I like it. It's a rehash of City but other than that it's a solid entry. What else supposed to be wrong with it? Is the hate from the same NPCs who hate Knight because BATMOBILE BAD?

I loved Origins and i hate that it wasn't part of the remasters
I like it, the main issue is the design of the world and the aesthetics as well, which just honestly is pretty awful. The boss battles as well are somewhat mediocre, especially deadshot.
Never played the multiplayer because it was long dead by the time I got around to playing it, which pisses me off because I like to get all achievements and can't because of that.
That said, I enjoyed playing it. I enjoyed Knight a lot too, the Batmobile was fine, the only problem is there was a little too much of it.
>the main issue is the design of the world
Wasn't it just copy/pasted from City?
I'm playing through it and enjoying it too, the Deathstroke boss fight was great.
honestly a 3/10 shitty off-brand game
It's smaller than City despite coming out much later. Smaller in scope, smaller in content. It has different gadgets that ape the ones from City but are never used again. There's better grapple stuff that is also never used again. It feels off-brand at times, but it's an enjoyable experience (better if you haven't played City, I'm sure).
Yet another Joker as main protag entry
I meant antag, my bad.
There was nothing else they could so for a prequel to a three game trilogy with Joker as the antagonist in all of them, otherwise it would have felt even further disconnected from the Rocksteady games. And despite that the series still covered a lot of ground and did a lot of villains justice so I'm not even sure where the Joker hate boner comes from.
SNOW PHYSICS
Why do you make a thread about it every day? what's worse is how you sound embarrassed and making up excuses for why you like it. The game doesn't warrant any further discussion at this point.
People who do this either suffer from OCD or are expecting some specific answer. I'm guessing you're waiting for people to tell you how this is some kind of masterpiece or something, which it isn't. I think whatever response you were going to get, you already got.
>NPCs who hate Knight because BATMOBILE BAD?
The Batmobile really is shit, though. I actually quite liked Arkham Knight thanks to all the side missions (including the season of infamy or whatever they were called DLC ones) but the main thread of the game is hurt a lot by its insistence on using the Batmobile.
It also has the best story.
Batman is actually a character in this and villains have a purpose instead of just being there to be a rogue gallery.
Batman: Arkham Beyond when??
Despite finding the Nolan movies laughable Origins has my favorite Batman out of the entire Arkham series, he doesn't sound completely bored in this one.
>Despite finding the Nolan movies laughable
What does that have to do with anything?
People always compare Origins Batman to the Nolan one.
>The Batmobile really is shit, though
Why? Initially I wasn't big on it, but the more upgrades I got the more it felt like the high tech piece of machinery it's supposed to be rather than just a fast tank so I really enjoyed it in the end.
Never seen that comparison and I have no idea where they got it from. The only film I thought of was Batman Returns, just for the Christmas asthetic.
the problem with Knight is you MUST upgrade the batmobile if you don't wan to get fucked in the ass through the whole campaign especially those last missions
and they made the Deathstroke boss battle a complete joke compared to Origins.
scratch that, all boss battles in Knight are complete joke
>Batmobile sidemissions out the ass
>Batmobile bosses
>Batmobile tracks
>Batmobile Riddler trophies
The novelty of it wore off after an hour
the Mr Freeze DLC was the best part
I never found I was underleveled in any of the Arkham games.
>and they made the Deathstroke boss battle a complete joke compared to Origins.
He was a glorified QTE in Origins like a few of the bosses are.
>Why?
Because using the grappel and gliding around the city is more fun, and it's also more useful thanks to the verticality of the game's level design and point of view. The only justification the game has for it are some awkward puzzles and tank battles.
The hate is inversely proportional to a person’s reception of the batmobile sections. Most people that hated origins loved the batmobile.
>He was a glorified QTE in Origins like a few of the bosses are.
with occasional beat-the-crap-out-of-each other instead of another hide and seek tank battle where Batman one punched him when thing started getting interesting
honestly the biggest blue ball from playing this game
Hold the phone, there were 4 Bamham games?
five if you count the side scrolling spinoff
I wouldn’t have a problem with the Batmobile if it was just a few segments instead of being a major aspect for everything.
I mean, technically you were not wrong.
Its my fav, purely because of the setting
