How the fuck will the PS5 pack 2TB of SSD, Zen 3 and a GPU more powerful than the RTX 2080 Ti for under $600?

specs are likely bullshit

You're completely retarded.

Magic

The data they collect and sell from their consumers pays for the rest of it.

>GPU more powerful than the RTX 2080 Ti
amd doesnt even have a gpu that comes close to that. wish they fucking did, the high end shit might not be so stupidly expensive these days.

Slave labor,

because they make up the difference on psplus, psnow, and psvue

it won't

big surprise

>GPU more powerful than the 2080Ti

We fucking know what GPU is going into it. It's a downclocked version of the RX 5700.

In 5 years maybe when components go cheap.

It's sony, not Microsoft

It wont.

No way that can run ray tracing at 4k niggy.
Isn't it coming 2020/1?

part makers have to make a profit of their products when sold to the public. the price you pay for a gpu includes marketing budget, packaging, distribution, a cut to the final seller, etc. the cost is significantly reduced when making parts in bulk without any added expenses and aer then sold cheap to a company like sony because there's a commitment to produce these parts for years, and costs of making these parts lower as time goes by. this is fucking basic stuff you bunch of retards.

there's a good chance they've hopped on it
I've noticed alot of games have that data collection notice now

>No way they can run Ray Tracing at 4k

Yeah no shit, that's why they've been super vague about what they mean by "Ray Tracing".

>there are people out there expecting high fidelity graphics at 4k
the only games running at resolutions like that are gonna be indie stuff that look like snes games

They said the same about 1080p :^)

yeah like time played and shit like that. what sellable data are they going to get from playing games

It's not a hogh end zen2. Likely a r3/r5 selected for stable temps and power efficiency.
It's not even close to a 2080ti. It can run 4k and can run ray tracing. they didn't say it had to be native 4k. It can be 1080p upscaled and they can still call it 4k. They've done it before with 720p upscaled to 1080p on the ps4, they'll do the same for 4k. you don't need rtx cards to run ray-tracing either. Minecraft has a ray-traced shader mod that runs on 9xx/10xx nvidia cards.
Lastly, flash memory prices have fallen drastically the past year. SSDs are dirt cheap and likely Sony is using several low-capacity cheapo SSDs running in RAID instead of a more expensive singular SSD.

Spoiler
It won’t remember how the PS3 is going to be the world’s most powerful console with the new Cell tech?
Me neither

So basically a midrange build now, 3600x/5700 XT will be enough to run the next generation (5-6 years) at Ultra settings 60fps 1080p?

They will sell at a loss. Each PS5 and Scarlett will sell for a loss with both companies hoping to recoup the loss via first party game sales. This is why the PlayStation head dude said he wants fewer but bigger and better first party games.

>Isn't it coming 2020/1?
Sure, but answering OP's question, I don't think the price will reléase at even below $500 with those specs, unless they do a revision down the line. After many years in the market and some black fridays I can see the PS5 going down to $350 on sales.

because it will release december 2020, thats a long fucking time

Where you pan your camera and look. Where you pause or pause at. What you replay the most. Recordings of your voice chat. Little things like that.
