Pathfinder Kingmaker
Planescape Torment

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines

Is there lots of reading material in that game?

what about a text based game

I don't mind

steve jacksons sorcery 1-4
you can pirate the pc versions, or at least the first 2 last time I checked

Divinity Original Sin 2

The game is more character focused and you can generally ask a lot of questions, the writing for their dialogue and their voice acting is some of the best in video game history.

Pillars of Eternity

Yup

Man I just got around to playing through this after owning it for like 8 years. Goddamn I'm sorry I waited.

Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2, mostly 2

Planescape and any VN

Oh, and Morrowind

Baldur's Gate 1 and 2
Planescape Torment
Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines
KOTOR 1 and 2
Fallout New Vegas
Divinity Original Sin 2
Dragon Age Origins
Fallout 1 and 2

Got The Age of Decadence not too long ago, I'm on my second playthru and it's pretty good. Writing not too bad either.

Fate/Stay Night

KOTOR 2
The voice acting in that game is fantastic too, save that one skank on Nar Shadaa.

Morrowind my boy

I used to be a Jehovah's Witness and we went to these gay, huge, long ass church sessions called conventions when i was a kid. One year, i saw some fucking faggot who was unapologetically looking at a game boy, and that pissed me off he got a free way out of this nightmare, but when i went to the bathroom and caught a glimpse of his screen it was all fucking words. About a decade later i realized it was this; it's really weird that it exists.

was he a kid
imagine your parents only getting you that game

he was, but my parents had even less of a chance of understanding it than i did. shame too; i heard that """game""" is pretty rare.
