I’ll never understand the desire for Heihachi, Scorpion, or anyone from Tekken, MK, or DBZ for that matter. Ryu already takes the iconic fighter game rep spot.

you play as those characters in fighting games already. the fun of smash is playing as characters that aren’t fighting game mascots in a different way. who gives a fuck playing as someone the same way you have in 10+ titles of their own series

I highly doubt they would pick Spyro and Crash. My guess is Crash and then some other well-known third party, Dante isn’t a bad guess.

After the reveals they've had lately, I think the only way to really top themselves would be to have Crash AND Spyro in the same reveal. And if they can make Banjo get in, I don't see any reason they can't get Crash and Spyro in.
