Is this game actually worth playing? I've tried to get started like 8 times and it's such a fucking slog. I've only ever made it to the tall golems before getting bored, does it ever get better? I loved every other souls game.

I beat it and played some of the DLC but I just didn't like it. It's like if Dark Souls was made to be played in an arcade but half way into production they decided to just release it as a console game.

I hoped that this site could get its shit together at some point but we just keep on diving deeper and deeper into shit. Most don't even talk like real people anymore and it's just bizarre.

DLC in Dark Souls 2 is good, but saying it's better than 3 is only half right. Ariandel is shit obviously, but Ringed City is by far the best DLC in the Souls series.
