>game has a Luck stat
>they never tell you what it does
Game has a Luck stat
>Game has a Luck stat
>The menu claims the Luck stat does nothing
For me it's yunyun
>game has a stache stat
>doesnt tell you what it does
>game has a survival skill
>PC still dies when it is maxed out.
Built for mating press
But it does you fucking retard.
Stache gives you discounts in shops.
>Game doesn’t tell you what it is
>Game is old and dead and none of the guides online know what it does
Made for pump and dump
>luck stat is op and basically breaks the game
>Melee build
>Luck is more useful than Strength
>Game has a luck stat
>Not investing all points into it
>game has a Luck stat
>barely even makes a difference
Also lucky hit rate
are there any rpg's where you can make a viable luck build?
What are some games that make luck actually useful?
Fallout New Vegas is one of them.
SMT4
Demon's Souls
>konosuba is a comedy
>never makes any jokes
Really makes you think
Every Fallout game except 3. Even 4
Saint playing jap exclusive ps1 games in a nutshell
>game has an unconventional fighting skill
>it's ridiculously overpowered when maxed out
Dwarf Fortress does this with half a dozen different skills and it's beautiful
>game has luck stat
>it works wonders
>put a luck stat in my game
>make it do absolutely nothing
>game has six stats you can choose on level up
>2 are actually important
>2 are ok
>2 are almost entirely useless
It Dougs obviously
delete this
name 23,478 (twenty-three thousand four hundred and seventy-eight) games that do this
It basically does the same thing in every game, dumbass. Why does it need explaining?
Slightly better chance for loot/improved chances on luck based games/possibly (but rarely done) improved crit chance/improved chance for random weapon affects to activate. Thats IT.
ALWAYS the most useless skill too might as well just eliminate it
is this an h-game
>Game has a stache stat
>OP has a shit taste
>I have to tell him what it is
>game has a Personality stat
what games have luck builds?
>game has Defense, Resistance and Armor stats
>game has Strength, Attack and Power stat
>game has luck stat
>it literally doesn't do anything, doesn't even affect crit rate or drop chance
Why even bother with it
It makes you lucky.
>equip luck boosting spells and equipment
>still can't get common drops from enemies
Fucking hate CotM for this shit
Fallout 2 dodging jinxed build. Enemies critical failure themselves to death while you overcrit one shot them
>mfw the fingerless glove meter drops to 0
>Find a weapon that requires luck
>luck stat in mmo
>your drop chance has increased from 0.135% to 0.1367%
whoopty fucking doo
Does aqua have sex
>"increased rarity of dropped items" is a stat
>it doesn't actually make it easier to get rare items
>it's a dumbass impractical weapon
Makes sense
Seriously what the fuck did they mean by this? You’ll have spent all that time to get luck equipment then read online that it’s useless.
I honestly think some designers feel they have to include it as a stat but just don't make it do anything major.
Or can't find anything creative to do with it.
Built for pregnancy and a loving family
>10 luck
>enter casino with 100caps
>Leave with 15000
Luck is fun
I don´t remember the game but there was one where luck increased the chance of low rarity items to drop which decreased the chance for the rare items you actually wanted.
99% of devs suck when it comes to the luck stat.
>items have minus luck
>stacking this flips the luck stat to max luck
>Luck and Agi give massive dodge, attack speed and crits
>Nerf the shit out of agi by making it so you lose geometrically more the more mobs are attacking you
>Simultaneously make boss monsters constantly respawn tons of mobs
>entire class becomes shit overnight
Putting all your points in stache is the only acceptable way to play M&L
>Strength stat
>Literally does nothing
>Stats have soft caps but you wont know about them unless you read online discussions
name one game that does this
>increases your luck at getting hit by bullets
>Not making Mario the glass canon
>Not making Luigi the defensive Stache master
>it actually does nothing
>Want to try DEX or Magic build
>Still have to put points in Strength otherwise I can't carry anything
>Picking one stat too much causes the game to force you to pick another one
BoI
>Main Rogue.
>Not affected by AGI nerf cause use Sneak + Riot for massive deeps anyway.
Sucks for you sinfag.
>game has a luck stat
>it's busted and doesn't actually do anything
>go full magic build and stats
>die in 2 hits because the game has no magic defense spells.
>character has luck/gambling themed attacks
>Game has a luck stat
>Completely breaks the economy
games has:
>fire/lightning/cold resistance
>poison/acid resistance
>vitality resistance
>bleed resistance
>chaos resistance
>aether resistance
>psyhical resistance
>stun resistance
>lifeleech/mana resistance
>Disruption resistance
>sleep resistance
>petrify
>freeze
>slow
and only use 1-3 spells to attack
Does it not? I guess it was just obvious enough that I didn't notice.
What else could it be other than crit chance and discounts?
>having 8 luck is better than 99 luck
I love and hate these systems, like you can get in-depth with shit but it takes a while to get used to what does what.
Same thing with defense too, I hated that shit.
But yeah it's worse for rogues and assassins since it's all or nothing and sins don't even get to use racial shields.
The solution?
Get so much flee that you have around a hundred more than needed (good luck with that) so that even if ten enemies are attacking you you have enough to retain enough flee to still be flee capped on them... and then you remember that you can't reduce enemy chance to hit below 5%, which sounds pretty low until you've got a dozen fuckers attacking you abd getting hit constantly anyway through sheer attrition.
>Luck State
Basically gives you constant out of jail cards
It's rare but I hate when a game does this
>oh what's that, you're picking the only viable stat for this character? please, pick anything else, even if every other option is awful
>constitution is a dump stat
fuck you DAO and Pillars.
increases crits and makes store items cheaper IIRC
>Playing M&L games as a kid
>Don't know what Stache stat does
>Sounds fun, I'll just dump everything into that!
>Proceed to waste every level up and be underpowered
Oldschool Ragnarok Online
RIP crit sins, you had a good run.
Guess you should try leveling it up faggot. It might be bad, but it might be good. Guess it depends on how lucky you are.
>Game has a luck stat
>Go to a casino
How is it a dump stat?
>Luck stat
>'It affects a variety of things!'
>get to choose one of a number of items based off the description
>the description is a flat-out lie
>mysterious trinket
>does fuck all
Seiken Densetsu 3 does this and 2 of the 6 skills are completely worthless due to glitches
Dark Souls 3, but it doesn't pay off until super late in the game. But stat re-allocation is a thing, so you can try it out without playing the whole game like that.
>game has charisma stat
>purpose is to alter certain dialogue options
>the total number of unique dialogue opportunities in the game can be counted on one hand
>game has a temporary party member that's a straight upgrade over the main heroine
Dragon age: get majority of HP from leveling
Pillars, a full 25% more on your base, which means if you get 4 hp, you waist 8 points for an extra 1 per level or something like that.
No you horny retard
Holy shit I never knew. what's the best stat in DAO anyway?
Man I wish I found the book familiar earlier, I just got it a couple hours ago and it's fucking awesome
Its intended to be one of those situational comedies
>upgrade
>Class that instantly mirrors the opponents stats and abilities, only retains its native max health
>Equipment that boosts Speed making it always go first
>Kill people with their own builds
Cunning
>game has a Strength stat and Attack stat
Literally what's the point
What?
BOI
binding of isaac probably
Oblivion
Are you memeing me or are you being serious? and why?
>get 3 stat points a level
>2 in STR, 1 in AGI every level
Who else
Not me, agi is for nerds, I always put everything in STR
Well fed and happy kids
>autist enough to watch anime
>autism so high it can't undertand the the humor in the situation
I bet you never honked
>game has swim stat
Dark souls 3 basically
crit damage benefits all
This shit is why I dropped Dragon Marked for Death
Built for thrust until dust
Dark souls 3 before it got patched
not luck, but Magic in the SNES version of FFV. You can underflow your magic stat and it rolls back around to 99, so Rune Axe/Sword deal a fuckton of damage.
Built for cuddling and fucking.
