Pathologic 2.
It's kind of a slow starter and honestly I feel a little like I'm in the deep end of a pool without knowing how to swim. Not quite drowning yet but any second I might start

Oh shit. I'm also playing Pathologic 2. Things really started going tits up on Day 4 for me.

kenshi it's like Cock and ball torture in video game form

Links Awakening remake got me curious to see how the original holds up so I decided to boot it up on the 3DS.

Honestly outside of some parts like fetch quests to get into Kanaret castle and the constant item-swapping, shit still holds up amazingly well. It needs less of a remake and more of a mod that would just bind the sword to a single button.

And not to get into the SOUL/SOULLESS argument, but having grown up with the GB version of LA its legit the only real version in my head. Unless I have that crunchy GB soundchip and screen-based transitions it just won't feel the same. No harm in people checking out the remake but I'm probably gonna give it a hard pass since it likely won't appeal to me.

Bloodstained.
This is exactly the stapling-together of every game Iga's made before now that it should've been, but MAN, are the trappings wretched. It's no small wonder that the public opinion taken from previews was so negative.

Bloodstained, and its great. I don't get why niggers like this guy are whining about the 'trappings' when the reception to the game is very positive; the visuals aren't the best but they're not terrible, and the animations and character/monster designs are solid. The music is pure Castlevania.

>the visuals aren't the best but they're not terrible
That's the trappings, and no, the environments are pretty staggeringly bad. Zero Time Dilemma bad. The backer stuff is pretty seriously intrusive, and there's more words in each conversation than there are in the entirety of Aria's story.
I hope it does well and gets a sequel because it's clear Iga still knows what a video game and scenario writing are, and pretty much all of the problems would be eliminated by having a real development studio and not resorting to kickstarter.

>Zero Time Dilemma bad.
Horseshit. The worst area is the fire one and even thats not ZTD bad. The idea that the game is visually wretched is nonsense.

Also who the fuck calls the visuals of the game the "trappings"? You know what that word means right?

phoenix wright is a defense attorney

Iceborne beta, it's pretty good for now

Final Fantasy XIV
I don't normally like MMOs, but it's pretty fun.

I'm playing modded minecraft, I find it relaxing. I binge on it every year or so to see what updates or new mods have came out.

city of heroes

gameplay is so much better than I remember, but the community has way too many trannies and furries now, its hard to get a team of all golden age heroes I really miss that

trannies need gas chambers

Gothic 4 arcania.
just started it a few hours ago , its quite easy maybe cuz I've finished 1 and 2 before

Finally playing through Vampire: The Masquerade and it's everything I was told it was going to be. I'm enjoying it a lot and I can't wait for my second playthrough.

I'm nearing the end of my second ever Okami playthrough, too. Just got to Kamui.

game is super mega dogshit you just put up with the bad combat and up and down story (mostly bad but the peaks are pretty high even by FF standards) for the graphics and minigames

Phoenix is a defence attorney though? Only way he can send me to jail is through his own incompetence, for which I'll sue him in negligence.
Aussies and Brits with advocates' immunity in negligence can fuck off

>Fire Emblem 6
It's pretty good. I'm having a lot of fun!

Botw. Its fun but tedious.

Monster Hunter World and I'm digging it so far

my own game and it's shit (right now)

The Silver Case. It's pretty fun and the interface is really neat. I think I'm too low IQ for the puzzles though.

Dark Souls 1
>Remove backstabs and encourage parrying.
>Fix the netcode.
>Don't divide up the invasion areas in the painted world of Ariamis.
>Let the gravelord sign be stationary, don't make it follow the host's position.
>Fix Demon Ruins.
>Fix Lost Izaleth.
>Fix New Londo.
>Let us powerstance with fist weapons at the very least.
>Add a penalty system for disconnecting with phantoms in the world.
>Let us warp to ANY bonfire with the lordvessel.
>Remove darkwood ninja flip ring, then let us have 3 ring slots.

Game's flawed as shit, but I love it to bits.

DOOM 2016

Its good

Vampire the Masquerade, it was very fun but I reached chinatown but the backtracking for sidequests is getting to me and it's starting to drag

> Mega Man 8
It's mid, I wish the levels weren't focused on "look at this cool thing we can do on the playstation" and just made a good 2d platformer

Super Naughty Maid 2
It released today!

Castlevania 1
Don’t know what to tell you Nick, it’s a classic.
Also, The Silver Case.
I haven’t gotten too far yet (just finished #1:decoyman last night), but I’m hooked.
my dude

Started playing Bloodstained last night. It's great so far!

Dark Souls 3 it's fun I have played it a lot already though several hundreds of hours, luckily my memory is bad so it's like I'm doing everything fresh.

I have a special place in my heart reserved for GBC era games and their general aesthetic, so I feel you. Check out Princess Remedy if you haven't already. Agree on the sword binding, sort of feels like a step down from older zelda's where sword+shield was default and you got one item on top of that. I guess at the time it was innovative in that you could have two items ready to use at the same time? In any case, the remake looks to be it's own thing, and seems great.

Prey 2017. Initially quite spooky and tense but quickly turns into alien murder simulator. The freedom from the onset is very neat.

That's never stopped him in the past

Dai Gyakuten Saiban 1! I'm on chapter 3.

FFX, cute

Do you think its because we grew up with it, or is there something to the GBC aestetic that is genuinely artistically pleasing? The minimalistic look and crunchy sound just makes me all warm and fuzzy in a way modern graphics don't. Its like its got just enough fidelity to display what it needs to, so your imagination helps a lot in immersing yourself in the simple art style.

Minecraft
Fun as fuck, especially when you listen to music/podcast/stream in the background
Combine this with the rainy weather here and it’s max comfy

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Really enjoying it, never have played a game like this before. On the 3rd chapter (samurai actor) and the only thing I can say is that all the backtracking and movement related stuff kind of sucks, also you get a sort of Flinstones effect where the game feels cheaply made by how they recycle set pieces and characters. Hope sequels fix these problems as it's a genuinely unique and charming game.

I was a kid in the GBA era, so no I don't think it's purely a nostalgia thing. Your description puts it very well.

Fallout 4 with Frost mod installed
Difficult but entertaining

Last night I played Splatoon 2.

Minecraft
But also Yu-Gi-Oh!

Attached: unknown.png (1920x1040, 1.22M)

>Was it racist propaganda?

Keep going user, glad to hear you like it so far! I'd argue the sequels cut down on the backtracking and pixel hunt stuff significantly, so the investigation bits flow a lot better.

Make sure you get through the entire first trilogy, second game has some arguably pretty slow bits but the peaks are insane and well worth the journey

user HOLD IT!!!! FIRST OF ALL I DIDN'T THERE WAS A MINECRAFT YU-GI-OH MOD.
SECOND WHAT IS IT CALLED YOU BETTER TELL ME RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm excited! I've got pretty much all of the pre-3ds ones, as well a fan-translation of the miles-edgeworth sequel if I get really into the series. Also have yet to get into the Professor Layton games as well so looking forward to that.

Crimson Needle 3
Recently finished a very big level that spawned almost 200 different screens and back on to the "normal" game now. This game is fucking amazing.

Just installed Dota Underlords
I've never played one of these auto chess games before and it seems fun but I can't really tell whether I'm winning or losing
I think I've gotten my head wrapped around the alliances and that shit but I don't really understand positioning
