Also lucky hit rate

are there any rpg's where you can make a viable luck build?

What are some games that make luck actually useful?
Fallout New Vegas is one of them.

SMT4

Demon's Souls

It Dougs obviously

delete this

name 23,478 (twenty-three thousand four hundred and seventy-eight) games that do this

It basically does the same thing in every game, dumbass. Why does it need explaining?

Slightly better chance for loot/improved chances on luck based games/possibly (but rarely done) improved crit chance/improved chance for random weapon affects to activate. Thats IT.

ALWAYS the most useless skill too might as well just eliminate it

is this an h-game

Does aqua have sex

>"increased rarity of dropped items" is a stat
>it doesn't actually make it easier to get rare items

>it's a dumbass impractical weapon

Makes sense

Seriously what the fuck did they mean by this? You’ll have spent all that time to get luck equipment then read online that it’s useless.

I honestly think some designers feel they have to include it as a stat but just don't make it do anything major.

Or can't find anything creative to do with it.

Built for pregnancy and a loving family

>10 luck
>enter casino with 100caps
>Leave with 15000
Luck is fun

I don´t remember the game but there was one where luck increased the chance of low rarity items to drop which decreased the chance for the rare items you actually wanted.

99% of devs suck when it comes to the luck stat.

>items have minus luck
>stacking this flips the luck stat to max luck

>Luck and Agi give massive dodge, attack speed and crits
>Nerf the shit out of agi by making it so you lose geometrically more the more mobs are attacking you
>Simultaneously make boss monsters constantly respawn tons of mobs
>entire class becomes shit overnight

Does it not? I guess it was just obvious enough that I didn't notice.
What else could it be other than crit chance and discounts?

>having 8 luck is better than 99 luck

Attached: 114278283.jpg (1000x714, 200K)

I love and hate these systems, like you can get in-depth with shit but it takes a while to get used to what does what.

Same thing with defense too, I hated that shit.
But yeah it's worse for rogues and assassins since it's all or nothing and sins don't even get to use racial shields.
The solution?
Get so much flee that you have around a hundred more than needed (good luck with that) so that even if ten enemies are attacking you you have enough to retain enough flee to still be flee capped on them... and then you remember that you can't reduce enemy chance to hit below 5%, which sounds pretty low until you've got a dozen fuckers attacking you abd getting hit constantly anyway through sheer attrition.

>Luck State

It's rare but I hate when a game does this
>oh what's that, you're picking the only viable stat for this character? please, pick anything else, even if every other option is awful

>constitution is a dump stat
fuck you DAO and Pillars.

increases crits and makes store items cheaper IIRC

Oldschool Ragnarok Online

RIP crit sins, you had a good run.

Guess you should try leveling it up faggot. It might be bad, but it might be good. Guess it depends on how lucky you are.

Seiken Densetsu 3 does this and 2 of the 6 skills are completely worthless due to glitches

Dark Souls 3, but it doesn't pay off until super late in the game. But stat re-allocation is a thing, so you can try it out without playing the whole game like that.

>game has charisma stat
>purpose is to alter certain dialogue options
>the total number of unique dialogue opportunities in the game can be counted on one hand

>game has a temporary party member that's a straight upgrade over the main heroine

Pillars, a full 25% more on your base, which means if you get 4 hp, you waist 8 points for an extra 1 per level or something like that.

No you horny retard

Holy shit I never knew. what's the best stat in DAO anyway?

Man I wish I found the book familiar earlier, I just got it a couple hours ago and it's fucking awesome

Its intended to be one of those situational comedies

>upgrade

Dark souls 3 basically

crit damage benefits all

This shit is why I dropped Dragon Marked for Death

Built for thrust until dust

Dark souls 3 before it got patched

not luck, but Magic in the SNES version of FFV. You can underflow your magic stat and it rolls back around to 99, so Rune Axe/Sword deal a fuckton of damage.

Built for cuddling and fucking.
