What are your hopes for Silksong?

The first one already has a laughable achievement section with only 1.4% getting 112% completion.
But i agree. The first game was missing more sections like the PoP.

I just really hope the acrobatics department gets expanded with more ways to jump around doing crazy shit. From what we've seen in the demo so far it looks like they're going for a more fast paced game with far more things to do than just slashing bosses, with the occasional ability, which is nice.

I know the point of HK was that you are in the dead husk of kingdom with almost nothing left but only have like 1 bit of dialog with the npcs was kind of boring.

112% is "only" finishing pantheon 1-4 and the main game. Pantheon 5 is for autistic people with nothing else to do than prove to themselves that they did it.

Abyss Shriek makes radiance way easier as it hits for 100 damage if all the hits connect.

I did, mostly by bunny-hopping and slowly chipping away her health with nail I'am a massive pussy who saves all his soul for healing

I usually beat this kind of game with only basic attacks to force myself to learn the patterns properly.

Quick focus in all moments of opportunity

1 - that the game is still fun to play
2 - that the lore doesnt contradict or diminishes the characters and events transpired in the 1st game
3 - that if it accomplishes both requirements above mentioned, it sells well enough that Team Cherry not only stays active but keeps making newer an better games

The Lace boss fight make me very excited for the mid-late game bosses Silksong is going to have.

I'm interested in the new equipment system. The charm spell upgrades where really fun to play around with and from the looks of the mask system this might have even more combo variation.

I'm mostly just excited for a new world to explore

I like that they're copying the best shit Castlevania came up with which is the tactical souls shenanigans the Sorrow games had. Seems like some tools will actually give you extra movement options like.

The original game only had the downward dash which was only really useful when you had the shadow dash.
