It has fantastic writing
Fuck heads
Explosive, stylish, cinematic madness.
It has an amazing OST, so does the 2nd game. I found the actual games to be boring but I will still go back and listen to the soundtracks once in a while.
Writing, combat, and aesthetics. Also Travis's VA is based.
Forgot about the OST. That's a huge part of it for me too.
I wonder if Henry ever knew if Jeane existed. You know, before being sliced and diced by Travis.
Assassins
The games are fucking ridiculous. I'm wondering how 3 will top them.
Because it's nerdy and edgy
There a nothing else like Suda51s games and the combat is genuinely engaging
I played Killer7 on release and wanted back on Suda's wild ride. NMH, despite its flaws, was very entertaining and the soundtrack was great.
I didn't really feel the game until I played bitter mode
Bitter is surprisingly fun.
It's moe and fresh
>E3 twitch stream
>breaded fuck saying Teavis is juvenile, male fantasy, blah, blah
>RAD cuts him off and immediately says "yeah, he's cool"
Had a good chuckle. But yeah, NMH has simple, yet satisfying gameplay, and killer style both visually and musically. Very much excited for NMHIII being a sentai game. The addition of even basic skill chips like force push and dash are going to be a real game changer
Because I watched all cutscenes on Youtube
This
Can't find a video of this for shit. Do you know if it's been uploaded to youtube or anything?
It's the segment right after they aired the F*ckhead trailer. I can try to find it. It was an awful interview
It's from the Twitch interview on the 12th, but I can't find it either now. Everyone just clipped the air jerkoff
>you will never have a high quality replica of Travis’s jacket
It’s not fair bros
That's good enough actually, I found the vod where the interview happens so I'll just watch the whole thing (may as well). ty user
>Everyone just clipped the air jerkoff
not him but do you have the webm? I forgot to save it
I do not, sorry friend.
Unfortunately, there's not a lot to take away from the interview
fantastic voice acting, the writing is fantastic as well. Gameplay is satisfying and easy to learn
nmh3 looks like shit.. fighting robots and aliens is fucking gay and probably the result of some chink censorship or some shit like every corporate entity is doing to please the chink market fuck suda
Just caught that line, the interviewer in general doesn't seem that knowledgable about the game since he didn't even realize RAD voices Travis. That honestly makes the exchange even worse.
Otaku who wanted to get laid
Also, too lazy to webm it, but here's the timestamp for the jackoff:
twitch.tv/videos/438052159?t=44m40s
that was the best part, now travis has to be a "badass"
gracias
Yeah, he really likes the gun enemies though! I thought the articles and interviews leading up to TSA's release were bad, but that took the cake. I hope Suda doesn't incorporate too much "fan" input into NMHIII
For me, it's the 25th Ward.
For me, it’s FSR
NMH might be the only game to make good use of that stupid wiimote speaker.
God that shit was so good.
I'm getting that DS feeling...
>that silver eye on the Chad
Good shit
Where did you get the Silver Case font from?
I didn't make it, I stole it off twitter.

Really fun writing
Good mood
Interesting visuals
This is all in spite of gameplay mechanics that are pretty basic and actual combat instances that are pretty repetitive outside of boss fights
I hope 3 marries TSA mechanics with motion control combat from 1/2 to have an actually good combat system with minimal flaws
It's weird that he eventually did get laid.
It's weirder to think he's canonically had more sex than Dante.
where the FUCK is the FSR PC remaster??
reminder that she should've been the final boss instead of Jasper Twat Jr.
The style, the music, the humor, and the gameplay at times could be kinda fun, but it’s definitely not a series carries solely by the strength of its gameplay
Here’s hoping NMH3 uses TSA’s story threads
I wanna see the West’s Milky Way Hole Brothers again
after TSA and that trailer I'm fucking hyped for NMH3, also can we post some predictions in this thread?
I predict that there will be highly entertaining dialogue and bossfights.
It's a fun sword dueling game, had plenty of style and personality, and a surprisingly good video game story.
>Dante is probably around 50
>Bayo is a 500 year old wine aunt
>Travis is 40 and a father of two
Every action game protagonist is getting fucking old.
Last game I played was NMH2 years ago, Why does Travis look different at the start of the trailer for 3?
he's 40 now
Despite the mediocre gameplay and unlikable protagonist, the crazy boss battles and over the top action is a series worth playing.
I approve.
Writing wise it’s a pretty interesting condemnation of the “video games but in real life” fantasy many Otaku have by really going in depth about what it would actually be like to be someone like Travis- you live in a shitty hotel, you fight in shitty run down abandoned locations, you fight genuine scum, and you’re so wrapped up in your own fantasies that you can’t see the writing on the wall that not only is what you’re doing morally wrong, but the whole world around you is just as fucked up as you are
I think it's kind of funny (but also disappointing) how so many people only took it at face value as exactly what it was mocking.
I think the nice thing about NMH (at least the first game, haven't played TSA yet) was that it could be enjoyed on both levels. If you wanted to watch some guy with a lightsaber cut an asshole superhero in half, that was satisfying. If you wanted to enjoy it as an off-beat but largely standard hero's journey type thing, that was also satisfying. And if you wanted to sit down and think about what was actually going on in the subtext, that was also really satisfying (while the intentional silliness kept you from disappearing too far up your own ass like a games journalist.)
aside from the aesthetics, the characters, good soundtrack and the weirdo storyline, it had fun combat that made good use of the wiimote. I wouldn't imagine it being nearly as good on ps3.
It really wasn't. They also totally butchered the graphics and removed Heavenly Star.
I didn't
I just want SUDA to be successful so he can do actual games that he enjoys doing.
God, TSA was like a fever dream. I can't wait for NMH3.
Not only did we get TSA this year, but an announcement for NMHIII next year. This must be how banjobros feel. Too good to be true. I watch the trailer everyday just to make sure it's actually still happening
>removed Heavenly Star
that's fucked
Never played a Suda game before and the guy had a lightsaber where he jacks off to power it up. Bought it pretty cheap.
In a word, charm. It's why anyone likes any Suda game.
