Don’t make one, there isn’t a viable way to make superman fun without weakening him which defeats the purpose. If you really want one it would have to take place in space near a red sun or what ever the fuck sun he’s weak to, the one he was near when Muhammad Ali fucked him up.
So user, pitch us that idea for a Superman game
At least for the last 40 years Superman gained his powers and general superstrength slowly over time, using his powers drains him of solar energy that he needs to recharge by being in sunlight, and troves of weaknessess and counters to his abilities have been established. These are easily transferable concepts to a videogame, and I'm confused if that's known by the majority of Yea Forums posting in these threads or if they're generally only thinking to make "The endgame character will be OP" argument against Superman for other reasons.
>Various destructible stages where Superman fights powerful mooks until he reaches a supervillain
>Mooks can't kill Superman but they drain the energy pool that powers his various super powers, leaving him in bad shape to face the boss if you play poorly
>Metropolis serves as an open-world hub where you can fly around, stop bank-robberies, chat with citizens, find collectables and solve puzzles
>Alternatively you can explore the ground as Clark Kent, sometimes people are more willing to give information or clues to Kent that can lead to bonus missions
