>speedrunning game any% >"okay now I'm gonna do the noclip glitch which is a 1/4 chance in losing 1.4 seconds" >announcer sitting next says the same exact thing >*audience claps for no reason* >repeat throughout the entire stream
No clue It’s best just to let autists do their own thing so they can stay away from society Let them have their “fun” if that’s what they do. They clearly don’t think right
Cooper Ramirez
Because people want to feel apart of something while doing nothing.
Also to save the frames
Aiden Wood
for the cringe and trannies lmfao
Grayson Sanders
>Now I'm gonna do the 40% skip, I only have one chance though
Christopher Baker
I swear there was a time when they said this about gaming and gamers in general.
James Ortiz
They really do need to switch things up. If you've watched one you've watched them all, the games list doesnt even switch up all that much
Jaxon Parker
>okay this is frame perfect >it's a frame perfect clip here >this clip is a one in ten thousand chance glitch >ok nice I got it >nice >nice >nice dude >*audience claps*
Brandon Walker
>the games list doesnt even switch up all that much Neither are the donations
Caleb Watson
Its comfy to watch with Yea Forums

The good ones go into deep detail about the programming reasons why a glitch works, or the reasons why this route is considered optimal out of all possible routes, etc. peppered with some light video game humor. Like a love commentary about the background of the game. The less fun ones just mention glitches and how hard it is to do them.
Julian Hall
please give me a speedrun to watch as I fall asleep Yea Forums
Josiah Rivera
>The good ones go into deep detail about the programming reasons why a glitch works Which almost never happens because they don't know the code of the game and have no idea why the glitch works. All I ever hear as an explanation as to why a glitch works from a speedrunner is "We don't know why this happens, just that it does."
Josiah Bell
Mostly I just like having something to put on in the background while I do other stuff. And having it be a big live event makes me feel like I'm part of something. There's a feeling like anything could happen.
This is the speedrun all speedruns should strive to be. Fun, engaging, and informative. Even as a casual F-Zero fan this shit is enthralling. Also the turbo-autist in the yellow shirt has the best fucking reactions (and by reactions I mean New Balance dad shoes).
I think the PC no fun allowed stuff is mostly a factor of the event becoming more high profile. I've seen the same thing happen with other streaming charity events that got popular. The more popular the event is the more afraid people become that something they say is going to come back on them. One charity event I watch started implementing swearing bans for people on camera because they were afraid children would be watching and parents would get mad at them.
Ethan Cooper
I want to hate this guy just from looking at him but honestly every time I watch a KH series run he usually carries the commentary solo. Seems to be the only well-adjusted humorous guy among that community, at least of the ones that go to GDQ
Alexander Adams
this is why ESA is better.
that and the lack of emphasis on trans shit.
Michael Russell
Speedruning is so autistic. It's like being proud of solving this one sudoku puzle in half a minute after spending a week training to do it. It's not even cool, with all the glitches.
Eli Perez
repeating the same thing over and over used to named torture now it is entertainment
Jose Perry
I dislike this part of speedrunning. There are some games which are genuinely interesting to watch when the runner is good. Watching someone tear through super mario sunshine was pretty cool though. He seemed more interested in showing off the various fludd maneuvers and platformed like a god.
Almost any game with a speedrunning community has multiple speedrunning categories for this reason, "no major glitches" being a common category. Stop pretending that you know anything about anything.
remember chibi and that god awfully ugly mustache dude who told him he's prefer he shut up then did 20 or something jumping jacks for a 5 dollar donation
any other people watching it for speedrunning are autismos like cosmo who go tranny from an unfulfilling life
Asher Harris
>"This next trick is called 'Boss Skip'." >"It skips the boss."
>being autistic Using a bug to skip 1/4 of the game can be entertaining to watch, for people who have never seen that bug before.
Looking down all the time isn't entertaining to watch, and isn't very fun to do either. That's why people hated it.
Nicholas Rodriguez
imo 3rd down on the left side is the ugliest fuck out of all of them, even worse than the pink haired one. like the dude looks like a fucking gorilla faced dude or something i think most of these dudes had birth defects to begin with
worse part when you stop and take a moment to think is
>they look happy >you are unhappy
Joseph Bennett
How legit are the donations? Does the money actually go where they say they go or does it end up in some tranny's sex change funds?
Jacob Brown
I wish people would get better at fucking commentating their speedrun. Instead you get people that aren't funny AND can't explain what the fuck they are doing. Also I'm tired of a lot of the runners making a trick or glitch sound wayyyyy harder then it actually is, just sounds like they are jerking themselves off.
Easton Butler
>>>"okay now I'm gonna do the nodick glitch which is a 41% chance in committing suicide"
Jaxson Edwards
literally the only GDQ block worth watching is awful games. there should be a GDQ event specifically for bad games.
Nicholas White
>actually looking at someone's shoes why are you black?
Asher Miller
feels good to be a part of something positive for a change
Asher Wilson
hell no dude. looking down is just shy of beating a game with a blindfold on. Goddamn, it takes more skill than looking up at everything.
>favorite game gets featured at GDQ >runner knows jack-fucking-shit about the game's inner workings >gives abridged and inaccurate explanations about how exploits work >misses safe and easy optimizations >claims a trick is frame perfect when it's not >acts like it's a big deal for hitting a 1/6 second timing >realize every other run is probably full of the same bullshit
The only runs worth watching now are ones full of jokes from genuinely entertaining dudes.
>Game can be properly run in an hour or so. Maybe even less >Runner uses methods to skip a whole portion of the game
Sometimes it's legit, other times it's glitches. I get it with games like Wind Waker and Mario 64 - those games last a while when done normally, but not every run is "made better" by phasing out of reality and warping to the final boss
Aaron Baker
>ok nice I got it >nice >nice >nice she nailed it.

>dude why are these speedrunners discussing what they are doing and not cracking epic jokes like Jackscepticeye or Pewds!? zoom zoom
Adam Ramirez
I can't watch this shit, ever since this one year where there was a black dude playing, and his tranny "girlfriend" was on the couch next to him and looked like his fucking twin brother. It's haunted me ever since.
Camden Taylor
When's the last time that something cool or interesting happened at one of these things? And no, autists being autists does not count as cool or interesting was probably my most recent memory
Ethan Thomas
