its called a suppressor fuckwit
and to use it properly you should also use subsonic ammunition, which opposed to supersonic ammunition, as you can imagine, has less muzzle velocity, which means less energy. so suppressed guns DO less damage to a target at any given range compared to guns using full power ammunition.
