Because people are dumb
Same reason consoles are popular when PC gaming is superior in every single way
It is hands down the best temple. People got butthurt because they missed that one key underground.
Water Temple is great
>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CONTRARIAN YOU ONLY LIKE IT BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE HATES IT
Literally the most brainlet tier response ever, but why would Water Temple loving chads be surprised that a brainlet who thinks like that would also hate the water temple?
OoT was a fucking great game, no doubt about it, and every dungeon in the game felt like an actual dungeon and yet the water temple did it best for me. I have nothing bad to say about any of the other dungeons, they're all fucking stellar but the water temple was like a watery labyrinth. It was great.
Confusing to navigate and changing boots was annoying as fuck in the N64 version
It's fine otherwise
They did good fixing those problems in the 3DS version. Original version is just so tedious it's not fun. Dark Link fight is amazing though
kids with ADHD who think 3 seconds is a long time.
forest temple was better
Most of the problems with the water temple revolved around constantly having to change boots in the menus. In the 3DS version the temple is fixed, if youve only played that version youre gonna have a different take on it.
>Amazing miniboss
No, Dark Link is an input reading little bastard if you use the Master Sword but can't deal with anything else. It's either annoying or trivial. I agree with everything else.
Great Bay Temple is the superior water dungeon
BEST TEMPLE, COMING THROUGH!
Plebs don't know you can get everything with only one temple flip.
Best theme
It is a literal pleb filter and the reason we don't get more complicated puzzles in popular games
This and stories of retards getting confounded from the most simple puzzles in play tests confirms to me that most people are in fact retarded
Replaying this temple was incredibly satisfying and is probably one of my favorites in the whole series, its big and interconnected and if you actually PAY ATTENTION to whats happening around you its not hard in the least. I think the only thing that slipped me up was not turning around in the inside tower and missing a key or something similar.
It took me on and off 4 years to beat the water temple, and of course it was that one block in the main tower that surfaces to reveal a basement level.
Then Majoras Mask I couldn't figure out that invisible faggot who blows you off the path and nearly ripped my manual up in a fit of kidrage
FUCK NO.
I love Majora's Mask, and I was so hyped for this temple the first time I played the game a couple of years ago only to be nothing but frustrated by it. Having to play that fucking elegy of emptiness every time was even worse than the boots in the water temple.
Great Bay and Stonetower were much superior to this one.
Because of the key at the very bottom of it. I don't remember why it was so hard to find anymore but it took me longer then anything else in the game.
You only have to play it like 5 times in the temple proper.
What's the best two-game experience, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, or Ocarina/Majora?
nobody is only going to play it 5 times their first run through the temple.
The oracles. They're actually connected and don't feel janky to play even to this day.
>They're actually connected and don't feel janky to play even to this day.
Amazing, everything you said is wrong
hating water temple is a meme, it's comfy as fuck.
ok, kid
It's a fantastic temple that was held back by the n64 menu. The 3ds put it up there with the ancient cistern and spirit temple for me. Shame about the bottom of the well.
Look at this. Now this is BASED design.
It's visually boring and tedious
Based
>haha water temple so hard man
>dude dark souls so hard man u dont even know
>man vanilla wow so hard
What is normies obsession with overplaying difficulty? Water temple is just more tedious than the other temples, and not even much if youre not a brainlet
>swimming/traversing large bodies of water for any long period of time in games is rarely ever done right.
>having to de-equip and re-equip boots every few minutes just to progress is annoying
Every fucking time I replay this I forget one small key. No, its not the one in the bottom of the tower. I always remember that one but end up forgetting one of the others
I hate being a memorylet
You don't need to be a memoryCHAD. Just go thoroughly through each chamber as you get to it and the temple solves itself.
>drop to bottom, see fishtits
>follow her up, lower the water
>drop to bottom again
>do every room at bottom layer
>raise water 1 step, do every room there etc.
Its the same redditors who say the second half of Dark souls 1 is bad
>>Amazing miniboss
nigger what
it was just button mashing or using the hammer
>the only temple in the game that offers any sort of challenge whatsoever, but isn't that hard
>people act as if it's some ball-busting affront to god
I despise zelda fans
It's just a pleb filter for fucktards who can't think methodically.
One of my favorite temples
This, and "but menus suuuuuuck!" are pretty much it
>check every nook and cranny
>memorize the layout to not get lost
>reach dark Link
>get the longshot
>still get stuck anyways because you forgot the blue box right behind the chest
Nah, fuck that noise.
People hate it? I thought they only disliked equipping the boots, but the temple itself is fantastic.
Looks dammed amazing. Post the rest of the dungeons if you have them.
Daily reminder that the fire temple is just a worse version of dodongo's cavern and nobody ever hates that
amazing music, amazing temple, amazing design all unfortunately held back by having to go in and out of menus constantly to put on the boots.
for fuck sake you have to understand that console is at BEST half of the price of a decent PC, and most people use laptops because its much more convenient for studying / working, I'd love to have an insanely good pc but it's too expensive and most games I want to play already exist on consoles I own, as for the awesome but small indie games like dead cells, enter the gungeon or whatever, most of them run on laptops, so really, unless you're dedicated, theres no point in buying one.
Dark Link fight is kino.
>wtf how do I open the door
>there's nowhere else to go
>there's nothing in this room except a tree and
>Oh
