Are the DLCs worth buying?
I just bought the game a couple days ago

Bogenhafen is only 2 maps, and special weapon and character skins.

If you haven't played the first game, then Back to Ubersreik is worth. It's every map from the first game, plus extra weapons.

Ehh
Börgenhafen brings two missions who are not worth the talk, too long and exausting, but it also brings cosmetics in the game

Back to ubersreik gives 3 remastered vermintide one levels, they are pretty good but thats it

Collectors edition gives you litteraly nothing, 5 skins who are just reskins of the defaults and some gimmiks, you also get a sigmar statue on the entrance of the keep to show everyone that you can't handle your money well since these once pre order bonuses cost more the the two prevous dlc's together

Wait, only 3 maps?

That explains a lot.

Catchcatchcatch!!

At least the Winds of Magic looks cool with a great trailer. And versus mode on the horizon

how do I make the game show me enemy hp bars?

so... how is the beta?

>He thinks we'll get versus mode.
Have fun with that balance hell.

It's already confirmed though.

Versus will have to be a 1-difficulty game mode if they want it to be balanced at all.

That being said, I will enjoy being a catch-catch so fucking much.

Are we ever getting a sixth character? I like the five we got, and I feel like the three specializations were great for expanding on their gameplay, but I'd kind of like something more off the wall like a non-bright wizard mage. Or even something stupid like one mission where you play as four orcs stomping on chaos/skaven.

Uh oh, looks like some of you guys have high hopes for FartShart

>Orcs
Please Fatshark

I hope you guys like slower gameplay because in Beta WOM they added more hp to enemies, fucked up break points and added focus on stagger to deal dmg.

Did you play Vermintide 1? Fatshark is always updating the game to make it more difficult. Pubs can do legend with ease now, so they feel the need to shake it up and make it harder.

Stormvermin used to be rare.

I played V1 a few months before V2 came out, one thing I liked about V1 was that the majority of skaven were fodder to be cleaved through and generally killed en mass, it always felt like we were making progress with the sheer amount of bodies we went through to get stuff done. Shieldboys only showed up on occasion and demanded your attention when they did along with the other specials, making a nice cycle of combat where you had dips and peaks in the tension without simply not having enemies at all.

Chaos generally changed that since the majority of chaos warriors take some effort to bring down, making progress a lot slower, especially as more show up. Instead of hammering through a bunch of enemies, I've got sections where I pretty much have to hunker down and kill a few dozen of them before slowly moving on ten steps and having more called. With the skaven, I could advance despite them coming until a special showed up.

I don't find standing behind flamethrower sienna/bardin fun at all and I hate two handed weapons so they can come up with something else than number tweaking. Mixed hordes? Shields/armored? Bosses on horde with small amount of weaker enemies? Special spawns in hordes? They have so much shit they can come up with and we mostly get different numbers on higher difficulty.

I don't disagree that they run the risk of making the Meta too dependent on certain characters and weapons, or even agree that making the enemies have more health is a good idea.

I'm just saying this is how fatshark has operated the entire time. I remember playing River Reik for the first time and being absolutely floored by how many stormvermin there were.

I think the other part of it is the map design of 2 lends it self more to slower progression. In general I think 1, especially in the DLC department, had much better map design.
