Zoomers in action. Nintendo won both sides overall because grew up playing their GenX parents' Nintendo games (either on surviving original hardware or more likely on Virtual Console) and because being into "classic" Nintendo is hip among the younger crowd. 360 beat PS2 because they were too young to appreciate the latter during its glory years, while the former was the dominant console when they were like 8-13 and was probably the console where they had their first experiences with serious games, where they first played online with friends after school, etc.
