Steel Division 2

This game just released yesterday. Thoughts?

it's not RUSE which makes me upset.

Its fun, the army general mode is the best singleplayer system they've made yet. Shame its crashing a lot rn.

I think the campaign in SD1 was more fun personally.

Tailor-made scenarios are more fun to play than a bunch of AI skirmishes attached on a string.

>crashing a lot rn
thanks for saving me money

wtf is that tiger model

For me, I enjoy the meta layer that this campaign system gives you, cause it gives those ai skirmishes more meaning and I really like how your army wears down over the course of operations from taking casualties.
Its only the Army General mode, multi and regular skirmishes work fine for some reason.

not wargame 4 so I don't care, I hope Eugen goes under

Why are wargame only fans so autistic?
You got 3 games, two of which were really good.

>mfw there will never be a sequel to ruse

Who /Vanguard/ here?

>tfw winning games by the end of phase A

Its the patrician choice, why wait till late game when you can win now?
Although I usually go maverick because I can't rush hard enough in A

I miss the intro-videos to the SD1 campaign missions, those really got me ready to kick some ass

bump

Don't bother user, Yea Forums is not a good place to talk about videogames. Better just let this thread die so a /pol/ thread or the latest ebin meme can take its place.

What's your favorite division?

What are your favorite units?

Tiger E

>Barely know what I'm doing, only practise is RUSE and Wargame
>Just start throwing shit tons of T-34s at the enemy
>It works

Are battles still crazy fast?
Needs to slow way down so the micromanagement is actually doable. Like close combat.

this.

just play on half speed

anime pedofags being mentally ill as per usual

stay mad

They left red dragon in an unbalanced state to go make ANOTHER ww2 game. That sucked.

die

no u

As much as I would like them to fix it I don't think they're ever going to touch wargame red dragon again.

Are battles still light speed so you have to play like starcraft, or can you actually take your time this time around? Why was EE the only one to have a nice pace in multiplayer battles?

Also are the single player battle maps just the multiplayer maps, or is there some kind of variety? I dont want to fight the same handful of maps over and over in completely different areas

of course multi and single share maps. why would they limit a map to just one mode?

So all the single player battles are just fought in the same handful of multiplayer maps, guess I'll get it off a keysite fuck Eugen

If you play a regular or juggernaut division you can force you have to defend and take it slow for 40 minutes until you can unleash your 170/200 income.

Also there isn't a fixed timer on multiplayer matches meaning if there's a stalemate it can drag on forever.

Personally I prefer to go vanguard and win in 10 minutes because things get tedious past 40 minutes and then it comes down to an attrition fight.

>man this game sounds like shit, guess I will have to play it
get a life loser

>Many iconic units are missing
>Unit AI can't really handle vehicles without a turret well
>Like 6 armies are already locked out for DLC
Not that impressed by it.

>>Many iconic units are missing
Which ones?
