I keep my calorie intake between 1000-1500 a day and go for a walk in the morning. I don't go all that fast. About two miles an hour and I walk for an hour. Gradually getting to that point over the course of five to six years I've lost 200 pounds. Even if your leg is fucked up as long as you can do two miles an hour you can do it too.

Hardest thing for me wasn't even keeping my calories in check. It was getting to the point where I cared to, and the motivation to start walking. A blood infection that coulda killed me in '12 kick started my survival instinct or some shit and here I am.

Yeah I'm still trying to figure things out. Unfortunately back when I had my legs I was actually pretty into running as exercise and would do that a lot whenever I tried working out, so just a little bummed I can't really do that anymore. Walking should be fine though, I'll have some pain but I think I can get through it. With this leg I've noticed the pain is actually worse if I just stand without moving. Movement hurts but idk it doesn't seem to hurt as much. Limiting calorie intake also surprisingly helps me save some money too for other nerdy shit so that's kind of a plus.
