Well, Basilikos is the only true advantage Raven has over Ylgr, even as +Spd he's only faster by one point, all of Ylgr's stats are higher. As I said the only issue with the girl is that her skillset is really bad, she doesn't actually benefit from her weapon either.

I think Helbindi's weapon gives him Atk and Def for being physical so I assume Ylgr will be the same. To be honest, they're better with any other weapon, the effect is too dependant on buffs for such a small boost.

I think that one looks fine, but the other 3 are garbage.

Black Knight gives huge bang for his buck, and Aversa is very useful. Lolizura is a decent dancer if you don't want to use a free olivia. All the free armors range from good to great, but Black Knight's special skill will absolutely crush things.
Fodder wise probably something like Naesala is probably the best, although he's an excellent unit as well

Black Knight is usually on the top picks of units to build with grails and he has already gotten three merges if you pay for the bundle. Zephiel, Aversa, lolizura, H!Dorcas and Naesala are also very good picks, then we're getting Fallen doot in next month's update who is a really good blue mage, and now Ylgr who is surely a top 5 infantry axe.

Aversa is probably the best for anything involving fighting other people's characters just for her stupidly useful weapon ability. Its completely useless in lunatic and abyssal difficulty stuff though thanks to the retardedly high HP values.

Like a small amount of real dollarydoos to get "better" in-game art. Some gachas do this but not all since doing so would burn bridges with sensitive and insecure artists but still in the realm of possibility.

Aversa, Black Knight, "Marth", Azura and Naesala are probably the best. The rest of the armors are all pretty decent as well.
For fodder it depends on what you want but Leo, Naesala and Louise all have great skills for general purposes.

Askr can pull heroes from different places in time, and also parallel worlds. The Loki we can summon is from a parallel world, since she outright says it. So i imagine, the Gunnthra for NY and Summer are from before her dying and then getting the chance to catch up with her sibling while in the castle after getting summoned. Also NY and Summer are the same Gunnthra, she just changed clothes, like with every other character that gets multiple seasonals. Of course, it doesnt matter to the canon of the story mode, because they wont ever show up for it conveniently.

So tl:dr, it doesnt matter, there are no rules.

Well Surtr did get a Xenologue of him actually being in Hel and being confronted by her as a teaser for Book 3 villain. I imagine that being an evil guy sends you to Hel when you die, where you're technically alive but your soul is stuck wandering Hell, while good people die and go to FE Heaven where you rest in peace maybe probably.

Not really. Namco X Capcom, PxZ1 and PxZ2 are loosely related but there's nothing you'd truly miss, other than the relationship between the OC heroes and villains.

The 2nd game does a decent job of recaping by breifly mentioning events from the previous game and Namco X Capcom. All you really need to know is that this isnt the first time the worlds have collided and people getting teleported to other worlds. Everyone who was involved in previous games also remember what happened and eachother, so theres no "and everyone was mind wiped, the end".

Spring Bruno has pretty good DEF and his weapon heals him and adjacent allies each turn for 7hp.

I'd say healers with Absorb. The issue is that even Absorb+ has shitty mt and healers are usually tanky with abysmal Atk, have good Atk but die to a breeze or an awkward in-between. The rare healers with decent Atk and Spd are the better ones and they still need heavy investment with Quick Riposte to assure doubles and Close Combat, along having high enough attack to compensate for the really bad mt of the staff.

For me it's sort of Nephenee.
I gave her a goofy counterintuitive kit that drastically boosts her atk and def if she's below certain HP as well as boosting her special, but her special is an always primed Noontime (HP leech skill) that heals her back up. The boosts just keep her alive.

Powercreep, like any other game. Theres a new raid boss mode that actually gives you orbs similar to GC. AR is still garbage, but that doesnt give orbs so who cares. Theres Aether Resorts, and its just "watch your chibi sprites walk around". Thats it i guess.

You're neglecting a few great ones like Garon, Michalis, and Arden.

Garon is a good investment for the future with the current "everyone gets dragon effectiveness!" and his prf will eventually get a refine. But his run of the mill LB+ build is fantastic.

Michalis is extremely underrated. Flier balls are so common and understood, yet Mich is neglected. The guy is basically flying Green Black Knight.

Arden is the pinnacle of specialization, and his Bignis nukes are a lot of fun.

Thea is garbage and not even worth promoting from a 4* and both Sue and Lugh are garbage and only good for fodder. Idunn was literally the only thing of note on that banner besides Hone Spd 4 fodder.

Most green mages that aren't armors or Boey have dogshit defense, that's not really much of a point against her.
I don't think 56 atk guaranteed doubles is really hitting like a wet noodle but you do you I guess. Did you even get her? Mine is -Atk and still hits like a truck. 3 wide debuff wave and Sabotage Res makes it difficult NOT to have enemies that don't have debuffs on them.

I'm sure they'll rotate both modes each month, since the rewards I believe are the same.

We now have Dragonflowers which give a BST boost to units. Pre Year 3 update infantry can actually use twice the amount so they get two extra points per stat instead of one for the other move types and Year 3 infantry, so along refines that gave them a really good boost. Catria has Whitewing Lance now which works great on flier teams since she gets a Brave Lance effect when near two fliers, while Chrom still has his Spectrum Bond Falchion refine.

Whenever I go into AR these days, I see two teams:
Reinhardt+10
The Brick Boyz
The former usually seems to fuck me over because every unit they'll have are +10 with like 70 attack and speed and some crazy shit, like a Beruka with 65 defense.
The latter I can sometimes take down with some tricky management, but ISIS refuses to give me an anti-armor unit other than my Crazy Tiki which is just anti dragon, but there's only like three tanks worth a shit that aren't also dragons.

You can't roll a Hana/Bartre?

LHector is still good. And yes, they keep popping out armored characters left and right, especially armored dragons. There are plenty of guide videos of people who go through Legendary Battles with F2P units and little Skill Inheritance. Most people cheese it any way with Tome Celica and 3 dancers (im pretty sure Celica is on a banner right now too). If you want to wait for this months Legend Banner, i would recommend that too to get good and relatively newer units.

AR is a different story and you should not touch it, not worth it at all.

Yes I do have her, and never use her because she sucks. She can't even block ophelias.

I have a sea of greens that are all tomes.
My only non-tome greens are 5* dream FemCorrin, like four Titanias, and like four Camillas.

No seriously. The fact that attracts so much negative attention from people that are bad at it calling everything that makes them lose "cancer" almost proves that they made it right. This is something you see in most popular competitive games. It's not perfect and mythic scoring is trash but it's still the best FEH has to offer and no kicking and screaming from people that can't handle the basic def setups will change that. Also the rewards scale well at the top.

I actually use her with my Nino sometimes. Debuffing enemy team res by 7 is a huge help for CC vantage and she can break Wary Fighter units or Duma when she needs to thanks to her weapon, though using defensive mythics isn't optimal on offense. She performs about as well as flying Nino in other gamemodes though and at least she is better than Duma on AR def

Sure, because I enjoy so much fighting the same teams of double L!Azura, Ophelia, Duma and whatever else they have as extra in T21 and above in every single fucking fight. I agree the difference in rewards between staying in T20 and actually attempting minimum T24 is noticeable, but that doesn't stop AR from being incredibly frustrating and a mode specifically made to milk whales with stupid mythicals and AR exclusive skills that shouldn't even exist in the first place.

A lot of Year 1 units are some of the best units in the game thanks to some killer refines.

Caeda/Clair: Perfect min/maxed stats for her weapon. Kills armors, cavs and tanks dragons. Thanks to Naga, destroys dragons now, too. The only 2 flashing blades on a Flier for galeforce and has the speed to run it. Flier utlity is broken in general.

Ryoma/Ike: Not only run DC and Breath, but also give other infantry the same build by standing next to them.

Gen 1 dragons are STILL some of the best units in the game, namely due to inheritable DC targeting lower defense stat.

Nino/Tharja: The best blade tome users. Can actually get their HP up enough to not be panic fucked by Aversa.

Slaying Dao users: Extremely underrated Prf weapons. Especially on infantry.

Cherche/Elincia: Amazing flying brave weapon Prfs.

And the list goes on. Christmas cavs (not the toilet cavs), a lot of blue lance fliers, the original Falchions + Roy, Rein is still decent and has no refine yet, etc.

First of all, Yune is winning in that sim you posted but the Ophelia is completely wrong. She should have life and death with blazing light charged right away and the combat should be set to "enemy initiates"

Unless you're aiming for the absolute top, the reward differences between T20 and T21 are marginal.
If you're just trying to coast for the rewards like most people, the effort required to reach and maintain T21 really isn't worth it.

Just build doot and then save grails for Ylgr. It should cost you only 1750 grails to +10 Delthea if you wait for her rerun to get the last merge. Unfortunately TT units cost way more to be fully merged (2700 if I'm correct) but you should eventually get them.

Mostly because she's an incredibly good blue mage, if you don't have an infantry one yet.

Loli Tiki is even harder to get nowadays and we now have new infantry red manakete options such as Garon and Nah, while Adult Tiki still remains really good and very easy to merge and build. Building one nowadays is almost impossible unless you whale hard on banners featuring her (which we just had last week so good luck waiting for another one).

To a degree I suppose, but PoR certainly isn't the least known of FE and Sigrun and Tanith were reasonably popular as far as the characters from the Tellius games go.

Pretty much. Young Tiki has never been worth the effort to get and merge over Adult Tiki, who's been so easy to get and still very solid for a long time. Garons probably better than both now with better mixed defenses and he can even negate his dragon weakness if needed. With Naga existing he just got even more of an an advantage by having that option.

Her -7 res debuff is her inheritable B skill, not anything exclusive to her. Her C skill debuffs are actually less useful than that B skill you can give to anyone. She's a decent green res tank, but that's hardly a worthwhile niche in most cases. it's bad when if she weren't the sole lift-reducing unit for light season defense, I doubt you'd see her at all. And Nino makes her look like a joke for offensive use in general.

Why does her AR thing make her a bad unit though? Hell why is AR the only metric you gauge her by as a unit? Literal garbage units like Selena can be used in AR, fucking Odin is usable in AR. Probably would have really long ears from the manakete side, but also have fur/be completely fluffy depending on the beast. Only manakete/beast mix I can see working is with Tellius birds since their ears are close enough to a manakete's. Real question is how it would look with a beast mix since Flannel has proven that beasts only have one set of beast ears, not two like human ear set+beast ear set.
