Some people dislike how they gave bright colors to the pre-rendered areas that were completely remade in full 3d.

Other people were disappointed by how it was basically an enhanced port rather than a full remake. Textures were completely redone and various models touched up, but note that characters that didn't have modeled fingers for example still don't have them in the 3ds games since they're using mostly the same animations.
