Tooie

Kazooie

Nuts & Bolts

Kazooie but in reality they tie for best.

I want to fuck kazooie

Kazooie and Tooie are like toy story: They are both decent, but the original is waaaay superior.

Toy Story 3 is the best one, though.

SM64

ts3 is full of contrivances and doesnt flow as naturally as a story compared to the original 2

But it's Toy Story 2 that's way superior.

no its not, kazooie is just straight superior as far as core gameplay goes

I thought Toy Story 1 was better. I liked that Woody was the antagonist for the first half

Kazooie is far better, Tooie is still good but it's honestly even more tedious than Donkey Kong 64, Donkey Kong 64 you'll find a path or a area of different bananas where you can just go back to the tag barrel, the tag barrels are very well placed so finding them really isn't an issue outside of Gloomy Galleon. In Tooie, you have to fucking backtrack across multiple different worlds in order to just unlock the first step in getting a jinjo.

This is the objective order.

I have more nostalgia for Tooie, so that one.

Personally, I liked the grander scale and the new characters introduced in Toy Story 2. Zurg is cool, man.

Kazooie is fun.

Tooie feels like work.

I'll stick to Kazooie.

Grunty's Revenge

Tooie's cover is some Five Nights at Freddy's shit.

>Tooie feels like work.
You're thinking of DK64.

Tooie > Kazooie

>backtracking is great
>doesn't give you almost every jiggy on a silver platter
>bigger worlds ≠ bad
>different "feel" to its prequel ≠ bad

/thread

I still can't get this thing working in an emulator, is there some hardcore anti piracy shit in it? Every one I try just resets after 3 seconds.

>mfw I realize Gruntilda would probably have been a Stevefag
I mean, hey, any enemy of Banjo would probably be a friend of hers.

It's literally just 2 but with a bunch of coincidences to move the plot forward

Kazooie is better because all of the minigames are bad.

They're both good but Kazooie is way too easy to breeze through, with some exceptions like Rusty Bucket Bay. Tooie actually feels like a full, expansive adventure and the worlds and levels are designed really well. The NPCs and humor are superior to BK. The "backtracking" isn't really backtracking if you view the game for what it is, one interconnected world.

where my kazooiechads at?

>BK
>no bad levels
>when it had fucking RUSTY BUCKET BAY
Have you just repressed any memory of that level?

I've never tried to emulate Grunty's Revenge. I mostly played it on my GBA back in the day, or my Gameboy player. What emulator you using?

I feel like I need to take a shower after playing tooie, everything in it looks and feels moldy and disgusting
Kazooie is more bright and colourful, plus less backtracking is a plus

That said, I would not want to replay any of these games nowadays. I don't have the patience for them

>he got caught in the casual filter

That level sucks, even hardcore BK fans will tell you.

Git gud.

cringeola RBB is an iconic level with the best music in the game

>trying to declare any level other than Clanker's Cavern as BK's worst level

I don't even remember anymore, I never bothered to reinstall it on my new phone, it was just some Android one.

Thoughts on the Tower of Tragedy?
Did you ever get to have a quiz-off with your friends in the multiplayer?

>what is gobi's valley

Fun as shit what's your problem?

>not a bad level in the bunch
Kazooie has no good levels until Freezeezy Peak

Gobi's Valley is the best level though.

>Whoa! This level connects to an older level!

Attached: 1512294602390.png (866x900, 94K)

That's what made it feel like one big Island you tremendous faggot.

This but unironically.

>Neat! This level is so small I don't need to use my brain to navigate it at all.

Attached: 1556477969213.png (645x729, 70K)

exactly. it reaches max comfort levels

Attached: chill crocooldile.jpg (1000x1018, 168K)

kazooie is better for comfortfags
tooie is better for challengefags

I'm going to sexually assault this user

Only if you are Kazooie

t. zoomer

havent played them in 20 years so I dont fucking know

Tooie is the better game, but I prefer Kazooie's Gruntilda's Lair as a hub over Tooie's world

Mario 64 fucks both in the ass

both

>kazooie
>mario 64 clone with slight QoL improvements
>tooie
>basically metroid

tooie

Tooie's structure is a more interesting and functional collectathon, but Kazooie's tighter level design and comparatively linear structure lend better to the movement mechanics being pretty bland compared to SM64

upvoted

>Not mentioning Clanker's Cavern as the shit level

Tooie improved on basically every single aspect of the first game be it boss battles, map size, move count, plot etc but kazooie simply had more charm.

I got to the swamp level and just couldnt continue. I wanted to like that game so bad but I just couldnt. That was a bitter pill to swallow.

t. got scared by clanker like a bitch

What was charming in Kazooie beyond the initial concept and everything Gruntilda (Furnace Fun especially)

Kazooie is FULL of soulless levels like Clankers, Treasure Trove Cove, Bubblegloop Swamp, Gobis Desert, and Freezeezy Peak to the point where i think people like it primarily because it can be easily speedrun and this whole argument is just SLOW VS FAST

It's only eternal because you keep remaking this thread.

>big metal trash compactor whale with gold teeth
>fat burping captain, cheat sand castle and jaws shark that nips ur bum
>the turtle minigame where youre an aligator
>"how are your nuts bark breath?" "Kazooie!"
>collecting the twinklies and getting presents for boggys kids and then having a sled race with him
>soulless
U wot m8

I think that Kazooie starts off way better than Tooie, but once you get more moves and realize that not everything can be done in one go, Tooie is better.

Clanker wasn't scary, it's just a shit level where you spend 90% of the time stuck in water, Clanker himself wasn't so bad because at last you were on fucking land for little while

Swamp and the Casino levels are probably the best 2, so you got through the worst of it, and I don't think you even need that many pagies to get to the Capital B fight

>freezeezy
>soulless
nice try steveposter

What are the % of a Nintendo Switch of the 2 game now?

What's the best n64 emulator to play these games?

I'm still in disbelief.

Attached: 52468230.jpg (538x392, 43K)

Favorite levels in each? Loved Freezeezy peak in BK and it's a tie between Witchyworld and Hailfire Peaks in BT

I fucking hate these threads.

>waking up and realizing he'll never get a new game

Never play Dark Souls.

Attached: Tooiefags.png (1024x653, 335K)

Both games have a terrible difficulty curve, like dogshit tier.

If you compare original N64 Versions, First one wins because the frame rate of tooie on N64 was awful

However, when you compare their xbox versions that have fixed tooie's frame rate issues, I like tooie more. playing as mumbo is fun, the worlds are better, and everything just feels like a step up

FP is a good shout, as is MMM and CCW, Tooie would be Witchyworld o GGM for me

MMM and Witchyworld.

What are the chances of a nintendo switch remake of the 2 game now?

Yes.

Banjo-Kazooie is a better game, but Banjo-Tooie is a worthy sequel.

>Banjo-Kazooie
Click clock wood
Literally a masterpiece

>Tooie
Jolly rogers lagoon
>Cozy music from beta version
>Jukebox on it.
>A water level that is not shit.
>I can play as a submarine on it.

I just wish the underwater part was bigger.
it feels small in comparison with other worlds.

Click Clock Wood and Grunty Industries

Banjo been hittin them weights.

Always enjoyed glitter gulch mine as well, but god damn did the FPS dynamite defusing minigame there always kick my ass. I think i've only beaten it like 1 or 2 times ever, I just get too fed up and say fuck it and move on lol

BK Treasure Trove Cove and Rusty Bucket Bay are fantastic. In BT, Jolly Roger's Lagoon is amazing (fuck Lord Woo Fak Fak though)
They nailed the flying and swimming in those levels.

Toy Story 3 has so much emotional manipulation it comes of as laughable.
