Ur mom

What a cute girl. Is there a picture of her armpits?

Going through the Vile God route, just got Apollonius. I dont care what anyone says I fucking love this game, its one of the best jrpgs I've played in a long time.

Left Mary Skelter at the beginning and Valkyria Chronicles at around chapter 10, I'll finish them, eventually. I'm playing Bloodstained now

Game?
I'm play through Dragon Quest 3 here.

Recommend me one that has lots of cuties

...

Can someone redpill me on Romancing SaGa 2? It sounds great but has mediocre reviews, should I grab it for Switch?

Still trying to Plat it.

Due to reasons I took a break on my third run at Sae's Palace

Working through the final dungeon of Q2 before I start playing CTR tomorrow

FeMC is a best and so are her Links

Does dragons dogma count?
Otherwise I'm playing chrono trigger and ff10 but might drop that one to play ff8 again since i haven't played that one in like 15 years and i generally like the plot and characters better.
I've already played all these games before though, i just don't know what i could play that would be new or actually interesting.

I was trying to beat FF7 again, even tried the NT mod to keep my interest, but something about it just can't click with me. I have the same problem with Chrono Trigger. I love retro games, especially old RPGs, but it all just feels so dated and shallow. The combat in both games are turn offs for me, even though I like the stories.

Anyways, probably gonna keep chipping away at Trials of Mana and give Super Neptunia RPG a shot. Normally the Neptune games are subpar to me, but I loved VP and any game that plays like it to me is worth a shot.

Also considering replaying Mother 1 for the thousandth time in EmuVR, but I think I might go for something different, like Phantasy Star 2. Anyone have any recommendations?

I started Trails in the Sky and it's got quite a lot of dialogue since I talk to every NPC after every quest. I hope that speeding up combat will at least cut off a few hours from this game.

Mary Skelter, Labyrinth of Refrain, SMT Strange Journey, EO4, EOU2, EO5, EON, and Pokemon UM are all pending.
SMT4, FEFates, and FFTA2 too.
I got tons of backlog I can't believe it.

how does tsunako keeps getting away with it

Attached: 1539909766596.png (1303x908, 223K)

Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk. After that, I dunno. Maybe Disgaea 5 Complete, but I think I'll need a break from NIS games for a small while.

Attached: file.png (2000x2304, 653K)

currently nothing
what should I play?

Demon Gaze 2. Got to the post game and oh boy is it a step up.

She deserved better.

Just finished Cold Steel 1 an hour ago. Starting Cold Steel 2 tomorrow.

The buggies and these transformations were so fucking irrelevant.

Just got into Dungeon Travelers 2. I was enjoying it up until I got the Flower Fairy or whatever it's called in the forest dungeon. It just keeps oneshotting my characters now, so I guess I'm supposed to just grind until my characters have enough HP to survive a hit. Not very optimistic about how quick that will be considering it hits for nearly double their HP with its spell that I can't interrupt unless I luck out a Crit on it. I can see a good game in here, but it's taking too long giving me enough tools to work with bullshit dungeon crawlers often like to throw at the player.

>Playing this garabge, uninspired, copy and paste genre just because you're a lonely fuck coping for his garbage life

Japan needs to be nuked

I haven't played much of it myself, so I can't really say too much on it other than the SaGa series is generally more like old RPGs rather than what you'd expect out of a JRPG, especially from the same company who churns out stuff like Final Fantasy. There's a /vr/ thread that you can ask to find out about RS2 if you want a better answer.

Tales of Hearts R

in the theme park area now

>frogposter
cringe

Didn’t know Crono Trigger and TWEWY were the same game.

TWEWY is literally Final Fantasy but filled with nigger jungle music

>I never even played TWEWY: the post

Didn’t know TWEWY used ATB or turn-based. Or a sci-fi fantasy or medieval setting.

How is it? Been sitting in my backlog for a bit

Why do retards who never play games always out themselves like this?

Rune factory 4. Trying to marry the qt knight Forte

I prefer video games

Play an ARPG then.

None right now. I'm in the mood for an action rpg with fast paced combat mechanics similar to Kingdom Hearts with a character creation system and can be played (offline) on PC but I can't think of shit I haven't already played like the God Eater games

wRPGfags are desperate for attention since no one gives a shit about their games, they have to invade jRPG ones

I think you're confusing TWEWY with Xenoblade X

XCX is even further away from a final fantasy game

It's similar to FF12 enough

Divinity Original Sin 2

To Heart 2 Dungeon Travelers

not really, the original is though

Check how you're allocating your skill points. The dungeon travelers games have alot of skills that are traps for new players and are very ineffecient to invest in. Make sure you're using buffs and directing damage towards a tank, it'll help you survive in tougher fights. A healer of some sort is a must as well

Protip: you can reset skills at level 15,30,50,90

currently playing through dragon quest V atm. I'm having fun with more than i did 4 & 8

tiara is best girl

Dragon Quest Heroes on the PS4
Got it for 10 dollarydoos
It's "alright", half dynasty warriors and half JRPG with Dragon Quest art
The main flaws are that it's not "large" maps like other Dynasty Warrior games, your teammates don't run off and fight enemies but stick close for you to swap, which with good timing can mean easy boss kills
8.7/10 A decent game but somehow even more repetitive than the main series

No, because that would make TWEWY good.

im playing this cause someone on Yea Forums said i should. its aight

>He can use a Mystic Arte that's impossible to avoid and wipes almost my entire party
>Can use it as often as he wants

I don't play weaboo games you fuckin retard

>implying TWEWY isn’t good
>implying FF13 and FF15 are good

The numbered FFs through IX were all good. TWEWY is shit.

>FF2
>FF8
>good

Yes.

>2
>8
>good

lol, 1 and 3 are pretty boring by modern standards too, the original 4 is borderline

the only FFs worth playing are 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 14

TWEWY is better than any final fantasy game by the way

Jesus Christ, user.

Persona 5.

Yusuke is a gem. I chuckled when he presented his research on the Egyptian God Medjed.

Think about it. People have beaten the game so you must be overlooking something.

Replace 14 with 11 and then your opinion is correct. Otherwise, you could just cut out 14 and you'd be correct since not everyone can enjoy MMOs.

Trails in the Sky, Lunar silver star story complete and etrian Odyssey 2 ds

11 is essentially dead and not worth playing in 2019, 14 has probably the best combat in FF but the MMO shit does get in the way. Story is also surprisingly good for an FF title with the only good villain in the series (gaius in ARR)

>14 has probably the best combat in FF
Sorry, I had to stop reading there.

DQ3
I wanna finish all of them before playing 11. Only have DQ8 left after this

i mean, what else is there really? It's not a high bar, turn based combat in FF is as bland as it gets, 12 is way too automated, and 15 is a joke. The combat relating to the EX/savage content in 14 is far above anything in the other titles excluding 11

I'm waiting for this game to come out
it's basically Fire Emblem if you removed all the recent waifu shit they slapped on to the series

those Polish fuck heads gave it to someone else instead of uploading it on their company's Youtube account

Attached: i%2B8GgO[1].jpg (1920x1080, 513K)

the game HAS a bunch of cute girls if you look at the trailer
the problem with recent FE titles is you're in a fucking war and you have waifu-shit game mechanics that are totally out-of-place
Also the combat animations are good old-fashioned animated 2D sprites instead of the cheap cost-cutting 3D FE uses now

Xenoblade 2
Valkyria Chronicles 1
Disagea 5

It's pretty crumby and stale.

>TWEWY is better than any final fantasy game by the way
I could tell you were stupid for pretending II and VIII are bad, but holy shit.

Romancing SaGa 2

I'm embarrassed to say it, but I had to look at FAQ 2 or 3 times because I didn't know where am I supposed to go.
Great game, though.

Solid gameplay, slow paced storytelling. 8/10

Black Rose Valkyrie. Not great but I figure by the time I beat this and Yakuza Kiwami 2 that either Atelier Lulua, Nelke or Death End Request will go on sale.

you missed a thread earlier today

>implying 2 and 8 aren’t bad
>implying TWEWY isn’t better than either of those games
No user, you’re the retard here.

Not only do faqs ruin the experience in general, faq authors generally don't know what the fuck they're talking about so they ruin it even more. If you have a question ask Yea Forums (or /vr/) instead.

I got to chapter 3 in this game before quitting due to boredom. Fucking hell it was shit, can't believe I payed $60 for it.

Well, those were my 2 problems:
>how to get to landship with your equipment
>what to do after killing the stone guardian (yes, I found a tower, it was obvious, but didn't see that "secret" door)
Other than that, I had few questions about character development, magic and classes, and Yea Forums helped a lot.

Persona 5
Does Yakuza count?

7th Dragon VFD

I'm not playing anything at the moment. Video games are my only hobby and jrpgs are my favorite video games but I just feel really exhausted and can't bring myself to do anything. If I force myself to start playing something I'll just get bored and put it down shortly after. Instead I just look at the clock and count the seconds as my vacation days waste away.
If anyone has been in a similar situation and a particular game managed to hold your interest, please share.

Playing symphonia till arise releases. Abyss is my all time favorite game and the new one kind of reminds me of it.

wait its out?

Do something else instead. I don't know, put some music and take long walks.
It's just a phase, it will go away.

closed beta, invite only

how is it, I tend to stay away from arpg games on mobile cos on screen buttons ruin the feel

Same, it jsut has some fairly unique things about it and is decently written, makes up for slightly worse combat

idk how it translates to phones, the CBT is on a PC build

Attached: file.png (1920x1080, 2.88M)

>I couldn't grind normally in those games so they're bad
The idiot opinion.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 2, trying to obtain all of the ending CGs, lastation ending being the latest. I would have completed it all within the same month i started playing the game but man it gets boring repeating the same crap.

Attached: Screenshot_430.png (1091x445, 725K)

oh nice, r u playing in ching chong or english

english

Attached: file.png (1920x1080, 3.9M)

Why would you do this?
Do you have autism or something?

>letting yourself get hit or attacking your own allies to level up your stats multiple times is great game design
You sound like a contrarian faggot.

currently playing through SMT IV, I'm liking it so far. Naruku was hell though, definitely a little difficult curve to start the game off, but I'm glad I'm sticking with it so far.

>I only play games after I look up FAQs on how to break the leveling system
Good for you.

It becomes easier after ________ boss. World map is confusing shit, though.

>implying you can’t pick that shit up on your first playthrough
Nice goalposts.

She deserved better.

Attached: 20190331150947_1.jpg (1920x1080, 254K)

where do you think you are?

Attached: NEP.jpg (1024x1365, 201K)

Yeah the world map is something I kinda got to get used to. At least getting lost as fuck kinda let's me explore and grind until I find the right thing to do, so there's that.

Is it good?
Is it as laggy as honkers?

>check it out
>it literally is just BOTW, from the graphics, gameplay systems and even the music
So this is the power of the chinese

Attached: 1a61f7ad1a37f2ca5a973e5026635ac1.jpg (1102x1000, 242K)

literally me

>its one of the best jrpgs I've played in a long time.
Eh, I don't about that. The story wasn't anything special per se, but the execution did make the whole thing entertaining. In other words, cliche but solid. Tsunako's artwork definitely had an impact though. Every girl is pure sex, especially Eryn.

>Nice goalposts
We've been talking about the non-traditional grinding the whole time. Literally nothing has changed. Why are retards who complain about goalposts or logical fallacies so fucking stupid? I didn't drop a point and change my argument, you brainlet. Learn what goalposts are.

the "grinding" in TWEWY is far more unique than FF8, 2's grinding is just garbage design

Can i massacre protesters ?

for

can you kill moblins by dousing them with gutter oil and burning them?

Turn a fucking slider down and then fight inflated value enemies for rare drops? The point is that you shouldn't be grinding at all, and that people who lean on grinding hated II and VIII for not letting them grind normally.

maybe the act of leveling up shouldn't involve some stupid shit that wastes your time further, especially in a turn based game

Nier Automata. Halfway through route B and it doesn't really feel like a Taro game except for some quests and last 5 hours of route A so I'm a bit disappointed so far.

a lot of people think the second half is better. I personally preferred the intrigue of the first half It was obvious humans were all dead but I wanted to see what they'd do with it. Unfortunately I didn't think it lives up to the build up, a lot of the second half is just stuff happening while the pod spews random technical jargon

It doesn't, though. That's the whole fucking point. If you can't master game mechanics and need to grind to play, you suck at jrpgs.

I don't even know what you're arguing at this point. Grinding makes FF8 harder due to level scaling, and you're referring to grinding as a crutch

People hate VIII because they're idiots who tried to grind, and got their shit pushed in. It's very simple, an has not been hard to follow this conversation.

Started Sky 3rd the other day. I'm actually quite enjoying how it feels more like a dungeon crawler.
Shame that I have a distaste for micromanaging more than 8 party members at once.

Attached: 1486373320915.jpg (1978x1280, 1.83M)

playing trials of mana

just got through the volcano

Why the fuck would you play any JRPGs for interesting mechanics or "strategy"? What kind of big retard nigger would sit down and pop in any Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest and think
>wow I can't wait to really use my tiny piss brain for once!
Walking through dungeons while reserving magic and items, staying underleveled doesn't make the game hard or fun. In fact, JRPGs are possibly the least fun games and normalfaggot retard nigger cunts like you need to fuck off to Fire Emblem or something and leave big damage grinding exploits for men, real men, like me.

you really showed us bringing up the two biggest baby mode jRPG series. wRPG tards could not handle SaGa

nothing screams " I don't know shit about jRPGs" more than when someone brings up FF or DQ. That's like bringing up Fallout 4 for wRPGs, for the record

(not the guy you quoted)

I would really love to play RS2 again once I finish my current run just to do things differently, but:
>starting with already learned spells and skills make the game too easy
>don't want to lose all the progress and start fresh
God fucking dammit

are Yea Forums and /vr/ merging?

Yes, because my Japanese still isn't great and I prefer to play games in English until I'm fluent you purist faglord.

Hoper they add a romance option for him. I want to get all up in his shit, literally.

I'm surprised by how quickly Kei Nanameda became one of my favorite artists over the span of a few years. He improved a lot from his first project while keeping his artstyle

I just love how responsive the UI is. Everything is instant and snappy, no slow motion overly-animated menus that just gets in the way.

Agreed, really hope for a sequel.

I don't get why CH doesnt want to do sequels for their non-nep games, I get the idea of not boxing yourself in one setting and set of characters when you already have one flagship franchise but both ADF and DERQ left a hook for a sequel.

It's been almost 4 years but I still have hope, we did get ADF after all, and a sequel bait.
I like how CH makes a lot of new games instead of only doing sequels like pretty much everyone else, but a sequel to their successful games every once in a while would be great.

the only thing I'd want from a FFF sequel would be to go full balls to the wall modern kamen rider and give everyone 3 different forms while Fang has 5+Final Form

Forgot to mention, don't forget that the last Nep mainline came out in 2015 even before ADF, so it's not like they are doing Nep sequels either.

they still do them with 3rd party devs, even if spinoffs are....mixed quality, speaking of that, where the FUCK is Ninja Nep
