Is this game fun nowadays?

Got bored with titanfall, should i drop 11$ on siege?

was fun at launch
too many waifufags on it now

It has glaring problems but it's ok. Terrible community, though.

It's pretty different from Titanfall, but for $11 it's alright.

the community is great but the game sucks

Nah i think it got worse by every single patch and the game is a 1 trick pony and if you don't like it you will not have fun with it

I fucking hate their operator systems and all their lore around them, i just wanted a game where i can customize fully my own operator and pick their weapons and gadgets but they had to go full autist and add gay operators with shitty backstories
But i guess they had to give some job to their untalented women writers to write shitty tumblr characters

But all in all the game doesn't evolve and that one formula that it has gets boring rather quickly

>formula that it has gets boring rather quickly

That's what i was afraid of, heard the same about Battlefield 5. What the fuck is there to play

If you're fine with getting your shit pushed in for the first 500 hours sure.

It's a blast. Stay in casual mode where you can actually kill people until you're real comfortable, I love this game but never do anything cool in competitive.

I love it. I just bought it for my brother for his birthday.

It can't be worse, the game pretty aweful during the first 2 years. Absolute trash netcode, buggy hitboxes, garbage acog uzi meta etc..

I'm not gonna play it like titanfall, i know it's a camping game. Question is, does it have a fun factor that makes the peepee feel good

Apex is free and fun

Got 200 hours in, don't wanna play it no more

I’ve been playing casual matches with friends. Compared to alone play which seems like a free for all, might be me but it feels too tactical to play alone, so best to play with friends user

>it's a camping game
it's not, rushing 3 speeds is the meta

Theres just no good multiplayer fps games with depth anymore every single one of them feels meaningless in gameplay because its just about shooting eachother but even thats not satisfying, i blame call of duty for it

Although saying that Siege has no depth would be a lie, theres some neat tactics here and there but in the end the game boils down on who sees who first and time to kill is fast, every headshot is an insta kill with every type of caliber which is bollocks
Oh and if you die at the start of the round you get to watch randoms lying in a corner for the rest of the round, so playing with friends is highly recommended

i've seen recent streams, dudes sit in corners for a couple of mins

>dudes sit in corners for a couple of mins
an entire round is "a couple of minutes", you're full of shit or watching coppers.

>last alive person on team
>top of scoreboard or close to it
>almost always voted to be kicked because I'm not rushing in with zero knowledge
>multiple times when I'm not even stalling
It's all so tiresome

You're probably low gold or worse if this is happening. I never had this happen to me and I started when Dokkaebi and Vigil came out.

suck a dick, that sitting felt like a couple of mins cause i was expecting some sort of action/movement

Maybe, I dont really play ranked because I'd have to soloque so I still dont have my placement matches for this season compelted yet

>wtf why don't they just run outside and fight the entire enemy team???
just keep playing call of duty

mechanically, siege is still a good game. aesthetically, it's total bullshit now. if you can overlook the stupid waifus, anime characters, unrealistic abilities, squeakers and teamkillers, there's some fun, tactical gameplay waiting for you.

piss off queer

>there's some fun, tactical gameplay

I'll give it a shot, thanks

I used impacts to kill attackers from the floor above the other day, felt cool

It's one of a kind and executes on its concepts pretty well, but it's not without it's fair share of bugs and balance problems due to its developers being ubisoft.
For example recently they had to remove claymores because there was an exploit involving one of its characters being able to go invisible by placing one down, so for a whole month now the game was without claymores, a pretty key element of preventing flanks and jumpouts.

And the character is still disabled, along with deployable shields due to ongoing bugs.

I think only clash is disabled, which is an entirely different problem where she could shoot while having her shield down.

Deployable shields are not in the game still.
Do you even play the game?

Meanwhile running outside and getting free kills has been a consistent cheese strat since release.
On some maps you could literally spawnn kill with c4 for years. (probably still the case)
