It's actually really good now. I get 45FPS on High settings 1080p with almost no drops (only when loading in large towns). The graphics look a lot nicer and the AI is pretty much fixed

You don't get it. Gamers will never change their mind on anything. It doesn't matter how many patches and fixes come, they will always stick to their initial opinion.
Even steam acknowledges this, and just lets people view a timeline of reviews so they can see when a reviewbomb happened.
