Stop being bad at video games.

Get good

I did this when I was 9

I wasn't born when I was 9 you fucking zoomer

Probably the hardest level in.the game to get a relic
I got one on stormy ascent before I managed to there

Just jump on the planks, bro.

Want a cookie? You're cringe, mate.

imagine not knowing you're better at video games when you're 9

Yea it's kind of cheap that you can just walk on the ropes instead of going through the level normally. But on the other hand it's fun to discover stuff like that.

remember in the remake crash's hit box is oval rather than square so he doesn't always make enough contact where he would in the original.

What did he mean by this?

the new hitboxes make it a lot harder than it originally was

I found walking on the rope to be more difficult than just jumping on the platforms.

I never understood why game developers bother making levels so hard that people eventually stops playing.

>I wasn't born when I was 9
over-protective mother?

I never understood why people think that's a hard level.

>The new hitboxes make it a lot harder to cheese the level.
FTFY

>I wasn't born when I was 9

The only frustrating part about this level is the platinum relic. If you can't make it through despite the availability of checkpoints and being able to stop and take your time to prepare a jump, you're just terrible.

Its when the platform jank begins to show. For some reason bouncing platforms push you off and it makes this stage a bigger hassel then it was before.

Underage and banned

why did no one complain about this level before the remake when it was still the hardest level in the original game?

What’s honestly wrong with being terrible at a video game? I ask this sincerely, why do people on this board act like being bad at video games is some great moral transgression?

..I think what he was trying to say was
>You wasn't born when I was 9, fuck off zoomer.

It's fine to be bad at a video game. I myself am absolutely shit at fighting video games, for instance. The difference is I don't go around calling a fighting game bullshit with something as far as making a thread about it. If you complain publicly then you should expect criticism publicly. It's as simple as that. And part of the problem is that the philosophy of "I am bad at it, this means the game needs to change" is why we have so many games these days trying to appeal to the broadest demographic and giving up on any semblance of difficulty as a result.

Pretty sure you never actually need to walk on the ropes.

The original didn't have oval hitboxes and different jumping physics

I didnt even know you could walk on the rope when i first played until a friend told me. Made getting the platinum easier.

Git gud.

No seriously, I replayed The High Road a few days ago and only lost about 11ish lives or so. Road to Nowhere is way easier, when I first played it it took about 90 lives but now I can beat it with much much less. I just wasn't watching where my shadow was when I was falling. And momentum is a big deal with how your jumps work off turtles. I had the most problems with Fumbling in the Dark after Road to Nowhere at first, until I tried Stormy Ascent.

Oh and in addition, rope trick can make it easy to skip sections, that's how I initially got past The High Road because I knew it was going to be a much bigger pain.

I've never understood why some people are so entitled and self absorbed that they feel they should be able to beat every game they play. Let me guess, you grew up with 7th gen?

What does that matter? It's still pretty easy. But if you can't adjust to some minuscule details then there might not be saving for you. Didn't have any problems with the original when I was a kid nor with the remaster version.
