when i was playing riptide i got windows notifications when i got achievements. not sure what other games do, it didn't do that when i played hollow knight or ruiner

I just checked the pass thing out and I cannot for the life of me understand the website. There are big pictures everywhere, my screen is empty half the time I spend scrolling down, there's shit moving left and right. I can't even find an explanation on how the pass works.

I have the xbox game bar activated in windows which is like the nvidia overlay and allows you to record stuff, take screenshots but does more like allowing you to individually adjust volume in game and hardware usage monitors as well. When u I go into a game and I have the groups thing activated in game bar it shows xbox LFG for the game I'm playing and I can just hop into anyone's lobby that are looking for a player.

If you're gonna use game bar make sure its the latest version though as it's the one which has all these features. I personally think its really good because it opens instantly since it's part of windows. When I had nvidia share overlay it would take a few seconds to open I think because it's a separate application running alongside the game. Also I've noticed the game bar uses less CPU when in game compared to shadow play and I guess that's because its actually a part of windows itself. Oh yeah and best thing about it is it can be navigated by a controller (and can be opened by pressing the xbox button if you're using an xbox controller on PC)

Bruh halo reach MP sucks ass compared to 3 it didn't age well. Trust me I owned the Reach Edition 360 and the Reach Statue. Campaign is fine still for the most part

game pass is rental service. you don't stream, you download it to your drive and play it. everything you see on the app catalog can be played on the PC. if you were lucky(smart) enough to get the 3 months for a dollar, you have the entire catalog to play for that buck.

you can also cancel at any time and get a full refund. i've literally done game pass at least 6 times, and refunded all six. microsoft honestly doesn't care.

I think they've said crossplay will be a feature eventually but won't be at launch. I don't mind so much since MCC will sell like hotcakes on Steam but Gears 4 needed crossplay because the game was on life support being Windows Store only

It's a decent enough romp and has some fun sections but the main characters are downgrades from the Marcus and co in every way possible. The forced sarcasm and 'witty' quips get old really quickly. You still meet some familiar faces though. It's worth a playthrough
