Life gets better when you make it better. Almost everyone I know is suffering because of something they could have prevented but chose not to; whether that's eating habits, bad finance handling, being assholes to their friends/family, or just sitting in a dark room eating/smoking/playing video games until their dopamine receptors are absolutely shot and their blood isn't flowing (my case)
