Beast style with that one upgrade, golden fist or something, gives you more dmg with a little heat, is powerful enough for the max difficulty speedrun.

I never used Rush outside of boss fights really. Beast is too good at taking out large groups of enemies, which is what you fight for most of the game.

Beast is fucking great, especially when you take advantage of heat actions that hit multiple enemies.
I used Rush all the time at the start, but as time went on it just wasn't giving me the damage output of other styles, especially since you can't pick up bikes with it on.

Rush is the worst style. Brawler is the best, then beast and dragon, Rush dead last.

Beast is best for crowd control.
Rush is best for 1-on-1 engagements.
Brawler is meh until you upgrade it— then it becomes OP.

yes, rush is terrible, you will notice how weak it is after you advance through the story
bosses take forever to beat, normal goons require plenty of hits while you can knock them out in like two hits using other styles

Beast and Breaker are straight up the best styles in the entire game. You can just mash square in Beast once you have it upgraded and not only gain the Heat needed to gain super armor but you will retain it indefinitely while also taking lower damage. It's a ridiculously overpowered style in 0.
