I think Sony should try the Playstation All-Stars thing again but instead of making a Smash Bros clone they should do something else. The recent CTR remake and Sega deciding to forgo making a proper SASRT sequel gives me the idea of a Playstation All-Stars Racing game.
Rather than shill the newest third party game, the roster and stages could actually consist of iconic characters who are tied to Playstation like Crash, Spyro, Cloud, nuKratos etc. Especially the first two since they're actually relevant again. What do you think of this idea and how would you do it?

Rip off Kingdom Hearts and use Ape Escape as the main series.

Make it a traditional fighting game instead, Kratos has been in both 2D and 3D so there's little issue with how he would play.
Since its a crossover, I'd have to be a Versus AKA Tag game to make more sense, kinda like Marvel.

I wouldn't because Sony characters aren't iconic and any 3rd party title would rather have his guy in Smash than anything Sony puts out

Crossovers in concept are about mixing different shit, which is what makes them fun if the properties are different enough to have their own material, even if some range from literally who's to "meh".

Essentially nintendo has gained too much power for Sony to ever try going down this road again. It's been proven time and time again that nintendo sabotaged the release of PASBR from the very beginning, getting the Japanese mafia involved (the mafia are bad guys in Japan, the Yakuza are actually good guys and suppor the local communities. The mafia backs up nintendo in their business committing many crimes for the good of the company, while the Yakuza supports Sony, but has less power due to the Yakuza being limited to Japan and the mafia being run worldwide.)
Before the game release nintendo spent multiple billions of dollars to all news outlets, websites, and gaming magazines to bad mouth the game. Sony tried to fight back but nintendo was going hard with the payouts to third parties and Sony could not get any good third parties in PSABR except for a large number of Western characters because the Japanese mafia does not have ties in the American gaming industry. With a monopoly (and an illegal one at that) nintendo all but ensured that the smash bros series would lock down all the good characters and any competing games would be review bombed to death.
You can see nintendo is on the offensive now with ultimate considering how many third party characters they are illegally getting into the game.

And leave it to a Japanese studio (Japan Studio maybe) and give it an actual art style
