Cringe. Fortnite is 10 times deeper than, say, Overwatch. It's a difficult game to master and fascinatingly diverse in gameplay opportunities. I agree that the art style and culture around it are infuriating but the game itself is by no means bad.

Building is fucking aid and the bullet spread is ridiculous. It's a well optimized game, artstyle is fine and the cosmetics obviously sell. If there was a build free mode with just the destructible buildings on the map I'd say it's a 7.5/10 or I'd just stick to PUBG

it's a pretty solid game t.b.h. with the bonus of being update every single fucking week,
adding weapons, changing map, switching modes - really helps it not feel stale, unlike like, well, a lot of other multiplayer games with their dead-set meta and few "preferred by pros" maps staying the same for years

Lot of grind especially since the recent class overhaul where every hero now has his own perk, lack of missions variety wich mainly consist of "you have x minutes to build defenses and x minutes to defend the objective" although they have been trying to address this issue with recent updates, nice story writing
