat and drink and sleep well and you can do whatever the fuck you want until you win nature's fucked up shit lottery and get some horrid chronic pain that had no preventable causes.
Life is good only for as long as you pretend it won't happen to you eventually (it will).

I have mild tinnitus, too. White noise has become my best friend.

Attached: white-noise.jpg (1300x867, 313K)

What's with all the genetical failures on Yea Forums? This is what happens when you're a mutt.

everyone here masturbates plenty, no worries
good thing there is nothing sex gives that can't be found elsewhere

Yes I've already been to the eye doctor. Vis Snow is a brain problem.

I feel deepest for my tinnitus bros. It's such a rotten condition that gets played down by everyone that had a mild baby version of it for just a week. There's some shady shock therapy being researched for it but that's about it too. Forgotten misery.

Eh, at least you've got a way to see clearly now.
You are one of the lucky ones, really.

>having a permanent film-grain filter seems comfy as fuck
it is if you have just a moderate amount like I do, feels like irl kino.
But I don't even notice it during daytime, becomes apparent when it's dark.
actually thought everyone had it until recently

Attached: grain.jpg (500x333, 62K)

user, I get it as well. It happens when I don't wear my glasses. Doesn't happen when I wear my glasses.

Just got contact lenses because I don't like wearing glasses.

I can't get a driver's license because my myopia is so bad.

Attached: 1457582850193.jpg (600x549, 28K)

i have them really bad and tinnitus too

Vast majority of the population suffers from shit like this. The chances of being genetically "flawless" i.e. no bad carryovers is like

iktf

I had these for a while and they got worse and worse. I was getting worried. Now I haven't noticed them in a long time. My lifestyle has changed in many ways, some for the better, some for worse. I can't tell you how to lose them but I know first hand that you can, you're not stuck with them forever. Try to live healthy and don't panic.

I had these as a kid around age 10, but now as an adult I haven't seen them. My vision is still fine too, so I don't know what happened.

Literally not vidya and fairly normal as long as you don't have an excessive amount.

i always had floaters and then I took accutane and they became 10x worse
