HR is actually a masterpiece though desu

Correct. The second game is garbage though.

HR is worse than IW

>5 years to make an unfinished copy paste sequel

Bravo Edios

This. Fuck Montreal and fuck the piss filter.

I wouldn't call them masterpieces as they're iterating on the gameplay mechanics and tropes of the previous games. But they're damn good games.
MD is mechanically much more sophisticated than the first one, and it's a shame it didn't sell well. Every little bit of that game reeks of polish and care, excepting maybe the supporting cast.

Nothing is worse than invisible war, not even underworld ascendant. You would know if you had spent even half an hour playing it at all.

It's underrated, although I can see why people who paid the full price were disappointed. It's worth picking up now that it's cheaper, and it's on Game Pass too.

Both good games. Yes that includes MD, fuck the haters.

>Yea Forums is shitting
If you make enough Deus Ex threads Yea Forums will start shitting on these two as well.

>HR is actually a masterpiece though desu
no it's fucking not
it's a terrible, mechanically barebones stealth game that has been ruined by the dialogue wheel

they are great games, mankind divided is a flawed masterpiece honestly. both will provide you many playthroughs just like the original game

This hub is good.

>back in 2012 asked for a game that was like bamham
>get told to play deus ex
>it's nothing like bamham

fuckin' Yea Forums

HR is decent, MD is better on every aspect except the main story.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be a masterpiece but I don't know if we should expect it to be an open-world Immersive Sim.

>follow the glowing marker
>press [E] to play the knockout cutscene
The Deus Ex sequels are even worse than the Mass Effect sequels. Good games should never have sequels at all.

Both of those are amazing, yes.

Mankind Divided was really enjoyable, I don't know why it received so much hate.

The pacing was really bad and it does too much franchise building.

no it isnt, remaster removes piss

the Detroit & Chinktown are so much better than Prague

does anyone who complains about quest markers realize you can just turn them off and the game is all the better?

>Left: Soul
>Right: Soulless

>expect it to be an open-world Immersive Sim
Doubt it. I can't recall any. I think immsims benefit from using enclosed, but detailed environments.

>2011
Real Jensen
>2016
Fucking fake

MD doesn't even have quest markers on by default

HR was really good, ending was retarded though

MD had a good ending all things considered. The final mission had a ton of variables.

I thoroughly enjoyed both. I just wish Mankind Divided was slightly more varied.
I also wish they didn't keep doing DLC that clearly could fit right into the main game, but is stripped out and separated for no good reason. Sure, go ahead and sell it, but don't make it a completely separate menu option with completely separate progression too. That's just dumb

Adam in MD is actually a clone with deep subconscious programmed orders to find Janus for the Illuminati

You mean that DLC is fine, but you want it accessible in game?

Well, I'd rather not have to pay for it, but I think the bigger problem is that it's stripped out. Having to re-level all over again playing content that is a fraction of the length of the main game is lame. Especially when the content clearly belongs in the main story timeline, like the one where you go to to the Tarvos office

>clone
I still can't believe they didn't expand on the idea. A lot of the things were suggesting that. Fuck, this could've been really good and now the series is on hold, because selling half a game is never a good idea.

They were both great, hope we get another after cyberpunk does well

They were clearly going to get to it in the sequel. My worry is that it would have come off cliche. Just look at how the original Deus Ex brushes off the non-twist that JC is a clone.

I couldn't get into Mankind Divided. I like Prague IRL, but I thought the games recreation was kinda bad. Felt like a step back and a bit bland.

hr was true cyberpunk at least
really fun game. didn't play the sequel tho

I never asked for this

The train station one was pretty clearly stripped out of the main game to be sold separate.
It just sucks to go back to the DLC after beating the game and being used to playing as a spec'd out character with full inventory.

imo they should have cut it into the main story as missions if you own it, that way you don't break progression but the story still works. Fans have identified the exact spots where the DLC's would fit too, it's pretty obvious.

I think they were planning to expand on it in the next one. The mission "Investigate the mystery augs" never gets marked as complete. FUCK Square Enix

I agree with you there. My guess is that it was planned to be integrated Director's Cut style but the game was deemed a failure and they never released one.

i hated both. Terrible in every regard. Shit story, shit choices, shit gameplay, shit visuals. Need I say more?

series is buried now anyway, SE has moved the studio onto capeshit "games as a service" titles

The only good deus ex is the original everything else is fan fiction. The combat in Deus Ex is the pleb filter.

Yeah and Sekiro combat is just like bamham too
