It last around an hour of online play, it multiply the wumap coin you gain by 5 or something like that.
After that time it start a cooldown and you ahve to wait hours before it will reactivate.

It's basically a prefention to farm too many coin in a single day.

there's only one campaign with two different modes: classic and nitro fueled. the only difference is that in the nitro fueled mode you can choose the difficulty, switch characters and use all cosmetics.

or alternatively buy a different character and hope he appears in the place of the one you just bought

Wumpa Time is on an hidden cooldown, once it ends, it will start coundint it's time from the firt onlime natch you play and from that point you have around an hour of bonus coin.

But hard on here I'm really having a challenge winning. I actually lost. It might be because I was getting myself adjusted to how this plays but it's harder.
Also Pinstripe was ridiculous. Oxide was way easier. It took me about 3 attempts to beat Pinstripe, the amount of bombs he bowls is too much.

Just drift boost consistently and then run over a boost pad to trigger it. Then keep drift boosting to maintain it.

In mystery caves, I took an easy lap to look for the C T R letters, and in the second and third round, I was able to catch up with all 3 letters, just work on it, its more attainable than you realize.

I understand the 60fps fags and am one myself but after playing it, it’s fine, a very smooth 30fps with a very good subtle blur that helps, along with none of the input lag sometimes associated with 30fps.

Medium is a little too easy but I wish hard mode wasn't so inconsistent. Some tracks I can speed ahead but others are just a complete clusterfuck where I'm consistently in 7th or 8th, and if it's a track with no shortcuts you have to rely purely on getting good items to stand a chance.
A balance between medium and hard would be ideal.

Okay, some think I may have figured out why the game feels floaty to me. If I remember correctly, in the original I used to turn direction first, then jump to start power siding. However, in this game it's jump first and THEN turn direction.

It sort of eliminated the floaty feel for me as my character wouldn't turn in a direction I didn't want anymore, but it's still not the same. I played only a couple of races like this so I'll see if I'm right.

Does anyone else notice the forced drops in certain stages that let you fall down naturally? Specifically in Cortex Castle at the end and Oxide Station's big boost jump (which I assume was to fix the bug where you could zone out by going too fast with a mask on).

Once you have blue boost, if you keep boosting after it pretty much lasts indefinitely so long as you don't brush any walls.

If you can win races on hard mode you will almost always win online. Hard mode is unironically hard, which is nice but Oxide is fucking ridiculous, especially since you can't just cheese his track any more.

Boosts last a certain amount of time, and the time stacks the more you boost. For the sake of ease, we'll pretend they're all 2 seconds long. So let's say you boost 5 times in the course of 5 seconds. That's 10 seconds gained, with 5 seconds used. That'd mean you have 5 seconds of reserves left over, which is 5 seconds of boosting. If you keep stacking more boosts you can increase this number higher.

I beat Oxide on the first try, the two hot air skyway levels (the race and the boss fight) took me HOURS

Yes, basically. You don't need to think very hard about it. Just make sure you boost as often as possible and don't touch any walls. Hitting a wall makes you lose all of your reserves.

Apparently there's a shortcut to bypass it, but you have the chance of getting run over if you dont go fast enough. Just take the mineshaft immediately to the right.

The tracks were great because they were designed with CTR physics in mind, but Universal being Universal, they wanted the game out earlier than they originally intended so Vicarious Visions basically had to ship the game with unfinished physics and mechanics, essentially pre-alpha tier stuff. So the tracks were awesome but complete ass to play. With Nitro-Fueled, they finally get a chance to shine.

If only christ would allow this song to be in the game then it'd be perfect.

So, pick a character, a set of wheels, etc that you want to build.
Then buy only that type until you get the one you want, or until refresh shows stuff you want.
