Why did they want classic Igavania to fail? What did he do to Yea Forums?
It's not bing bing so Yea Forums doesn't like it.
>Listens to complaints
>Fixes them
>Takes time to polish development and release the game he wanted to
YL, Shantae and MN9 really should take notes.
zoomer morons
I just dislike Igavanias in general
Classic or bust
this, meanwhile switch fags get excited by getting DMC for 20$ lmfao
he killed castlevania, I don't expect 90s born people to understand tho
ok, so i beat Solid Snake in the chinese level
where do i take the sword?
That's why he made curse of the moon ?
The core problem behind pretty much all the complains is that the art style is hideous and it looks like garbage, visually. That's just a fact you can't get around, and it's very apparent from just screenshots and videos of the game (which anybody who hasn't played the game will be seeing).
Even if it's a good game, all the people on Yea Forums that haven't played it will only know about it that it's fucking ugly
wtf, when SOTN came out, it was hailed as one of the greatest game ever made
it was incredibly "deep" for its time and the sheer amount of shit you could do was not like any SNES or Genesis title.
The only true sad part is we never got a legit PS1 sequel like everyone wanted
But the Gameboy Advance games were cool tho, and you get far more content than a traditional castlevania
it doesn't look that bad
but the swimming segments are fuckin laughable
and the "tone" they tried to commit to in the Japanese area falls so flat. The blood splatter doesn't even work half the time.
>SOTN is castlevania
like I said 90s born queers can't understand
>Be a fag with a whip
vs
>Be literally Dracula
hmmm
Shantae games aren't bad though
tortanic wannabes
Look at this graphics dude. I'm 19 and never played Castlevania before, but I can tell this game is shit just by the visuals alone. Play Hollow Knight instead.
>not liking both styles
Plebeians, the lot of you.
Yea Forums wants everything to fail because the autists here enjoy shitposting more than they enjoy playing good games. They all want to be able to experience their own TORtanic.
it was also a new direction for CV
we didn't think that it would be the ONLY FUCKING ROUTE FOR THE NEXT 20 YEARS.
there hasn't been a NEW classic CV since fucking Bloodlines, or if you wanna be super technical, CV Rebirth, but all that is is a remake of CV gameboy
game is way too easy, bosses die in the duration of a squirrel fart
but it is bad
dilated trannies defend this because they paid $1000 plus tip just so their dog could be an enemy
>game looks good
>omfg this looks like shit
>be blinded by aggressive autism
?????????
It's fun
yeah, it's weird how entrenched people are in one camp
I like the level design and pacing of Classicvanias, while also digging the exploration and item collection of Metroidvanias.
it's fun as fucking fuck desu
>bad graphics vs bland graphics
Is one supposed to be preferable to the other?
so is this like lemmings?
if the game had a better presentation, better soundtrack, and be more difficult, it'd be kino. as it stands, it's a 5 million dollar embarassment.
Aria of Sorrow>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
>at Towers of Twin Dragons
>not sure how to proceed
>still don't have double jump
>found Livre ex Machina but can't do anything there
>don't know where the thing to make that lift go up/down is
I've ran around outside as much as I can and I know I'm missing a couple chests I can't access yet. Ran around all inside and can't find a way to progress without needing double jump or some other shit FUCK
Apparently, Zangetsu is still alive despite his sacrifice. If you're playing on the PC ultrawide fix, you can see him hidden in the corner during the ending.
if you want to play on a harder difficulty you need to start all over again?
Where do you even upgrades weapons?
double jump is in miniboss fight in twin dragons tower
near a save room, keep looking faggot
Kickstarter one was pretty meh.
Looks like cheap mobile phone shit.
you're going to hate it and you'll like it
You got curse of the moon
But that's literally wrong you shitstain. The Double Jump is obtained from the boss in Livre Ex Machina after which you backtrack through the shortcut to the towers.
It's a solid game, but not $40/5mil budget good
It looks really bad, hideous even. Artstyle is all over the place, everything looks like cheap plastic. The gameplay might be good but actually enjoying what you are looking at is a pretty big part of any videogame. I'm not saying it should have GRAPHICS, it could even look like runescape as far as I care, but at least it should be pleasant and consistent.
The portrait shard power is beyond fucking broken jesus christ.
It's kinda fun cheese but I'm just baffled how the hell did this bullshit get past the testing.
>just got the shortcut
I reckon I'm fighting the boss here shortly. Lend me your energy, Yea Forums.
The game is fun, it just looks like ass.
Expect a nerfing in the future. You know this is going to be one of those too-good-to-keep moments.
Rhava Bular being obtainable so early is worse when it comes to balancing. But I gimped myself to whips only for the first playthrough so whatever.
what's the big thing behind the sofa in save rooms supposed to be?
yikes
Is it like the hand of God hovering above?
Redpill me on the portraits. I just never use it because I don't want to see the soiboi collection around my Miriam.
Looks like some giganigga demon thing
So where's the last recipe book on the list located? It's the only one I have left and I can only assume it's what I need to finish the old lady's quests.
Big moth demon?
Fuck me I'm at 99.9% map completion. Fuck you IGA and your stupid map.
They act as a shield and do a fuck load of damage.
IGA's biggest map yet!
Is this as fun as Aria of Sorrow?
You're welcome.
It only seems bigger because of the stretched-out map tiles.
Cope.
ye
Where's the demon that sucks up the blood in the fountain of the first stage? She's somewhere in the clocktower, right?
oh ok I thought it was a reference to another game or something
Biggest Castlevania my ass.
Am I blind and/or retarded? What am I not seeing?
They white knight Miriam and protect her virginity from any incubus that approaches.
did you go back and get that last part of the ship
The KS was very underwhelming and felt bare bones
You're missing a room in the Oriental Research Laboratory
here you go pal
I mean, it couldn't be that because it's not a Castlevania game. :^)
ugly video
boring copy paste game
It really is not that bad looking. Ive seen a lot worse. Its not even Pokemon SS tier.
Where's the weapon coming after the Bloodbringer in the archives and the final helmet/armour?
god, this game is a blessing
got a hard on just with the music
dub miriam has such a weird affected accent while jap miriam sounds like a cheery anime girl
This is the board that insists that Dark Souls and Ocarina of Time are some of the best video games of all time, user.
Thanks, lads.
it's pretty braindead desu, but it's better than I thought it would be
>not thinking SOTN was a huge masterpiece that created a better pacing theme for castlevania
peasant
I can't beat Sangetzu. I can barely get to his second stage.
How much of a casual am I?
Post Favorite tracks
youtube.com
are there two spaces after the colon for RoTN?
this
Probably my favorite track. Really nails that PS1 vibe.
remember to save often in case the game decides to bug out
brainlet here, im stuck after getting the master hand and crossing the gap with mr. chariot
i dont get it where do i go
Not a lot of memorable tracks but I'm glad they still know how to do crystal cave vibes well.
Rank bosses
OD > 8-bit overlord > not death > money dude > blood count > doppelganger > alfred > skele godzilla > zangetsu 2 > final boss p1 > reflector dude > zangetsu 1 > revenant > millionaire > ship boss > double jump boss >>> gebel >>> carpenter > final boss phase 2
how in the fuck are you supposed to get this
It's pretty fun but the autism in me makes me grind all the drops and spirits. Also my biggest complain is the combat/movement is very floaty and slow. Lacks the tightness Cvanias had.
Any mods yet?
the guy with the casino chips made my PS4 Pro run at 15 FPS every time he took out the stack of chips
Can I be a slut in this game?
What do you mean by floaty and slow? Because this looks pretty snappy
Go boot OoE or SotN. It plays exactly like this. Slow as fuck only you are doing cancels and floaty.
Is Zangetsu in it?
Get the chainsaw sword soul. Dodge his jumps and bzzzzz him to death.
WHY IS MIRIAM SO FUCKING CUTE BREHS
The it's about as tight as the other Metroidvanias.
Super Castlevania IV is a league of its own tho.
Play on the harder difficulties in the future.
yes
Classic mode for this game is a stretch goal, you mong.
QUESTION FOR ALL PC NIGGERS
WHICH GRAPHICS SETTING IS BETTER
CINEMATIC OR EPIC?
It's also the loading if you noticed.
Six wings, head ornament, wears a cape... You do the math.
So it's not just a problem for normal PS4s, either. Glad to hear that.
Apparently, the framerate for that fight was fine before the 1.02 patch. Hopefully, it gets fixed again.
yeah you're going to have to do some climbing and you'll eventually find her chilling in the only bathtub in the entire castle.
>that complete fucking loser you know that claims to like metroidvanias but hasn't played through La-Mulana
That's a big YIKES from me.
>C4 in a league of its own
League of trash? Its a muddled halfway point between classic and modern. Having full jump control felt out of place.
m-mommy
Cinematic and use the in-game 4k setting. If your machine is even halfway decent, you shouldn't see a performance hit.
tell me what other castlevania has a map that big?
the nostalgia goggles are strong user
just look at the sotn map
Anyone know where to get mikazuki or hofud
>in-game 4k setting.
what. I don't have a 4k monitor
>>It's kinda fun cheese but I'm just baffled how the hell did this bullshit get past the testing.
>wanting "balance" in a SINGLE PLAYER GAME
Seriously fuck this meme. "Balance" doesn't even make any fucking sense outside of MP. Yeah, some abilities might be OP cheese, some might be more of a challenge, but what everyone finds fun is up to them. If it's a good game it'll reward multiple play throughs and people will naturally git gud and then try out new weapons and abilities that have higher skill floors/ceilings. And if it's a bad game none of it matters anyway.
I mean, there are multiple flat difficulties too. Different weapon levels are like sub difficulties. And if you're not playing on hardest you're in no position to judge how well anything works anyway.
>Lacks the tightness Cvanias had.
I played a bit of SOTN, Aria, Portrait and Order to compare the speed and it's pretty much the same in every game, the only possible difference is that it might look faster in 2d than 3d.
I've played just about every other metroidvania out there, but I couldn't get through La-Mulana, my brain is simply too small and I refuse to use a guide, how could they expect so much brain power from a metroidvania player? These are usually the simplest games around.
You don't need one. What you'll be doing is known as downsampling. Better than any AA out there and improves texture sharpness and clarity.
post the mega file
>Apparently, the framerate for that fight was fine before the 1.02 patch. Hopefully, it gets fixed again.
It was, I honestly don't know though what could have been in that which broke it. Did they just plain forget some compiler optimization flag or leave in some debug code accidentally or something?
how did you downsample
I got stuck in la-mulana because I'm a brainlet. Also it was very time consuming writing notes down and mapping every area manually in paint. I'll get back into it after I finish up with bloodstained. Pic related was my wip map for shrine in the sky.
>casting bolide blast on iga while he's swinging his sword makes the entire sword and its hitbox disappear mid-animation
incredible game
Broken stuff is what makes these games fun, especially when you get to the post game nonsense that just makes grinding out and 100% less tedious and more entertaining
>Better than any AA out there
wat. the original first AA was literally that, render high, then shrink. it mostly vanished as AA developed further because by definition it's the most fucking expensive possible method, you're literally rendering like 4x. great results if you got the power but in a lot of games not at all worth it because not visible vs worse but faster AA outside of static screenshots.
>It's pretty fun but the autism in me makes me grind all the drops and spirits
I knew this shit was going to relapse my autism when I saw that enemies can drop costume equipment.
Just beat the game. It's really good aside from some of the jank in the technical and visual department. It's also hitting me right in the autism that I can't get 100% map completion without being locked into doing the final boss unless I'm missing something
Now I'm just wondering if I should go through hard or resub to FFXIV
UHHHHN... AKSEPTABEL!
You can change Miriam into a long blonde haired tanned gyaru.
Just go into the options tab and set the resolution to 3840x2160. Done.
>especially when you get to the post game nonsense that just makes grinding out and 100% less tedious and more entertaining
Yeah that's another good point. Having a few broken crazy fun OP things in a game acts as a bit of safety net for dumb developer decisions, if something ends up being a bit more tedious then it should have on later runs at least there is a way to burn through it without having to go back and beg the dev for an update.
Am I the only tryhard playing on nightmare?
Play La-Mulana 2. La-Mulana 1 is one of my favorite games, but I will absolutely admit that some parts of it are so bullshit that it could probably be considered bad design. I refuse to look things up in games but I just had to for La-Mulana 1 and it confirmed my suspicions that I literally never would have thought of some of the things on my own. La-Mulana 2 is still very hard but WAY more fair. In terms of difficulty, it is better designed in my opinion.
I can't for some reason. It only goes up to 1080p
at what level is a shard considered maxed in grade / rank?
9/9
You can literally get that during the introduction sequence. Equip the foot type weapon you got at the beginning of the game, then do a hadoken.
9
>not starting on hard
Grade 9, Rank 9, Level 99 for Familiars
Metroidvanias, or at the very least the actual Castlevania ones, don't really have many puzzles. Outside of the map system I wouldn't even put La-Mulana and this along with the Castlevania games on the same category in that regard.
8-bit castle is kicking my ass. is this supposed to be a late game thing?
What are the chances the Switch port will be shit? I was going to pick it up on there since I try to play all my indies on Switch
Shadowbringers is out next week, better come back.
Being halfway through Hard, I wish I had started on Nightmare. I'll play it again though.
I'm going to refer you to as well. I like the majority of La-Mulana 1 but some parts of it are just badly designed bullshit for the sake of being bullshit. La-Mulana 2 is much more fair. Still really hard but I was able to eventually beat it without looking anything up.
It's locked to 720p 30fps.
8-bit castle is probably the most difficult segment, despite its simplicity
And is probably a joke
Don't know why I made this but here's a map comparison with SOTN
downsampling is far, far superior to AA and produces a better image across the board. It's just very taxing on the machine. If it's a game with simple graphics (like this one) and setting the graphics to 4k doesn't cause your FPS to dip, there's zero reason to not use it.
My biggest problem right now is that the game is hilariously easy. It's just the final boss left now so I sure hope it's a decent fight unlike the other bosses. Would have started on hard but the game would not let me for whatever reason.
This is why I always play games on the hardest difficult even if the early game is aids.
Are Gebel's glasses the only reward you get for getting 100% shard completion?
Are you set to full screen?
they just wanted to cross Miriam out of this picture really badly, but she broke free of the KS curse.
Yes.
I only found it after beating the game and working to fill the map. The boss there is IntiCreates-styled screen-filling attack hell.
That's probably fine for this type of game isn't it? I'd rather not get it on PC.
Dunno, but I'd wait for reviews. In principle it should be fine, the Switch is weaker then any of the other platforms but it'll be running at lower res too. On the other hand it's an indy that seems to still have a bit of jank in their build chains, console launch was fine then 1.02 patch added some new framerate issues.
Presumably though that'll get fixed. So basically I'd assume Switch will be fine eventually, and hopefully Day 1, but that they've had a bit of silly footgun once on consoles means maybe it'll be a bit of up and down until they get it all sorted.
Can't wait for Silksong to blow this garbage out of the water desu.
Not completely, but she fared a lot better than other KS-funded games.
Hard and Nightmare usually unlock through beating the game, which is stupid but somehow a standard with many games.
But if you enter NIGHTMARE as your name they unlock instantly, that's how others have started on higher difficulties..
It's borderless windowed.
You fucked up, dude. You need to enter NIGHTMARE as your name and start on hard at the least.
Mod for SotN music yet?
set to full screen then try again.

it was a bad decision to have 3d models instead of 2d sprites
If I don't make any progress I'll give 2 a shot. Thanks for the advice.
Console warring idiots are brain dead what do you expect?
But where's Bloodstained's upside down castle?
user, what you are describing is literally the first AA there ever was, where flat out multiple pixels are rendered for every final pixel. If you're not familiar with it you're probably just young. It was abandoned in the old days mostly because it's very computationally expensive, you're rendering 4x as much (or more). It's the simplest method and it makes good results, it's just raw brute force. It's not some new thing however, though it's amusing that it's so vanished from modern vidya that seeing it again makes people think it's some new deal.
Why does it release on switch on the 25th anyways? Isn't that cause for concern
>almost at the end with 99 and so percent of the map
>feel the need to go out and get and level up every shard and technique
DAMN YOU ARIA/DAWN/PORTRAIT
INVERTO
>Hard and Nightmare usually unlock through beating the game, which is stupid but somehow a standard with many games.
Yeah, it's really stupid, yet also standard. Unlockable difficulties only make sense if they're REALLY punishing, only-for-experts/autists stuff. Like, one hit and you die or something. But in most games Easy/Normal/Hard/Expert or whatever they name them are the standard 4 but the actual diff is more like Down's Syndrome/Boring/OK/Fun, and Fun should be there from the start.
It's an honest shame when the top difficulty is where a game actually shines, but most players never see it because the bad ones won't go anyway and the good ones give up in disgust after a single run.
Why are there so many Silver Knight Familiar orbs everywhere? You can't even sell them for some reason either.
I wish everyone didn't drop msaa. I also wish bloodstained's AA settings told me what they were instead of
>Low-High
>epic
>cinematic
It's way better than fucking Aria/Dawn of Sorrow with that shit, I swear the souls in those games had like a 1% drop rate. Shit triggered me to hell and back to the point where I only ever replayed either of those games for based Julius mode.
Bloodstained really is a mash-up of the better concepts from Iga's games but I would honestly have rather had it be more like SotN but without the non-existent difficulty which is still a problem at points in Bloodstained. I fucking love that all the old tech still works like swinging your weapon just before you land and the dive kicks.
The difference is that it's not antialiasing, user. It's not the multisampling or the supersampling whch you're describing. The game is just running at 4k. Full stop. If you do this on a 1080p monitor you're still getting everything renered at 4x the size but it won't extend past the screen's borders. This results in not just edge smoothing, but higher resolution textures as well.
Prolly to optimize it as much as possible or an experiment on the publisher's part to see how fast switch sales will be IDK
Balance should absolutely exist in single player games, because if more options are viable it's more fun.
Also wondering about this, honestly seems like a bug its so strange.
>Why does it release on switch on the 25th anyways? Isn't that cause for concern
Fuck if I know. Sometimes a console maker will give a smaller studio an extra advertising or placement boost if they slot in during a downtime in releases, there may be some coordination with outlets and all that. I guess they just figured they'd be ready by then?
I mean, like I said I hope and expect they can do it. Shouldn't be that big a deal. But I dunno how the PS4 version got slightly broken after a solid launch either, so eh. Hell, maybe that happened precisely because they were very focused on switch polishing but that's just speculating.
Um, if you render at 4k, and then display it on a 1080p, where the image is being shrunk down to fit the screen, that's antialiasing user. Like that's what it is. The downsizing algorithm (bicubic or whatever they use) is shrinking things resulting in AA. I don't know what you find difficult to understand about this.
so i'm just starting out and i have a bit of a dilemna about which dub to stick with. on the one hand, almost everything sounds better in the english dub... except for Miriam herself, who sounds infinitely better in the jap and whom i will be forced to listen to for the rest of the game. so i stuck with the Jap dub up unti l got the sword familliar, and to my dismay it's amazing autistic screeshes are toned down in the jap dub and now i don't know which to stick with. either a cool grunting sword with a lame sounding miriam, or a hot sounding miriam with a lame grunting sword.
>almost everything sounds better in the english dub
It’s to artificially extend playtime.
>because if more options are viable it's more fun.
That has nothing to do with "balance" though. There can be 90 options that are completely viable, as in a good player can absolutely beat the entire game at any difficulty with all of them, and still be 10 that are OP. The 10 being OP doesn't somehow make the other 90 worse. That some are "stronger" then others is very different from "fun" or even "better", if the game rewards getting better you'll naturally start to gravitate away from the cheese because it'll be boring after the first time.
Like, this is no different from having a godmode or noclip or whatever. Probably most of us in the past beat games, then dicked around a bit flying across the maps and 1shotting a few baddies or whatever. And then never did it again because holy shit does that get real old real fast. But that doesn't mean that it's somehow bad to have a console or mods or whatever available and leave it up to players to do what they want single player.
Stacking shards makes them more powerful, in addition to the rank up you get from throwing alchemy materials at them. For offensive shards, its about a 10% increase per grade.
Since Silver Knight doesn't drop from anything, its instead scattered around the world.
God I wish that were me.
So there should be no difference between AA and downsampling, going by your logic. Yet here we are with not only a huge difference in visual output but also an astronomical difference in the resource usage.
Probably just magic.
It's the final boss from Curse of the Moon.
Anyone have the vid to the no dmg boss fight
Ami Koshimizu voices Miriam, that should be reason enough for anyone to go with jap.
Where the fuck do I go after getting the gravity flip
Nintendo is notoriously anal about approving games. It probably took them a bit longer to get it polished enough to get the green light.
>playing on hard mode
>max bloodbringer grade before the hand boss in the cathedral
>rank 4 grade 9
>it hits the boss
>crits for 210
what the fuck
How do I get past the iron maiden here?
Go back to the twin dragon tower first, you'll hopefully know where to go from there.
>So there should be no difference between AA and downsampling
WHAT "AA" user. You keep acting like there is only one kind of "AA" out there rather then lots of them, all of which produce different results. Rendering at 4x resolution and then downsampling is just one kind, and it's a good one when it's possible. It's literally AA though if there is that downsample step, you're still processing an oversampled image into a 1080p one, discarding information in the process, in order to produce a better looking image.
If you're just rendering direct to a 4k screen without any other sort of processing step and simply counting on raw DPI then that would not be AA.
pick it up with your giant hand lol
They're called opinions. You'll learn about them when school gets back in session.
Especially since there's supposed to be eight Shortcut shards, but you only find five. Are we sure that those orbs holding the familiar weren't supposed to have the remaining three Shortcuts?
Only miriam is objectively better in the jap dub.
Zangetsu sounds better in the eng dub.
Sword sounds better in the eng Dub.
OD sounds better in the eng dub.
the only one that's up for debate is Dominique.
didnt work
maybe i can use a 3rd party program or something
I couldnt beat him without magic.
dunno user seems to be a common opinion, moon miriam is amazing but the others not so much, and english the opposite. luck of the VA draw maybe
Do any of the familiars change appearance when maxed out or am i wasting my time?
You can use that giant hand shard, or if there are enemies around you can trick one into it and it will close and remain closed
Nintendo is probably saying they'll only put it on featured if they got promised benchmarks like stable 30fps 720p handheld.
Which when you look at shit like hollow knight shouldn't have been hard
Pretty sure the Bloodbringer does, not sure about the others
I've already explored the entire thing except for 1 chest I have absolutely no idea how to get
Unless there's some secret I'm missing
You need Aegis Armor and the Giant hand shard.
Correct, you made your opinion clear and then I implied my own opinion.
Who?
The "Hits you for 140 curse damage every half second you look at it" mechanic of it makes it such an ass of an enemy
Console warriors are too young to have grown up with any of these games
Code Geass is shit. Don't sully this thread with it.
let me explain it this way. There's no algorithm here.
With the old sampling you're talking about, it renders up and then renders back down. If you were running 1080p and to take a screenshot of a game using that method, the screenshot would be 1920x1080.
With downsampling the game is just running at 4k. Even though you are using a 1080p monitor, if you take a screenshot, that screenshot will be 3840x2160
I have no intention of playing it with english voices, but the jap voices are indeed weak outside of Miriam, OD and maybe Dominique.
i love how much Op shit you can get
bunny miriam is beyond broken and i hope they dont nerf it
ok it works. is it just me or is the text blurrier in windows now
Bold of you to assume, I was the guy who made that initial statement.
got much sharper for me. Not sure.
Nerf? in a metroidvania game?
Also, there are a bunch of broken op stuff
>They white knight Miriam and protect her virginity from any incubus that approaches.
Is Miriam a confirmed virgin? That's hot
Hand lets you move the glowing white statues and the iron maidens.
>There's no algorithm here
There is.
>With downsampling the game is just running at 4k. Even though you are using a 1080p monitor, if you take a screenshot, that screenshot will be 3840x2160
Sure, the screenshot function shows the internal resolution. Any decent movie player will do the same, you can play a 4k movie on 1080p or for that matter 1200p or 1600p screen just fine. You can tell it when you screenshot to use the actual video res. You can even tell it to play at actual resolution, and then only end up seeing a piece of the video.
But the instant you tell it to "fit to screen" you're invoking an algorithm. Holy shit user. That is how 4k virtual pixels can be transformed in 1080p physical native pixels. And the result is an AA image. You can do the same thing in Photoshop with a static image, if you work at a higher res and shrink it down jagged edges will smooth.
>4k image shrunk to 1080 screen
>no algorithm
not sure you understand computers too good man
is there some decent Shard combination to deal with the Twin Dragons?
i use the headflail shard to literally bash around 500hp per full magic gauge (47hp/hit), and the Bhular deals 17/buttonmash. but still it doesnt seem enough, not to mention that fucking firewall attack.
How many of you made Miriam look like Shanoa?
So what are the best or most interesting backer weapons?
what shard are you farming right now user?
that's absolutely not to scale
This looks like a mobile game
I fucking hate how every other room has kickstarter backer portrait ghost enemies. I'm sick of seeing the same fucking soibois. Also the giant cat and dog enemies are so fucking obvious some retards backer reward.
is it worth getting it right now? genuinely curious. I like Hollow Knight quite a bit.
Close enough.
I agree. It's exactly the same thing. We'll leave it at that and I'm going to bed.
No, you'll hate this. All Hollow Knight lovers hate igavania.
Any tips for leveling techniques? Takes way longer than I expected to.
EXP ring and book. Go kill the Abyssal Dragon in the late-game area with magic attacks.
Someone please respond
rent the Mastery Tome from the library to speed things up.
is farming desert chests the only reliable way to farm gold?
invert gravity at the left side of the right tower and you'll find a chest with a chestplate that negates all hazard damage. if you've been exploring you'll know about an area that seems impossible to traverse
is there a reverse castle in this game?
Pretty much, No enemy drops it natural as far as i know and you need a shit ton of it for stuff
If you have the money, you can buy it for 15k a piece at the store after you make it once
Yes and no (but mostly no)
What's the deal with the 8bit coin weapons? Are those the good weapons?
Not without spending a shit-ton of gold to buy 16- and 32-bit coins to upgrade them with.
>hit the fairy with a dullahan head
>it doesnt die
>instead it fucking rockets off of the screen from the impact
its the small things
You can dismantle Ayamur which drops from those water horses for 1x gold per dismantle, but you'll need some Alkahests from Amy for dismantling as well. The horses drop the sword pretty frequently. Not my video, but youtube.com
I only used the headflail and my sword for that boss fight. For the fire attack, make sure you hold jump so you get as much air time as possible to maneuver
I managed to get a Switch version. GRFX are decidedly subpar with a vaseline filter doing a mediocre job of hiding the lack of fidelity. Framerate is decent. The load times times suck and dying repeatedly to bosses will emphasis how long it takes (+10 seconds on a lot of levels).
The movement is slow and floaty, especially the jumping. It doesn't feel good or right. And the animations look off, too. They remind me of the animations from like...Adventure Quest or something.
I wouldn't call Bloodstained bad, but I'm not about to praise it and call it good, either. There are a multitude of far better Metroidvania style games on Steam. Hollow Knight, Ori, Valdis Story, Dead Cells, etc. Hell, even some porn games like Eroico do the same sort of gameplay better than Bloodstained.
cheese him. immediately run to the left, jump onto the platform and grind him into mincemeat from above. he can't get on top of the platforms, so you can easily chainsaw him to death over and over until he drops both shard and item.
do your familiars not change appearance with grade / rank like other attacks do?
just finished farming the bunny costume
shit slaps
they change appearance at level 25
Crafting and then buying it is probably the easiest way. The first craft takes about 17k after you make the first Dark Matter, and then its cheaper to buy it than buy the materials for crafting it.
If you don't have the Enhance Gold Shard (which itself takes Gold to craft and upgrade), you can farm Mahogany and Cypress by the boss room in the volcano area. There's a Deathtrap there that drops them at 8% and 4% respectively, and they sell for about ~1k and ~3k a piece. Deathtraps also give the Enhance LUK shard, so its not all a waste relative to other farming methods.
You forgot the PSP Rondo remake. Also a remake though
Literally living in your head rent free
Downsampling is literally SSAA. Downsampling 4K to 1080p is identical to 4xSSAA
>implying it isn't coming to Switch on the 25th
Are you guys just braindead or pretending again?
Are some of the chests glitched? Missing the fish recipe book even though I opened the chest that contains it.
I was ready to give up on the game until I sat on the piano with the fairy.
That's when I realized this game was a genuine attempt at a passion project that didn't quite get there.
>passion project
>it's literally SOTN but with waifu and less content
huh I'm not so sure, it's not like a super original game or anything
Shovel Knight's armor actually. Goddamn I've gotten his shard way more than that piece of shit drop.
Did you started the game BEFORE the 1.02 patch?
>Not enjoying whipping in 8 different directions
To this day there still isn't a Castlevania game that gives you the sheer amount of control you had in Super 4. I mean yeah, you could do lots of cool shit in SOTN, like transforming into a wolf and using your father's attacks, but Alucard's base moveset was inferior. Why they didn't transfer something like that over is beyond me.
That cant be true, i love both
post more slutty miriam
Me too.
You're a faggot. Fuck you.
thanks to the user who recommended tis rozain
it's great since the aiming graphic keeps disappearing after awhile
you guys sad zangetsu was casual filter. im a casual and i beat him on the first try.
that one fucking ghostly thing with the scythe on the area after him killed me though.
I fucking love games where you can have familiars
why are the guns so shit? what am I missing?
They should have allowed a shard to replace magic with right stick gun aiming.
Flame bullets are quite good, but magic completely overshadows any weapon in this game.
How the fuck do you kill that faggot train enemy? Talking about enemy 44 here. That shit seems almost impossible to kill, holy shit.
What do you do when zangetsu uses his black hole move in the second encounter?
So how useful has everyone been finding the techniques? Must admit have not messed with them much except for a few.
I used the katana parry a couple times but now I just blow everything up with magic and haven't upgraded my weapon in forever
God, Zangetsu is kicking my ass on nightmare. Healing items don't even factor in since I die in a touch anyway.
katana parry is the only actually useful one i have so far. everything else i only use for style
I like the whip tornado whenever I use whips.
what does faster casting from the augment int shard even do? It feels like magic is already cast basically instantly
wait, you can upgrade weapons? how?
That is a lot of autism crammed into one video.
Iga destroys all zoomers yet again and proves he's absolutely based.
ah I meant that I haven't replaced my weapon with anything better
>Grind the fuck out of souls
>Just going to use flame cannon, grinder, and silver knight any ways
why am i even bothering. nothing is possibly better than these right
>series hits all-time high levels of quality with sotn
>blame sotn for setting the bar too high so S&M whip wielding gays can't compete anymore
wew
It is bad.
much like every other castlevania game i pretend they dont exist while doing the more fun option like magic.
The art looks bad and I've already played Sotn. What's the point?
Now try using it against Master Carpenter.
It's fun
they're both good, and if you miss classic so much he made Circle of the Moon for you to enjoy so you have literally nothing to complain about
Nintendofags didn't grow up with any of these. Had that been the case they wouldn't be Nintendofags.
And of course the next attempt after posting this I manage to do it. Can't get 1 shot if you never get hit to begin with.
why couldn't Castlevania transition well into 3d like Metroid did?
Why play any game then? Just replay 90s classics for all eternity if that's satisfying for you.
>HURR I'VE ALREADY PLAYED SUPER MARIO BROTHERS 3, WHY SHOULD I PLAY ANY OTHER PLATFORMER?!!
Literally fuck off.
What weapon did you use?
It did. It's called Dark Souls 1
i'm just not impressed by the graphics and i feel like something is wrong with me because everyone else is fellating this game ridiculously hard.
visually it barely looks better than most mobile games, this is not even close to the gorgeous graphics of his classic games
i just want sprites back
>less content
Why must you lie on the internet, though?
Alright where the fuck do I get the late game version of the crissigram-alike? I'm already faffing about the ice caves.
Graphicsfags should hang
see
if you press up for a bit you do pose
Tsurumaru
PLEASE tell me how to not get one shot by zangetsu at the end of fight #2. He guards everything and I can't move, what do I do?
People are sucking off this game for literally every reason EXCEPT graphics.
Honestly, its probably going to become a meme that the graphics are a pleb filter.
>bare bones
DLC fixed all of that but the game itself was perfectly fine. It just didn't feel as satisfying because it didn't have the cool shit from Pirate's Curse like shinesparking.
I mean, really, what content did SotN have that Bloodstained doesn’t other than Muramasa autism? What else was there left to do after getting 100%?
Before anything, go drop four of those Rhuvas or something. They drop from the Killer Barber. Continue killing him to get five barber blades (forgot the name). Get Millionaire key, go kill the slot machine boss until it drops Imbrued Fang.
Take all this shit to Johannes to make the uber version of the Rhuvas-something
Fuck I'm blind, thank you.
hm, I haven't come across the millionaire key.
i feel like if we didn't have copyright bullshit preventing fans from doing so, the fanbase with 4 years and 5.5 million dollars could make the most unbelievably gorgeous, detailed Castlevania game that blows this one out of the water
They are.
why is this game so fucking easy, did i accidentally the speed run strategy by using this Heretical Grinder from the Blood Grinder Knight? I have killed every boss so far in 5 seconds or less with it.
As a major Igavania fan and huge fan of Metroidvania's in general I'd say gameplay wise it's definitely in good company with other Igavania's but holy shit does the backer stuff and godawful 2.5D shit really hold that game back. Sometimes it looks and feels like a student project or something, it's pretty jarring considering that small teams (sometimes even just one person) have been making incredible-looking metroidvania games for at least a decade now, and those games were all $15-20 at most. I'm glad I didn't back it but I'm also glad it got made and that it's a fairly good game, this isn't some fucking Mighty Number 9 or Yooka-Laylee bullshit, it's a good entry in the genre.
The biggest problem is the models don't blend well with the backgrounds, you can very easily see they are operating on their own layer and it gives the whole game a surreal effect
the grinder is fuckin busted man
with the number of times they have remade the graphics and visuals of miriam's model, i can't understand how it's not just easier to make good sprites
That's the reverse of what I responded to. What I responded said Bloodstained is "literally SOTN but with waifu and less content". That's ridiculously out of touch with reality.
The right question is "what does Bloodstained have that SotN doesn't" to which the undetailed answer is "a fuckload of shit, one extra move per enemy to begin with".
The problem of Symphony is lack of balance and proper difficulty. You literally tanking every boss while fairy feed you potions and that's it. Compared to all the other castlevanias, the gameplay in sotn really feels like shit. Even Aria and Harmony were harder than sotn.
EEEEEEEEEEE
OOOOOOOOOO
>go to play the piano
>my fairy sits down and starts singing
C U T E
U
T
E
Rebirth is a """""""remake""""""" of CV gameboy, it doesn't even have the same music. You also forgot Legends.
Well considering where you are, you skipped it. It's on the "everything is huge" level.
>the fanbase
Honestly, these kinds of graphics and general glitchyness are what happens when you hire fans rather than professionals.
It takes more than passion.
I don't think anyone argues that SotN gets real fuckin easy when you start to just outlevel everything.
OoE by comparison busts my ass, that fucking crab in the lighthouse man.
>the sword familiar can be used as a melee weapon when not equipped as a familiar
>it becomes more powerful as it levels up
very cool
does the piano do anything or is it just for flavor
like so many things it's straight outta sotn.
ah I better go back and look for it then.
That’s what I’m saying. That saying SotN had more content than Bloodstained is hilariously incorrect.
if you let your big tiddy fairy sing the entire song you get an achievement
>2020A.D
>people still judging games by graphics
i literally never beat ecclesia, i loved the game, could not beat Eligor (the gigantic 4 legged boss)
even with light/dark lightning on both hands and etc he would eventually just wear me down
Nearly all post-SotN inspired games end up being very easy because that's how scaling works, no one said otherwise. Saying you can't have fun with them because they end-up giving the player a shit-ton of power is stupid. If you find the game so easy that you'd rather die, you just have to get creative while playing. There are a lot of ways to play SotN.
He released curse of the moon for ungrateful faggots like you.
I want to fuck that fairy.
there needs to be a mod that just puts better tracks from other CV games in because this OST is way too soft and kinda generic
>less content
>against all the content of sotn that you actually never use
>Nearly all post-SotN inspired games end up being very easy because that's how scaling works
So you agree that Symphony has turned all the genre to wrong direction?
Almost all the Katana ones are great, otherwise I don't use too many because the weapons I'm typically using don't have more than one or two useful ones.
Still some of them are pretty funny, like the charging greatsword one because of the speed and damage ramp up.
>lose hp trying to get a side area item
>you need double jump to get it
every time
IMO SOTN is the only one that really struggles with balance. The others are fine on a blind first playthrough for the most part, but it's so easy to break SOTN in countless ways that everyone will breeze through 80% of the content. The hardest part is right at the start when you lose all your shit, and after an hour you're already ramping up faster than anything around you. It's actually possible to die in the handheld games. CotM, Portrait (Richter without pie spam is a legit challenge), OoE, they feel about right. There are ways to break every entry, but you won't usually stumble across them naturally.
So now that Bloodstained is confirmed good can we get a follow-up to this?
Use the rekka kick on the kung fu boots
No I'm not. Metroidvanias are just different. Just because Konami never bothered making another worthwhile classicvania in order to bank on SotN's success doesn't mean SotN was bad for the genre, it means Konami mishandled the franchise. Iga has proven with CotM and RotN that classicvania and metroidvania are two different things and they can both be fun in current year if done correctly, for different reasons.
no
I'm working on it man, I killed 3 ankh bosses but now I can't even find any more.
What spell is the giant shuriken?
>not only can she sing and heal you she also shows you hidden areas
shes perfect and i want to marry her
Fuck you too, IGA.
>No steamroller
Weak.
i was confused how backers didn't already feel like they got their moneys worth with this. this style has SOUL
>posing for a meme photo
>accidentally slip
What the fuck does Grade do for Shards?
it literally says
I mean, like 7 or 8 people have already died this year trying to take selfies at the Grand Canyon. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
grade makes number go up, more damage, more healing, whatever, it incrases the raw power of it, rank does something else, like adding more projectiles or something.
Worth picking up on Switch physically for $40? How long is it?
She was asleep for ten years you fucking KNOW some apprentice alchemist shithead went for that crystallized cunt while she was out.
Drops from Warhorse key boss
Nice nice, but does the fairy get raped in the game or not? That's what's important
I know Sword changes again at 50.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Maybe 15 hours for a first run, but there are three difficulties and a ton of free DLC coming. Roguelite mode, co-op, boss rush I think? Also a ton of potential playthroughs you can do like gun only or minimum% if that's your sorta thing.
If you've played any Castlevania, it probably won't take you more than 15 hours to complete the game on the first run. There's a bunch of endgame content though so in that regard there's quite a lot of stuff to do for a game like this. There's also a bunch of extra modes you can do as well as a lot of password challenges, and the Hard/Nightmare difficulties are bound to keep you occupied for a long time. All in all, there's a good amount of content.
In the train, there's a chair you can sit on and look out the window. If you stay there for long enough, you will eventually get spooked by an enemy that will instantly curse you and deal heavy damage
Has anyone managed to kill this thing? what does it drop?
show me the wall chicken iga where is it
"Hi, my name is Buckula, and I like to fuckula"
Just use the kung Fu boots bro
It's relatively easy to kill if you invert. Don't even try killing it if you just reached the train for the first time though.
so is the abyssal guardian in the den of behemoths the best way to powerlevel familiars?
>have only killed up to the cathedral hand boss on hard mode
>max bloodbringers shard
>have a nearly 50 fucking damage weapon with only level 1 in the sword passive
anyone know what shard the big hallway cats give
a fire column spell that can be upgraded to just leave a big string of fire columns in front of you, I used it for a while
THAT FREAKING OLD LADY.
Any of you lads know where i can get her last wish? the life changing dish one. I dont have it at my recipes list
Forget what it’s called, but it calls a fiery colum from the ground. Can also be crafted into another fire spell that shoots a little ball that explodes and does continuous damage in the area for a couple seconds. It’s bretty gud.
thats cute user, now go farm barbers for the real mvp weapon for early-mid game.
The playboy bunny girl is equally stupid but you don't care because you're a faggot incel
Are guns worth using with how annoying it is to get bullets?
Hey, whatever happened to all that DLC like Pure Miriam? I never got it.
I mean, they had enemies like that in pretty much every Igavania. Lilith, succubus, the maids, pretty sure there was a cat girl of some sort in at least one of them.
I actually like the giant kitty demons, though. They’re hilarious. I love when you stand near them and they hiss and swipe at you.
If you like Igavania, it gives you another game to play.
this 8 bit overlord shard better be worth the grind
He went to Kickstarter, so retards tried to meme it up like that automatically meant the game was going to be shit and that Igarashi was a scam artist. Naturally, those of us with a brain realized that based Iga is not the same as Inafune or Roberts, and could actually be trusted. I am happy to be so resoundingly vindicated and eagerly await my physical Switch copy in the mail.
Then play Curse of the Moon. Sure it's not as good as the best of Classicvania, but it's plenty fun in its own right.
i wish the "ability get" scream didn't sound like horrific excruciating pain. just kinda makes me cringe every time like i am inflicting a horrible pain upon her to get these abilities
You can turn off the first-time shard animation.
>just maxed out the sword passive
>now have 53 damage and faster swings from ranking it up
nah im good lad
i guess you're right. the options menu is pretty extensive
oof
not a good look chief
big yikes for me
But the sword passive makes your totally-not-crissaegrim faster and do more damage, too.
>pretty sure there was a cat girl of some sort in at least one of them.
OoE, she dropped a glyph that let Shanoa morph into a catgirl and talk to cats.
go drink some bleach, shit for brains
thats why im using it. he was implying that i should farm the barbers for the dagger passive instead.
you can cancel your shots and fire like 3 bullets at a time (short hop, shoot in air, anim cancelled by fall, shoot and backstep, anim cancelled by backstep, shoot a 3rd time). honestly I'm surprised they just let you do that with guns from the start, it seems like it'd become OP over time.
Get raped and kill yourself, you retarded fucking faggot sack of nigger shit with down syndrome.
I used the boots kicking one to reach chests/powerups that would otherwise require getting double jumps early.
>get lost
>find the vampire lady and get her powers
>unlock the path on the blood fountain
>get lost again
why cant i just kill greggy boy and save everyone
I love the game so far, but goddamn the fact that the 3D models are pretty average quality and the shitty lightning effect really bothers me.
>implying bing bing wahoos grew up with them
Yikes
yeah, even Valdis Story, a game made by a married couple looks better aesthetically
see
probably for the trifecta of dissapointment and hack devs
god dammit.
I wish you could turn off the effects for passives because as I rank 9 more and more things I have a fucking pileup of particals and glowy horseshit on miriam
Shenmue 3 is working on it
true that
but it will take a while for the game to come out
Risk of Bloodrained
It's fun, but it's a rehash of SOTN and the Sorrow games, with a worse art style than SOTN
Which of you niggas is doing Nightmare mode on your first playthrough? It's absolute hell until you beat Zangetsu but after that things get more civil. Ignore the time, I left the game running while taking care of my life responsibilities
No, you can NG+
question for the ones who bought the iga dlc after playing some large percentage of the map , im 80% map completed if i buy and install the iga dlc will it fuck up my save? im on steam i think the issues were on xbox but im not going to risk it? so what do i do /v?
No.
Once people are dead set on hating something it is very hard for them to stop.
After seeing the graphics in the early builds look like absolute shit out of a kickstarter game people were screaming LOOKS LIKE SHIT, BLUNDER
if they go back on that they look like dirty hypocrites so they have to act like they hate it, even though it turns out the game is very good now that its out
Here is a dank work around. Talk to the alchemist vender, that disables all visual effects until you talk to a none vender.
I really disagree with this, the art style looks beautiful even if the graphics are outdated and low-poly.
if you zoom up close to the models they look like shit but the game in action looks fantastic.
This game had every indication of being a shit game. It ticked off almost all of the boxes of a bad game and it had all of the red flags and it STILL wound up being a great game. Iga is a fucking miracle worker.
Kinda crazy considering the fact that we're all anons.
even though we're anonymous it's a psychological thing, they'll feel like jackasses if they were proven wrong.
>Iga is a fucking miracle worker.
He is. He always has been. RotN is a bit rough in some respects because everything was created from scratch so his limitations show in that respect, but he's king at just putting shit together and making it work. I'm really hoping for another Bloodstained title with more polish. This is immensely fun and I like his flavor of "Metroidvania." I'm so, so much happier than I thought I'd be with this game. It's flawed but a fucking blast and that's what it's all about.
Just got Invert. Any good weapons I can get?
hows NG+ work anyways? do they take your movement powers away until you refind them or something?
Everything carries over except for items and shards needed to progress in the plot. Those have to be reclaimed.
when you get them back again do they go back to rank 1 or do you get the version you threw upgrades at?
OK asking again, since I didn't get a response last time:
I bought it on Xbone (I know, shut up) and am at 11%, playing 1.0.0.3
I read that the 1.2 patch fucks up your save and makes the game broken if your save is from a previous version
Does that mean I need to wait until the patch drops for Xbone before I can safely start a new save and play the game?
If its first encounter hes literally just teaching you to back-step. Every battle with him is a mechanics check up.
Really hope his next game will be a spiritual reboot to tokimeki memorial
It plays EXACTLY like Sotn. I don't trust anyone in this fucking board anymore.
Bookshelf.
how do you get to benjamin and the chest under the bridge in the oriental place
Yeah, it's the same
>but magic completely overshadows any weapon in this game
This, and it was my biggest issue with the game gameplay-wise. The weapons are just weak and unsatisfying as fuck compared to magic.
That's not Miriam you faggot
Miriam is a woman, not some preteen shit
Kys
I have no idea where to go after zan#2
So, just finished the game. Tried hard mode real quick, but that inflated damage doesn't seem particularly fun. Can you play as Zangetsu or Gebel or something with some secret codes?
Fight Gebel slowly
Anyone know where you find the spaghetti recepie? I can make fucking strawberry spaghetti but not actual fucking spaghetti and thats retarded. I have 100% fucking map completion too so I have no idea what the fuck I am doing wrong here.
so what's not alucard's deal exactly?
Not yet, and hard mode also changes boss attacks and enemy layouts.
If I remember right pasta recipe is in the left dragon tower, I believe the upper outside section
oh no wonder
I thought something would trigger automatically but he died in like 3 seconds and I got game over'd
He wants you to return your goddamn library books you thief
whoever made this 8 bit boss shard drop rate so low is a fag
Do you like being a pussy bitch who is never in danger and can coin every boss the first time through because you're a million miles away from it? Then yes.
What does mnd do?
You eventually get an infinite ammo hat from that old hungry bitch which makes the last gonna that has homing lasers that go through walls arguably one of the best weapons in the game since it hits for like 700 damage with diamond ammo
Jump over all his attacks, but try to go behind him when he uses the jumping slash. When he taunts you, get behind him and let him have it. Just be wary if he grapples close to the edge of the room because he might face the opposite direction
The archers drop a crazy strong shard, get it, upgrade it, love it.
From her last quest you mean?
How did you get the recipe for the dish?
I was going to actually try the game but this video changed my mind.
magic defense
What are the best shards in the game? I mostly used True Arrow until the late game, then switched to shurikens. Also the big fat holy magic lazor to clear small fry, which was initially very satisfying to use.
thats just how castlevania is man, at some point in SotN it barely kept being a video game because of how broken some shit was
I used true arrow until I got flying dagger which felt better to use since they all fly straight out
should i play on Normal, Hard or Nightmare?
note that i am a massive casual
Normal then.
Normal. Hard is well balanced and nightmare is "Fuck you you're level 1". Wish there was lv1 normal mode though
i thought con was m. defense, whats that do?
look at the marker. it's the deck on the left not the right. that ones easy, while the one on the left probably requires double jump
wanna know how I know you've never played castlevania and you're just here to stir up shit?
I think every few levels of con increases your actual defense stat
How long is it? Not necessarily replaying and getting all secrets and 100% but how long for just a nice regular single playthrough?
some are better about it than others, SotN is famously piss easy towards the end because of how overpowered you become, OoE is pretty hard all the way through from what I recall, had to learn glyph combos properly to take down some of those fuckin bosses, aria and dawn of sorrow fall towards the SotN end of that scale but not to that extreme.
He's saying that the majority of nintendofags here are barely old enough to be in middle school, let alone high school.
>Passive shards become permanent after you collect 9 of the same type
I'm roughly 60% of the map and I didn't know this shit what the fuck
Riga Dohin. It's a fire orb that just sits in place doing damage. You can spam them on top of bosses.
Only bad thing is the range, which is about medium. Won't go across a room but you don't have to shotgun it like true arrow.
The thunder spell is also good because it tracks all over the screen. Great for clearing trash.
You probably wouldn't have figured it out on your own until later anyway, there are only a few passives you can get without being able to access the final areas.
and you can still wear the yellow shard to double it up too, it's worth taking the time to get those passives, especially the weapon expertise ones, and optimizer.
Normal is Easy
Hard is Normal
Nightmare is Hard
should i get it for PC or Switch?
+5% power per grade above 1 up to 40%
Took me 20 hours to get the true ending, grinded a little to get almost every "soul" and complete some quests though. It should last you at least 15 hours.
Beat game, 100%'d map, enemies, shards/drops, quest and recipes. Working on the item log now, where do I get hairstyle book 5?
He's interested in this.
What fucking monster gives you a time stop? Finished the game without finding that one.
Also does Celeste room do anything?
He is the reason the entire series stagnated and died. The only reason this is successful is because it's been a decade since we got a iga game
he wants to be recognized as a successful musician but people keep want him to say the same fucking lines for twenty years
Anyone else get a boner when a chair mimic grabs Miriam and bounces around with her?
OD
Maxed out acceleration and high jump gives me a sonic boner.
Gotta go fast.
HP increase based on the stat.
I've heard good things about the gameplay so far.
what, the nice vampire guy? you need to kill him?
Staying up late, Yea Forums?
> first time eating food and getting shards to rank 9 gives permeant upgrades to you
Yes this is exactly what I needed in games like this. This is the first time I've ever finished a fucking cooking minigame before and grinded out shards I don't use. This game satisfies my autism and I'm rewarded with a demigod meriem
little bit
You'll understand when it happens. Just go explore around the glacial tombs more. The rewards are massive for beating him.
w h e r e
Eh, thought MN9 was average and quite playable, much like this game. It was just sorta ugly and terribly handled marketing-wise.
Literally the final area of the game. He's right next to the warp room.I don't know if you have to beat the final boss first though, since I seem to have missed him before doing that. He's probably the hardest boss in the game, just fyi
Yea Forumsirgins would love this webm if it was pixel art
2.5D looks ugly and cheap like some sort of early XBArcade abortion
Oh and I think you need to be carrying his God book too.
Guns are kinda fun once you have some top shelf ammo.
speedonvhs needs to die alongside jimmy hazmat and that leftpol autist adamantium
kill them
