glow in the dark

Get the fuck out useless faggot

Busy with an animation project.

I don't want to

I have no creativity.

Programming is too hard to learn. I'd rather focus on improving my body by going to the gym and getting drivers license. My programmer friends are working on a nice strategy pixelart game project in C++, so maybe I can help them one day.

I'm using my time to work on writing lewd things, but have been planning to make lewd game with a friend who can actually draw once he has more time to commit to it.

Too busy playing them and too smart to know I don't have any actually good ideas.

Translation: Too uncreative to have any good ideas
You can pat yourself on the back all you want user but in the end it's because of something you lack

I have two ideas for games I really wanna make but I have no talent yet
I'm gonna learn Unity and Blender, and have my sister make music and concept art

>t. ``Idea guy" that doesn't realize he's a retard and will never make anything good

Because I tried and failed 7 years ago.

I've had an idea in the back of my mind of reviving a now dead game since it was something I enjoyed playing as a kid. My only problem is I have no idea what to use to make the idea blossom, so to speak.

I'm lazy and I literally don't know where to start. I just want to make a game like CoC but with better combat.

Practicing my artwork. I want to make lewds and a webcomic sometime soon. I'm afraid of starting out underskilled but hopefully sometime I'll at least make artwork for a videogame.

>t. self-righteous fuck looking for excuses to make himself better about being creatively bankrupt on a taiwan silkweaving board
And you know I'm right

But I am working on it right now. One of my level's lighting is building.

Two jobs + School.
Just left my first cage need to go to bed so I can be up for my next cage in time.then I need to study for my exam.

I don't understand programming
Typing code seems like a hassle
I can't draw
I can't into making music

I'm just gonna be honest with you user. Any Idea can be great if it's excuted well. Do you think Fat Italian plumber fights giant turtle to save princess and eats mushrooms to get big sounds like a good idea? Absolutely not but it works. Don't be a faggot man just do what you wanna do.

I actually agree with the other guy.
You can make a billion good ideas but you need one you can actually execute and see through to the end which is much easier said than done.

Sounds to me like you are also making excuses for yourself user. Have you at least tried seeing one of your good ideas to the end?

Too busy fapping

>I can't
Translation: I didn't try hard enough because I lack discipline and don't understand the meaning of effort

But seriously though I actually do want to make this game. I just need a place to start. Any advice at all would help.

Yup a game that should take no more than one month took 3 years and im still not done the art and that was meant to be one of many. Still don't have the free time

Correction: I won't try hard enough, not didn't.

That's unfortunate, but you do need time in order to do these kinds of things

Okay, so you didn't try hard enough and you won't

general incompetence and/or laziness
every time i download one of those gamemakers, be it 2d, 3d, or text-base i just freeze up at all the shit i need to know how to do and just give up
im not sure if im inept or just too lazy to do/learn shit unless i feel like i have to
the closest thing i've ever done to making something was fucking around in the geck/creation kit for bethesda games and even that was just making basic bases/houses, and i still didn't get the coding shit right on making them actual player houses

>I'm not good at x because I'm not good at it
>Implies he has never done it before
John Carmack did not fucking make Doom before he learned to walk retard, you absolutely CANNOT be good at something unless you put the practice and time in. That is exactly why you lack the discipline required, you have no patience and will live your live in squalor. Have fucking fun

playing skyrim with loli and beast mods. maintaining the mod configuration/compatibilities is as time-intensive as an actual job

I appreciate your honesty user, you tried and it just wasn't for you. That is more commendable than most

I will have fun playing games, thanks.

You can do that user, just know that the reason you are bad at these things is because you didn't try, not because you just aren't "good"

Not once did I say wasn't good, but ok.

You implied that you aren't by saying that you can't. Just accept that you're low effort and enjoy your games bud

not a neet, in fact I do occasional threads around steam sales mocking neets

my creative urges/interests tend more towards worldbuilding and editing/drawing maps in mspaint tbqh. have picked up aseprite and the idea of making my own sprites does appeal but well 1) lazy 2) both add/adhd 3) got other irons on the fire

current big project is going through decade old ah fan fiction-tier stuff, mining the better stuff for original ideas.

got an iq a few sd above average but consistently, even into college was a C student at best as far as math goes. programming? lolno the closest im willing to go with that is editing number settings in game mods to change spawnrates.

>low effort
Since when did I ever imply otherwise?

You're right user, you never implied that you aren't low effort. You just are

Don't have any programming skills. Not sure about design skills, I've never tried. I'm still working on games though; I'm a translator.

Glad you finally got it. It only took you 26 minutes. Maybe next time, you'll understand from the first post. Guess we both got room to improve.

You can make yourself feel as good as you'd like, you'll always be the shit beneath my shoes. Maybe I should stop walking on my lawn so often, at any rate enjoy your life of squalor

I'm lazy, and eventually someone will probably make a game that I'd like to make anyway.

post gaem

Because the gaming market is so over saturated at this point that my product will get drowned in the sea of chinese knockoffs and porn games flooding Steam.

Also I like RTS games and people don't like RTS games anymore.

Based

I don't enjoy working with computers. Drawing isn't fun. I'm tone deaf. And I hate video games.

I have a job, getting an education, don't want to learn what and works in any of the engines, my drawing and 3d modeling skills are shit, I have a slight experience in 3d animation but no experience in writing, combine all that and you'll probably get a shit game that sells on steam for $2 that nobody cares about.

>Make a new project
>Make some good progress
>Get distracted by video games
>Slowly abandon the project
what motivates me also ends my motivation... how poetic...

my ideas aren't fleshed out and i have very little experience in the skills necessary to create what i want. even if i did have those skills, i'd still need years of free time to actually program, model, compose for and script the game.

I don't know if I can find a good job while learning to make video games
How do people even get a job of making video games in a shithole like Asia without money?
I can get into coding and I see most people learn to code to become software programmer or web developer
