In theory Medic is any of the male S(+(+)) ranks in MSF in PW, as he theoretically could have been any of your MSF staff from PW. However, as Venom, he has the same stats as Snake from PW, which means he's outclassed by much of DD's staff. He makes up for it with his arm upgrades that let him acquire all the special abilities of individual staff (if not quite the same level, IIRC) and do the robo arm stuff, like Rocket and Jehuty

Why do people still believe this? MGSV's purpose was not to provide a story despite offering the building blocks for one such as Skullface and Diamond Dogs getting revenge. MGSV's purpose wasn't to explain why Big Boss survived Metal Gear 1 either.
