I don't think of games when those words come to mind
Ristar
Gunstar Heroes
McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure
SNES had better looking and sounding games on average but Treasure and late SEGA releases really pushed the Genesis far
Winnie the Pooh.
Probably Hollow Knight or Xenoblade Chronicles.
fpbp
even if I prefer the first one
Okami, of course.
Jet Set Radio. The artstyle holds up insanely well on modern resolutions, only the textures need a touch up in order for it to be a perfect remaster. Soundtrack is 10/10 as well. Also I like the graffiti minigame, kiss my ass futurefags
Bloodborne and Sekiro.
you already did

I can't even begin to describe the feelings this level gives me. The crashing drums, the blasting steel drums, the huge plumes of fire as a single dude with a flamethrower and some broken ray-banns fuckin slaughters an entire military base in the hawaiian heat. Something about this level, setting and especially this song, is just absolutely one of the peaks of Hotline Miami 2. I can't get enough of this song, and every time I think about it it makes me sad we'll never see the series explored in any more games or even a fucking netflix movie. But its okay, because it ran its course.
Still. Stronghold is fantastic and HM is my favourite vidya series.
its a shame the level design is fuckin ass
You already posted mine. My second choice is Super Smash Bros Melee.
Yes, Sonic CD has two great soundtracks when most games are lucky to get a couple decent tracks... HOWEVER, the jumping sound effect is completely wrong and I'll never not notice it.
A game whose qualities rely heavily on good visual art direction and music BOTH
Should have at least decent gameplay.

I'd be crying too, what an ordinary slow-mo time
this man is from poland
There are many for me, but the first that comes to mind is Journey. The entire experience was so moving, and the ascension segment at the end brought tears to my eyes.
